Great Value Product. This was easy to find in the meat department and with the clear packaging you can quickly and easily see what you are getting. It's excellent value being even cheaper than 500g of beef mince, and has a nice flavour that is good for a change from traditional mince. Big plus is it's 100% Australian and just the mince, no additives. The packaging is completely recyclable, at least for us, which again gets a big thumbs up. I have a Turkish Lamb Pizza recipe that I love but haven't made for a while, so this was perfect to cook for lunch today. It is cooked on the stove top with onion, garlic, added spices (cinnamon, cumin and small amount of cayenne pepper) and tomatoes, then I cover some pita bread with the mince, heat in the oven and serve with a ...Ā MoreGreat Value Product. Was delicious as usual and while it's hard to ascertain the difference between lamb minces between stores I had no issues or fault with this Woolies brand. It is probably the brand I most use anyway due to store convenience and price but it wasn't overly fatty and seemed to be of a high quality. Overall I was very happy with this product. I am more than happy to recommend it and will definitely buy again. If you are finding beef mince a little dear at the moment this is a great alternative since it's a little cheaper, or perfect to use in any lamb mince recipes you might have. And if money isn't an issue then you can simply create some more flavour by combining this lamb with beef mince just for some variety with your meals.

Great tasting lean Pork Mince. I buy this often so I already knew this to be a great product and was happy to have a free sample. I usually put mince in a pasta dish and I had intended to do that yesterday but I had found some marked down veggie zoodles so decided to make my dish with those instead of pasta. I also mostly make my own pasta sauce and when I do it makes quite a bit so I freeze it on batches. I had thought that I had used all my frozen supplies but while doing a freezer dive the other night I found one left - score!I cooked the meat in a tiny drizzle of oil - and you can tell the mince packet is not lying when it says it is lean as there is no fattiness being cooked out. One might think that it makes the cooked mince dry and tasteless but I never find ...Ā MoreGreat tasting lean Pork Mince. One might think that it makes the cooked mince dry and tasteless but I never find that to be the case with this mince. So I browned the mince, added my pasta sauce - with a splash of red wine and had the finished meal for my lunch yesterday - with a sprinkle of cheese on top. It made about 4 servings so I have the other 3 frozen for when I next choose to have "freezer surprise" for a meal I thoroughly enjoyed my meal - even if I do say so myself. The pork is 100% Australian with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The price I think is very reasonable especially compared to other minces - lamb, beef. The tray is recyclable. I just noticed the pack state it is 5 servings (100g ea) That would be OK I guess for very small eaters or depending on what you serve WITH the mince to bulk it out. My "made up" 4 serves were just enough for me though. I highly recommend this mince and am definitely buying it again.
The best for spag bol/lasagne. used this when 1st came out, did not disappoint. I made my pasta sauce up, with onion, garlic, basil, capsicum, finely chopped mushrooms(for ones that don't like mushies)& diced bacon, slow cooked these till onion was clear. Cooked pork & Beef mince till crumbly, added the onion, gatlic mix, used 2x Italian diced tomatoe's & Passata sauce, a handful of W. Turned off to rest, until ready for meal. Exquisite and Tasty: Quality Lamb Mince. Using Lamb Mince for my recent kitchen adventure, I was pleasantly surprised by the superior quality and flavorful attributes it added to my dish. The lamb mince was used to prepare Greek meatballs, served with tzatziki, and the outcome was nothing short of delicious. The quality of this lamb mince is outstanding, with a fine, consistent texture that's perfect for molding into shapes like meatballs. It is lean, yet holds just enough fat to impart a beautiful depth of flavor when cooked. One can truly appreciate the meticulous selection process that ensures the mince remains fresh and of high quality. But the taste is where this lamb mince truly shines. It has a rich, robust flavor, distinctly lamb yet not overwhelmingly so. It holds its own in a mix of herbs and spices, allowing the natural lamb flavor to be savored with every bite. This was particularly noticeable in the Greek meatballs I prepared, where the mince melded harmoniously with the flavors, while still being distinct and noteworthy. Cooking with it was a breeze, as it browned evenly and didn't clump, creating perfectly textured meatballs. It also cooked relatively quickly, which is a bonus for those looking for high-quality ingredients that also save time in the kitchen. In conclusion, if you are seeking lamb mince that guarantees quality and flavor, this product should be your go-to. It brings the right balance of texture and taste, enhancing any dish it is added to, making every meal a memorable culinary experience.

Quite surprised! This was my Limited Release sample! At first I was a little bit hesitant as I really donāt go much on lamb mince, or any mince actually unless it is heart ā„ļø smart mince. This cost $7. 50 for 500g a little more expensive but well worth it. 85% meat, 15% fat. So I decided to make a healthy version of cottage pie with this mince, with a cauliflower mash. I fried off my onions, garlic, chilli, and mince, then added my diced carrots. Now normally mince makes me cringe a bit, as I really canāt stand the smell? But this one actually reminded me of a baked lamb! So I was actually looking forward to it. Meanwhile I cooked my cauliflower and blitzed it up in the food processor with some Parmesan cheese and a little bit of butter. Topped it off with some more cayenne pepper, chilli powder, pepper, and Parmesan cheese. Cooked it in the oven for about 20 minutes. Time to dish up! & oh yum āNow I served this up on a batch of mushy peas! & let me tell you this was so so yummy and delicious. The mince was by far the best mince I have ever had or purchased ever, and would happily purchase again. Normally I boil my mince first to take away all the extra fat first, & so I donāt have any extra residue afterwards as I donāt like the feeling of oil on the side of my mouth but as you can see by my pictures I didnāt do it here, & there wasnāt any oily residue at the end. I am extremely happy with this mince, and will continue to buy it. āThis is a 100 % product of Australia Tray & film both recycling ā»ļø BBD 27/05/23Thank you Bunch for giving me this wonderful opportunity to try this product, and yes I will definitely buy this again. Versatile Mince. I use this mince all the time and it's a family favourite! It's so versatile, lean and doesn't dry out like most other mince. This is the only mince I use at home and my family love it! I use it in my lasagna, taco's, meatballs, meatloaf, bolognaise, burgers, chilli con carne etc. My son always asks for any leftover pasta sauce to eat without the pasta he loves it that much. The fantastic thing about this mince is it's so versatile and can be used for so many things. I love how they have mixed both pork and beef together as beef on it's own can be dry and fatty this combination is just perfect! The packaging is good and the size is perfect. This price is very reasonable at only $6 for 500gms. This mince is made from 100% Australian pork and beef. ...Ā MoreVersatile Mince. I use this mince all the time and it's a family favourite! Porkaliscious indeed! We love Pork in our household so receiving this sample of lean pork mince was super exciting and it turned out to be rather porkaliscious indeed! I normally purchase beef mince predominately with chicken mince on the rare occasion and the only time I once purchased pork mince was with the normal version to make a meatloaf which turned out beyond horrendous which was probably more on my part being a new and quite frankly bad cook than the product however I never purchased pork mince again. I made some super zesty and tasty meatballs which my goodness I'm such a good cook I must say! We enjoyed them in some lovely grain rolls thanks to Woolies and I'm already planning the next cook with them in a luscious tomato sauce with pastaWith the price of $6 for the 500 gram packet I think I shall be purchasing this over beef mince as beef is more pricey and with less fat I really like this factor. My next dish is going to be some pork sheperds pie which I think will be yummy
