Nike Sportswear continues their newly coined “Force Is Female” adage this season by introducing stark monochromes to the very subversive Jester variant of the Air Force 1 - clearly making a joke of the original silhouette. Almost as if the upper is melting, the trademark branding of the Swoosh, tongue tag, and heel logo are misplaced further down from their usual spots. The insole is inverted, revealing an imprint of the recognisable outsole pattern. This makes way for a slightly elevated midsole unit, verging on platform status. Definitely one for the Jesters.
