LEAN AND TENDER. Have to change the name of Elvis's song now from Love Me Tender to Lean and Tender and it lived up to this 100%. Being on aged pension it's something I could only look at buying if I saw it on special or I had a small windfall. But it was the best I've tasted, almost melted in your mouth. Two good sized portions, one of which I had with mashed spuds and stir fried greens. Thank you bunch for giving my taste buds an experience they might not have had otherwise. Cooked it according to the instructions of 3 minutes each side for Medium, to me that was more medium rare so gave it a couple more minutes each side.

Awesomely Tender Lean Steak. This was such a treat! Absolutely enjoyed every mouthful of tender, juicy, melt in the mouth Australian steak. The best cut of meat to cook quickly, rest for 5 minutes, and enjoy. We are most grateful for receiving this to try, as I have never paid $52 per kilo for meat ever before in my life. I appreciate the quality is superb, making it a pleasure to prepare and cook. I will consider buying this for a special occasion, and it is more economical to cook at home than dine out!Served with mushroom gravy, veggies and wedges they made the perfect accompaniment. Compliments to Bunch for allowing us to enjoy a delicious, quick and easy to prepare meal that we recommend to others. Thank you.

Absolutely Delicious. There were two nice size good looking eye fillet steaks in the pack of the one I selected. Weight/kilo was 0. 375 at a cost of $19. 50. Worked out at $52. 00 per kilo. Considering the cost of meat at the moment it is expensive but worth every penny. Love also that it is 100% Australian beef. BBD was 9th July just under 2 weeks which was great as I didn't have to open the pack and cook them straight away. I have never cooked beef eye fillet steaks before as I am not a red meat eater so I had to look up the best way to cook these steaks. Found a recipe for a marinade and followed the instructions. I definitely have changed my mind about eating red meat as these steaks were so tender, so juicy, so tasty and so so delicious. From the steaks I got two meals. I let them rest for 5 minutes and then had them with a variety of vegetables. Thank you Bunch for this fantastic delicious sample of which I am very grateful and although they are expensive I will continue to purchase them.

Impressive Steaks. While I'm not a big fan of red meat, my son LOVES it and as such is quite fussy. I pan fried these steaks to medium rare and made a red wine jus. Yes, I love my son as much as he loves meat, well..... I'd say more than. I asked what he thought, and he gave them, two thumbs up. Said they were tender, juicy and flavoursome on their own. I didn't actually weigh them before cooking so can't comment on that. But can say they were steaks he would happily eat again.

For a splurge here is your go to treat. I am not a big red meat eater so might have some once every 4 or 5 months and when I do I make sure its good. Was so pleased to get this sample as red meat is currently out of my budget and this is $52 a kilo. As it was a sample I ferreted through the ones in the shelf for the biggest one there was and snagged a. 378 kg pack which would have set me back $19. 66. Yes it was lovely. We grow our own garlic and made up our own black garlic which we have made some into garlic butter which is the best thing on a steak and a baked spud. So this and some fresh swiss chard from the garden was just so yummy and posh. Tender and delicious. Steaks were soft, plump and full of flavour. Easy to cook and carve. I love the instructions on the pack so did the 3 min per side using a timer for steak to come out perfect medium. Paired with Woolworths Family Caesar salad pack and joy of joys. These by themselves were great, and beautiful sized portions. If it was a steak-off between these and the Macro Organic range of eye fillet, would probably choose the latter (but only by the smallest of margins).

Divine! It took 3 different trips to my local Woolies to be able to source these steaks so they must be popular! Well worth the run around though. Restaurant quality steak at home. I’m also a huge fan of the packaging - minimal plastic and cryovaced so less waste with a longer expiry. The only thing I would recommend is making the labeling a bit clearer. All of the meat in the new packaging looks extremely similar and it took me a while to find it!

Not eye fillet. We always buy eye fillet. We find it a better cut of meat for the family. No waste. Yes it can be expensive. I was excited to get a free pack.. when cooked I was disappointed. I know how to cook a steak, mine is medium rare. When I served it up and cut into it some sliced were true eye fillet no grizzle and so delicious. The rest of the steak was awful. So grizzly I had to give to the dog. ( he loved it). I was disappointed. I will try again to see if it wa just a bad batch. But for the cost I will be looking very closely at the packet.

Best Steak. Best steak I have had for a long time. Definitely melt in your mouth and a delicate flavour. Cooking instructions. Each side requires 2 minutes for rare, 3 for medium and 5 for well done either pan fry or Bbq. I like mine well done and the time was preet6spot on. 100% Australian. Bit on the expensive side but well worth $14. 30 that I paid for 2 delicious steaks that would cost ma close to $40. 00 each in a restaurant. Will definitely purchase again. This was not a sample I just felt like a good meal.

So tender. These were not a Bunch freebie, we enjoyed them so much I thought I would share. Our new (downsized ) Weber BBQ deserved a lovely welcome so we splurged. These steaks are not something we had purchasing before, purely due to the cost. If we have bought good steaks, it’s at a Butcher. These steaks were absolutely divine, so tender & a beautiful flavour. With the runway behind longer than what’s ahead for us, they will be in our trolley more often. have a great weekend Bunchies x
