Woolworths 100% Canadian Maple Syrup 250ml

Biggest Maple Fan. All purpose love. I love Maple Syrup. I use it on everything to sweeten up desserts, breakfast, or a hint to taste. This Brand in particular I actually was surprised by the difference. It's much more syrupy rather than watery, the taste of maple is so much stronger as well. Never was a fan of this bottle, because of my fat fingers, found it so awkward, by the end of my pour, I still found a way to get it all over myself. Huge fan of the twist top lids. But as an ornament in my kitchen.. it's fancy. I attempted to make Maple Anzac cookies using maple syrup.. I will post the recipe if anyone wants to give it a try.. they were a hit. !

Surprisingly enjoyed it! We usually purchase the Green Maple Syrup which ingredients are sugar, glucose syrup, flavouring and additives/preservatives. We received this as a trial item and thought we’d give it a go. Upon purchasing I saw that it was 100% Maple Syrup. This both intrigued me and pleased me. I wondered if it would be ‘sweet’ and ‘tasty’ enough for the kids but loved that there were no nasties in it. We had it on our weekend pancakes and thought it was a lovely addition. The flavouring was subtle but nice and we added more. We will definitely change over. The only thing that we weren’t sure of was the smell when we first opened it (almost woody in smell) but it was fine.

Excellent product. Love this maple syrup - buy it all the time and my current bottle is nearly empty so I was happy to be given this sample to review. 100% maple syrup from Canada - nothing more to say. Perfect. I’m sure, like any natural product, there must be varying qualities of maple syrup but this suits me, and without several others to compare, then I can’t fault this. Use it the usual way on waffles and pancakes, but find it very good in salad dressings, on bacon etc etc etc. The sky is the limit. Good price point.

Best sample ever. This Woolworths 100% pure Canadian Maple Syrup is a favourite with me, I haven't open the sample yet but it's in the pantry with the two other unopened bottles of sweet goodness, waiting for the one in the fridge to be finished. I use it daily as my main form of sweetener. I also use it when I make low fodmap jumbo muffins. I will certainly buy this product in the future and recommend it to others. Can’t beat Sunday morning pancakes. My kids had NEVER tried REAL maple syrup (I know, they’re very deprived!) so I made sure they got the full experience. Freshly made pancakes, lathered in butter, with a drizzle of delicious maple syrup. What a treat!One kid delighted in the amazing gift that is tree sap from Canada, the other preferred her usual Aussie golden syrup. I couldn’t fault this beautiful Canadian syrup. It was lovely and well worth the extra few dollars for the real deal. 10/10 would recommend!

Genuine Canadian Maple Syrup. This was not a sample but a purchase when required for a recipe. It has intense Maple Syrup flavour not just sugary sweetness. I use Maple Syrup in sweet dishes, cooking, Pecan pie, pumpkin pie, however it can be drizzled on sweet vegies particularly pumpkins sweet potato. That said, when it is in the house its popular use is for the usual topping on pancakes and ice cream. Of course this Woolworths brand Maple Syrup is produced in Canada, is 100% Maple Syrup, with No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives and has an HSR of 1. It requires refrigeration after opening and to be used within 120 days. The glass bottle and plastic top are reusable, the label shows the recycle symbol but I'm not sure the plastic screw top can be recycled.

Pretty tasty maple syrup. I really like that it is pure maple syrup - not a maple flavoured product. It has the delicious maple taste and goes well on pancakes, porridge and just about anything really. My kids like it too. I only buy pure maple syrup and this one is pretty good. I wouldn’t mind if it was a bit thicker in texture (I. e. if it has been distilled down a little more) but for the price and taste I think it’s a great product. The packaging is nice too. I like the glass jar that can be recycled.

Great quality real maple syrup. This maple syrup was a hit in our household. We use maple syrup frequently to sweeten smoothies and protein shakes and this syrup was on par with the other brand we regularly buy. Pure maple syrup is just delicious and this jar did not disappoint. I like that it comes in a glass jar but don’t understand why you removed the easy pour opening flip lid. A tad more expensive per 100g than the 1L bottle I usually get but I I would consider buying this again if my regular brand is unavailable.

Good economical maple syrup. We have used this syrup for a few years now, and while it's not a top quality maple syrup, it's still pretty good and at the price point we are pretty happy with it. It gets used for lots of different things, on crumpets and pancakes, in cooking (baking, bliss balls, roasts). One thing I don't like it the current lid. Where previously there was a flip top lid with a hole, it's now just a screw on lid that is harder to pour - and when the syrup around the lid crystallises it can stick on and be hard to remove.
