Woolworths Almonds Natural 450g

Tasty and versatile. I had to look around for these as there are three aisles with nuts in them and of course they were in the last one I looked in... was quite confusing as thought they would have been in the one nearest the fruit and veg section where they have lots of fresh nuts already. The package size is just right as I can use them sprinkled on a mixed nibbles platter and have some for snacking on. They taste fresh and are reasonably priced. I like to buy them fresh and toast them myself if I need some that way and can sprinkle flavouring on them to suit although I do like to buy smoked almonds as I love the flavouring and can’t replicate that. thank you Bunch, just delicious and we all love almonds

Makes great almond meal. Needed some almond meal and to lazy to go shopping. Put these almonds though the blender and could not tell the difference. Definitely a good way of buying, that way you have a nut to eat whole or blitz for meal for cooking. Made the most beautiful chocolate almond meal cake. The few larger pieces added to the cake not away from it.

In all honesty, Somewhat Underwhelming... 100% Australian, yay!Big Yay on that actually. But for some obscure reason what was in the packet I got didn't taste terribly... almondy. And the nuts were actually somewhat soft as well, not as crisp as any fresh almond I've eaten - ones out of the Woolies Mixed Salted or other branded packets of mixed nuts we sometimes get are much firmer and tastier. If anything these ones seemed to be somewhat... stale?Could have been a one-off Return For Full Refund If Not Fully Satisfied example. At $4 a packet (which is getting up towards the cost of cashews) they would have been sent back for Quality Control checking, else used in cooking that didn't need crisp tasty almonds. So from this sample I'll give them a 3 for Australian content.

Have you tried almond butter yet?? These beautiful Australian almonds just made divine almond butter. I collected them and went straight home - into the oven to toast lightly, (not me, the nuts) and when warm, into the food processor (with a rather naughty spoon of maple syrup today). Delicious. Smooth. Aussie nuts. Sublime. Spreading on sourdough as we speak. Trust me. You'll never buy ready-made again. Thanks Woolworths. Enjoyed so much. Forgot to save some to decorate my Christmas cake.

Delicious Almonds. I am a fan of almonds in general so was pleased to receive this offer. They provide a quick filling snack and tasted fresh. It is a good price point size-wise and i had no complaints about the flavour and texture.

Versatile Tasty Treat. Very happy with the natural almonds. I opened the packet and ate a few. When I say a few I needed to put the packet away before I ate the lot. Next day I decided to make a honey nut slice with them. It turned out really well considering that I didn’t have enough honey and substituted maple syrup to make up enough and I didn’t have almond meal so made my own from sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Yummy slice. Yummy nuts. I’ll purchase them again next time I need nuts.

An above average almond. Easy to find in the baking aisle, natural almonds are a staple in my household. The pack size of 450g is perfect for a top up or refill without having to store in bulk. The price point is also on par with larger packets. The almonds were fresh and and crunchy for a shelf stable product. Versatile enough to be made into nut milk, roasted and made into a nut butter or eaten as a quick snack. Being an 100% Australia product also is fantastic and supports farmers. It would be great if the packet was resealable to avoid decanting or in a form of packaging that is biodegradable or recycled more easily.

Great value product. Personally I'm more of a dry roasted almond person, but I really enjoyed the natural almonds. They didn't have any funky smells or tastes and there was a good level of crunch. I used them just as a snack mainly (hint: eat only as many as you can fit as a single layer on your palm, not including fingers) and I also coarsely cut them up in yoghurt and for protein balls. My dad enjoyed them so much, he finished off the packet! Glad Woolworths has a high quality product like this at a reasonable price.

Simply great nuts! I bought these for my 'nut crazy' daughter. They are a fantastic product and a regular buy for us. A product of Australia. 5 health rating. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. A source of protein and fibre. The packaging is return to store recyclable. These nuts have a slightly sweet aftertaste which make them ideal for a mid morning/afternoon snack.

Yummy raw almonds. Love almonds, Woolies almonds are one of my favourite nuts. These are a great healthy and delicious snack. Taste as good as almonds from expensive brands, if not better. I usually prefer roasted and salted almonds for extra crispness, so these were different but still loved them.
