A quality item in my wardrobe

I really love this waterproof. The colour is classy - not bright, but a lovely softer tone which looks very smart. Everything about this coat is well finished. I usually buy a size 14
for coats and jackets but a 12 for blouses and jumpers, and this was exactly what I wanted. It doesn’t look big, but I have room for a warm sweater underneath for chilly days. I
haven’t been out in the rain in it yet but the cloth does feel able to withstand a downpour! It is a favourite item in my wardrobe already.

Wasn't sure about this at first but have totally fallen in love with it. Looks really great layered over darker coloured clothing and has a non fussy style I really like. Looks even
sleeker when the hood is detached but given the current weather haven't been able to do that too often yet. The contrast navy detail is what I liked initially and am now
completely sold on the subtlety overall. Have worn it many times recently and am loving it. Looks fresh, smart and unique.

Lovely style. Looks good and also love feel of the material. Chose for about town / wearing to work to look semi smart, but a really good length to keep dry and wind
proof.Lovely big hood which is nice and generous.Big pockets and extra inside phone one which is great.Sealed seams so hoping will be fully waterproof but so far only been
out in light drizzle.Love the contrast lining too.Sized up, normally a 10 but bust was little tight.

Gorgeous coat, weirdly long sleeves
16 April 2024
I love this coat, with one caveat. It fits well (I take a 24 and I'm 5'6"), I bought it in the green and it's a lovely colour, very true to the website pics. It's smart but casual, and because it's unlined it's ideal for rainy summer days, but in the winter you can wear layers under it (there's plenty of room for a big jumper), so it's still perfect. I'm on the coast, and this coat is properly waterproof without ever leaving me clammy. However! The sleeves are insanely long. Even with the coat done up to my neck and the wrist adjustments at their tightest (see pic), they come down beyond my middle knuckle, and in this aspect alone I feel as if I'm wearing my big brother (or possibly a gibbon's) coat. There is no way to keep those sleeves from descending to cover ... MoreI love this coat, with one caveat. It fits well (I take a 24 and I'm 5'6"), I bought it in the green and it's a lovely colour, very true to the website pics. There is no way to keep those sleeves from descending to cover your hands so wearing it is a constant wrestle of pushing sleeves up every few seconds. I mentioned my height above, because I'm taller than average in the UK and you'd think this would be a problem that tended to affect shorter folks. But no.Anyway, I'm going to have to take the coat to a tailor to get the sleeves taken up, which is frustrating and expensive. Other than that, I really like it a lot!... Show more

Just what I wanted
5 March 2024
Just the ticket for me. I usually find myself wearing padded jackets or anoraks. They aren't very smart but of course keep out the cold and wet. Here in Scotland that's a must. My new raincoat adds style and the colour just brightens my day when I'm wearing it. It keeps the wind and rain at bay and also brings style alongside it. Fit is perfect as I bought the petite size, being small this is important to me,sleeve length just right, shoulder fitting good and pockets sitting at good height. All in all I'm really pleased with my coat.... Show more

Lovely lightweight raincoat
21 May 2024
This raincoat looks great and I am very pleased with it. The blue is a lovely deep colour and it has two zipped and deep side pockets and a phone pocket inside as well. The first time I wore it was in heavy rain, and I found the adjustable storm cuffs very useful. The hood is generously sized and has a cord for adjusting. I would have liked an adjustment feature on the back of the hood to adjust the depth as well though. The length was to the knee which was good for keeping dry, and the fabric is robust and effective in heavy rain. I didn’t get wet.... Show more

Lovely Stylish Raincoat
1 July 2024
Already purchased the green fishtail Seasalt raincoat, (direct from Seasalt as M&S did not have my size (24) in stock, size not even showing as being available to order or not, nor was the option to be notified if stock did become available). I thought as this is a different style and I liked this in red ( makes a change from the usual navy or black) I would order it. Not disappointed. It is a much closer fit to the fishtail raincoat, and although I could still wear a thin jumper underneath in the colder weather, size 24 (normal size) is true to size. If you like a lose fit I would suggest you size up. The sleeves a bit long but I tightened them by moving to the next press stud and now length and fit are fine. It's a good length (comes to the knees (I'm 5ft 6"). ... MoreAlready purchased the green fishtail Seasalt raincoat, (direct from Seasalt as M&S did not have my size (24) in stock, size not even showing as being available to order or not, nor was the option to be notified if stock did become available). Haven't worn it yet as it's been too warm so cannot comment on the warmth. Did find it a bit expensive, but am sure I will get lots of wear from it and happy with my purchase... Show more

Perfect coat for spring!
8 April 2024
Lovely, lightweight coat for spring - perfect as the weather warms up but with still lots of rain around!Lots of functional features - totally waterproof, two way zip, adjustable cuffs, good size hood and deep pockets. The hood is detachable which is useful as it makes the coat look smarter. The rain cloud colour is an interesting blue (better than navy) and goes with lots of my clothes.I like the fact it is quite stream-lined - no adjustable waist nor poppers on this coat, just a chunky zip. Good size with plenty of room for a layer or two.... Show more

Superb!
26 May 2024
This rain coat is beautifully made, with well tailored seams and quality fabric. The fit is A, line, so plenty of room for jumpers when the weather turns chillier, but equally easy and light enough to throw on over a t shirt in summer. The length is great and offers that little bit extra rain protection when compared with your typical rain jacket. The hood is large and offers great rain protection, with the whole coat being brilliantly waterproof. The zip is easy running and the rain flap poppers good quality. The coat packs down well and quite flat, so excellent space wise for a longer coat. Fabulous for long walks, doggo walking, or generally ambling about on our changeable weather days.Loving the inky blue colour, and it looks fab on even as a larger lady.I ... MoreThis rain coat is beautifully made, with well tailored seams and quality fabric. I went into to the Harrogate shop to view this coat before asking them to order it online ( petite sizes are not available in store) I was told by staff that it was not made in a petite size . Puzzled - I returned home - saw it online and ordered it!The problem is with the website.:It is not shown if you shop by fit in the petite section and can only be seen under the title ‘ lightweight raincoats’ Other styles of raincoats ,also in petite sizes, are not listed in the petite section . This is a potential problem both for customers and the company in terms of sales.I bought petite size 14 in whelk . High quality as always and nice colour and style apart from sleeves being rather long .... Show more
