These shoes are great! My introduction to On Cloud was the CloudUltra 2, which were OK. I decided I wanted more cushion for everyday running and decided to give these a go. The height felt interesting at first, but I quickly adjusted and I'm in love. Just be mindful of sizing, as these run on the roomier side. In the CloudUltras, my usual size 9 was rather tight. In the CloudMonsters, I was swimming in size 9. I switched to an 8.5 and they're so perfect that I ordered a second pair in white for the summer. Highly recommend!

These are great, and super lightweight and comfortable out of the box! They even performed great on the trail. Also that white and orange color scheme looks absolutely fire, and I love the polka dotted shoelaces!I'm not usually into maximally cushioned shoes, but I honestly really liked these. They are super light, but have tons of support too as another Gearhead mentioned - a nice stiff sole with a cushy footbed. They were even supportive enough for my feet and ankles to hit the trail. Not rock plate needed with that thick cushioned, protective sole! On Cloud has extensive tech in their air light sole - they are known as a top designer in this space for a reason and where they get the name from! The cubed sole you'll see on nearly all of their shoes is made of a special firm EVA (On Cloud calls it the Zero Gravity foam) with an open air pocket in the middle of the midsole and hollowed out cubes that are cut down the line of the shoe, which adds flexibility than most typical shoe soles. For my couple hour run, I encountered some snow and mud and rocks. My feet never got too hot. These Monsters ventilate and breathe super well, which is important for me. They are also very responsive, so I was able to be precise on the trail. Also great for just strolling around the neighborhood. Did I mention how fire they look? I mean, just check out the pics! Also run true to size for my size 10 foot.

Well, I can say that you do need to order down a half size. I wear a true 10 and ordered a 9.5 and the length was perfect. Now, I can't say anything good about the width. It looked like I had an extremely wide foot so these would be great for people with wide feet. Everything else on them was fine, the white/undyed and frost color is beautiful. Unfortunately I will be returning them for the cloudmonster 1.There isn't more cushion than the original cloudmonsters not a bad shoe but definitely not a good one all around.
I purchased my CloudMonsters and they are amazing. They feel like Iām truly walking on a cloud. The staff at Noosaville were incredibly professional and went above and beyond to ensure the fit was perfect. Their dedication to customer service is evident in every interaction, making the entire experience pleasant and efficient. Whether you have a question or need assistance, they are always ready to provide support with a friendly attitude. I will definitely be purchasing all my future sneakers from them. Thanks ladies!
I am a recreational ultra runner, so far I only took these on a 5 mile trial run so these are initial impressions. I have wide yogi feet, for road running shoes I usually get brooks or Hoka and for trail running I wear Altra. Pros on this shoe: very lightweight, springy soles that are not too squishy so they still feel stable. I think the padding will be nice on my feet on long runs. Tread feels better than I expected but I haven't tried it on wet pavement yet. The big downside to this shoe is that the heel doesn't feel structured/grippy enough, so it's a potential hotspot for longer runs. I don't have skinny ankles or a narrow heel so this isn't usually a problem for me. I'm going to get some heel grip inserts to help this. I think if I were going to buy a road running shoe in this price range again I'd probably just get Hokas. But overall not a bad shoe! And if you want them for a job where you're on your feet all day I think they'd be perfect.
I continually purchase the Monster style of OC. They are extra cushy and easy on my joints. I use them for running on roads and paths. They are very comfortable and bouncy. I don't do any worrying about my feet hurting because they fit well. Before I found these I had joint and back pain during and certainly after my runs. I've been using them for about five years now. I do compare them now and then with the other major cushioning brands. I keep coming back to monsters because the others hurt my toes. My only complaint would be the open tunnel along the soles. It collects rocks and mud. They are kind of hard to keep clean if you get off the pavement.
These shoes are amazing. I have always purchased this brand for all my running shoes. I thought I would try the new cloudmonster 2 as I had the older model. I have to say first impressions were good! Super cushiony, responsive and light in comparison to the older version. However, this shoe DOES run big! I had to exchange to half a size smaller. So I am usual a size 8, I went to a size 7.5 - I had no troubles doing this with Sportitude, but I wished they had mentioned this in their description. I went into the brand's website and it is actually suggested by them to go a size smaller. Otherwise, I can't fault them. Another thing to mention is they fit my custom made orthotics with no issues at all. I would definitely buy again from Sportitude.
The BEST cloudmonster!!! Iāve tried on the original cloudmonster as well as the cloudmonster hyper. Neither worked for my feet. I also didnāt like the feel of the cushion in the hyper.But. These cloudmonster 2 shoes are easily my favorite of the shoes Iām running in now. Love the cushion. They are wide enough for my feet. And there is padding around the ankle and heel that makes them comfortable. I can run slow and easy. I can also pick up the pace and fly. Love these shoes. For reference Iāve also run in Cloudstratus 3 which fit great and the Cloudsurfer which I liked a lot but were a bit narrow. Cloudsurfer were good for shorter runs on cooler days when my feet donāt swell. But the Cloudmonster 2 I can run long or short and in any temperature. The shoe itself is light. I have slightly thick feet but it isnāt tight at all. The material is breathable. The cloud technology is decent. However as someone who also trains with a HOKA I still prefer the HOKA over it.The cloud coushioning is aesthetically pleasing and adds a very athletic silhouette. To sum it up: I donāt think I ll buy this brand again. Itās Still an above average training shoe but it didnāt meet my expectations. So itās not to say that the shoe isnāt great- it is but I ve trained with better.
