This is NOT "sandwich bread" Sandwich loaf is a FLAT top. This is ROUND top bread. Literally, it is called Round Top Bread vs. Sandwich Loaf Bread. Invented by a man named Pullman. It was originally called the Pullman Loaf, because of the pan he invented to make it flat top for square sandwiches. I miss REAL sandwich loaf breads, vs the fake "sandwich bread" named on these packages.

I always get this as a substitution because Walmart is always out of the Great Value bread! Really? It is alot more expensive, and so aiiry and flimsy you cant even spread PB on it! For the price I expect better! Won't order any bread from Walmart if I am always going to get this as a sub. Even if I list another replacement brand, they are out of it too! If you put Don't replace, then you don't get any bread!

I decided to give Wonder bread a try instead of purchasing my usual Sarah Lee bread. Compared to other breads, the size of each slice of bread is smaller. While the taste is exceptional, I'm sorry to say that we could not enjoy this bread because it molded before the expiration date. I had to throw away a loaf and half of bread due to mold. This was on 6/8/23 and the expiration on each loaf was 6/13/23. Lesson learned. I will stick with my Sarah Lee bread that lasts much longer.
The breads expiration date was in 4 days, I should have known. It already smelled like old bread so once it was opened we could only eat about 2 slices forcefully and had to throw out the rest. It also had some type of black grain or something on one of the slices, not sure what that what was to be honest since this is white bred ive never seen this have any type of grains in it.
It’s a wonder this bread is so popular. To me it’s too dry, thick and coarse. I prefer the softer Sunbeam bread but it wasn’t available. Again. I grew up eating Merita bread but it isn’t available in the state where I now live. :(
Wonder Bread Classic White Sandwich Bread is the quintessential sandwich foundation. This 20 oz loaf of sliced goodness is soft, fluffy, and has a hint of sweetness. It toasts well and holds together nicely. The packaging could be a bit more robust, but that's a small price to pay for comfort food at its finest. Wonder-fully classic
We like this bread . It’s the closest, softest , white bread up next to BIMBO white bread. The bread with the White bear as logo . I was introduced to this delicious white bread in Costa Rica andI’ve only seen this brand in WALMARTS:(And now it stopped:( BIMBO toast is still available but,does anyone know what happened?
No problem with the bread and type. Problem was how half of the loaf of bread was squished into a bag that was too small for this size of loaf. Not the drivers fault but the stores fault on NOT packing correctly!!! Whoever does the shopping for orders should be trained how to package all items correctly!!! My last order I had liquid ant bait traps packed in with food. NEVER, NEVER pack poison in with food in the same bag!!!
always taste fresh. it last pretty long in my drawer. not sure if thats good cause it must be packed with preservatives. i dont eat much bread and i like the taste of this and the thickness. when i am in the mood for toast or a sandwich i like wonder bread
