Quite sweet flavour. Nice bottle shape and choice of image. I would probably leave a part of the label transparent to view the juice colour. Produced in Chile. I have a lot of good feelings about Chile, but I would still prefer for the juice to be produced (not only packed) in Australia. Intense smell, thick consistency, quite sweet flavour. I liked it. A refreshing drink on its own. But actually also quite enjoyable with tortilla chips and, I guess, other salty snacks, as the sweetness of the drink would be balanced out. A 5 star product that would make a great addition to a healthy diet. The flavour would probably be less strong if the juice was mixed with other fruits or vegetables, to create a lighter drink. That would possibly make it more palatable to more ... MoreQuite sweet flavour. Nice bottle shape and choice of image. I would probably leave a part of the label transparent to view the juice colour. Reconstituted and Chilean. I love prunes and always buy the Australian brand “Verity” prunes. It would be good if they don’t also made prune juice. :)There were about four brands of long life prune juice on shelf including this Woolworths branded sample - and none of them was an Australian product. I did a bit of googling and discovered that apparently Chile grows very good plums, so perhaps that is why so many of the prune juices are a Chilean product. It is “reconstituted” (which I usually avoid) and packed in Australia - it would be interesting to know if the reconstitution happened in Australia or Chile. Despite loving prunes in all forms, I’ve never had prune juice before. I don’t require or use laxatives and was warned to proceed with caution, as it can work ... MoreReconstituted and Chilean. During the day I probably had about a glass full with no ill effects. :)I like the taste of this though I do prefer dried prunes so will stick to them, just because I like them. I would buy this juice someone in the family requires a quick fix. It was substantially cheaper than the other brands and the others didn’t seem to have any benefits over this. It only gets a measly one star health rating which confirms my distrust of this star system. Overall, a pleasant drink.

Just ok. I've tried branded prune juices in the past and really liked how thick and sweet they were, so was expecting the Woolworths 100% Prune Juice to be similar. Sadly, it wasn't. The Woolworths 100% Prune Juice was extremely thin, which isn't necessarily a bad thing if the flavour was there. While I could definitely taste prunes, each sip left a slightly bitter aftertaste behind. The Woolworths 100% Prune Juice just didn't deliver what I was looking for as it drink in itself. However, I can see the value of using it as a base for smoothies as the packaging suggests.

Made in Chile . What a beautiful coloured Prune juice! I usually buy another brand of prune juice, in a glass bottle but I saw this and thought I’d give it a go. It won’t last long only being 1 litre bottle though but looks good. It’s not as thick, or as heavy as my usual prune juice but still very nice tasting. Hubby said I would pay for it tomorrow as I drank half the bottle tonight. I don’t get the aggressive digestive help that prunes give most people, usually …but i guess I’ll see. Technical stuff- Ashame it’s only packed in Australia, from Chile Prune Juice, it is a great price, 1 litre plastic recyclable bottle & lid, no added sugar, no artificial colours or preservatives, 1 health star, suitable for vegans & vegetarians. New go to. I have always purchased Prune juice. I didn't even know there was a WOW brand until I got this offer. When I picked it up I found it in a different area of the shelf. Taste - it is not different than the AU brand ones. It is imported, but the AU brands are imported too. This one is half the price, so guess what I will be buying in the future. The other good point is the bottle design. Because it is slim it fits better in the fridge door shelf - bonus. Great value for money and product Woolies!
Affordable prune juice works well. I always try to have a bottle at home for days when you need to have high fibre foods/drinks. Best healthy and quick treatment for constipation. Have half a glass of prune juice a couple of times. Works like a charm for my toddler too. This has a nice balanced flavour if you have it chilled, in the right quantity.
Disappointed. I love prune juice and drink some most mornings with breakfast. I wasn’t aware that Woollies had their own brand of prune juice so was keen to try it. I liked the shape and size of the bottle and it was easy to handle. I was surprised, however, to see that this brand contained nearly twice the quantity of sugar as my usual well known variety. I had all sorts of trouble opening the lid, which was screwed on extremely tightly, and the seal also broke while trying to remove it. The juice itself seemed watery and tasted somewhat the same unfortunately, even though the contents were listed on the bottle as 100% reconstituted prunes. I was disappointed in this product and will not be purchasing it in the future. Sorry Woollies!
Full Flavoured Prune Juice. This prune juice is well balanced, full of flavour and best of all there is no added sugar which is fantastic. Even though there is no added sugar it does contain 43. 3g of natural sugar per 100 which is expected for this kind of drink. It is a good source of fibre and comes in a 1 litre bottle. Produced in Chile, Packed in Australia. I would normally take off a point for not been produced locally but could not fault the product. I normally purchase prune juice that is locally produced and it has not been as nice as this one. The locally produced product that I normally purchase retails at $10 a litre compared to this one at $3. 15. This is very economical at this price. Also has a health star rating of 5 which is excellent, the bottle is great to handle for easy pouring and is easy to locate on the shelf. I always support locally produced Australian products but the quality has to be there and this prune juice delivers on taste, quality and price. Overall a great quality product that is best enjoyed chilled for a refreshing drink, can be added in smoothies or baked goods. Great value for money and highly recommend anyone to give it a go and will be definitely buying again.
I have no Comparison. I have never purchased prune juice before. I have no idea what it is supposed to taste like, but I know what it is supposed to do. This juice was ok. A little tart, but I don't think this isn't supposed to be consumed like a normal juice. It served its purpose though. I feel like this is maybe supposed to mixed into a smoothie or something? We found uses for our sample but it is not something I would purchase in future. Thank you for your sample.
Gets things moving . I would give this product 5 stars purely on entertainment purposes only but I will get into that later... I didn't get a chance to sample this product as after I returned home from an appointment after purchasing this product that morning I couldn't find it anywhere in the fridge. After questioning my ex on where it was he exclaimed that he had drunk it! "What the whole bottle?"Yeah, the whole bottle, one litre of prune juice! I told him you know what happens when you drink prune juice and he said yes, but he'll be right. Yeah well he was for the first couple of hours but, for the hours that followed including the next day after, he was far from it. It's one thing to get things moving, but it's quite a another when it prevents you from leaving your house for the fear of sky-writing. It was a musical event I do not want to experience again and I'm glad I don't do his washing but I told him that's what you get for being so stupid. I don't think I have had a laugh this good in a while but on a more serious note: The flavour wasn't too bad just a little watered down in comparison to other brands, maybe because it was reconstituted juice. It wasn't too expensive at $4 a bottle. It's easy to recycle although it was packed in Australia it was produced in Chile. The sugar content was a bit high, probably why it only has a health star rating of 1. I'm not sure I would buy this again for myself because I don't really like prune juice but I might indulge occasionally and buy one for my ex as long as he drinks one glass.
