Woolworths Cashews Maple Flavoured 200g

Heavenly! Wow. These beat honey coated nuts any day of the week! I was expecting these to be sickly sweet, but the maple flavour is just right. I forgot I had these to pick up, so I ended up getting these *and* the salted cashews. I mixed them together for a sweet and salty taste sensation. While these are no doubt a fabulous treat find, I probably wouldn’t buy them on a regular basis. An expense that would be better spent on something else these days - but I will buy them for special occasions. Thanks Woolies!

Too good. A bit excited to get these cashews as a sample. I really liked that they were Maple flavoured. We shared them between the family and everyone loved them, they were so fresh and crunchy, even our Major Mitchell was looking for more even though she had her regular serve of fresh nuts for the day. The packaging was very attractive and easy to find in the snack aisle with the other bags of nuts. A HSR of 2. 5 is to be expected considering the coating and the fact that they are not an everyday thing. With a price of $5. 50 for 200g I would be happy to buy these again. Bit sweet for me but nice flavour. I found these too sweet but the kids loved them!! I think sharing them with others as part of a dessert plate, or sprinkled over icecream would be lovely but they aren’t something I could eat a lot of. They had a nice flavour, and were lovely crunchy nuts which was great. I thought the price for cashews was good as they are an expensive nut, which almost everyone likes. I would prefer a lightly salted nut rather than sweet so I would likely not buy again just for me - but if I was entertaining and wanted to put together a dessert plate then I think these would be perfect as they are a nice addition in small quantities.

Nuts for these nuts. These were so delicious. We all enjoyed them in t his house. They were sweet but with a salty flavour also from the actual nut. They were crunchy and the nuts were fresh and crisp. A different type of snack to enjoy watching TV. A few at a time and you are satisfied. You could definitely taste the Maple flavour it was subtle and pleasant. I love that the picture of the coated cashews on the packet is a really good depiction of the nuts they were very well coated which I loved. These are a definite repurchase, thanks for allowing us to try them.

So I told hubby while he went to put groceries into car I would go back into Woolworths to get sample. Went to nut aisle, easily found hanging up. Only a few packets left. Cost $5. 50. Headed back to fast checkout scanned then look on staff face when it come up free put a smile on my face and a bounce in my steps back to hubby and the car. After dinner put a small bowl out to try. I ate a few while hubby was in the shower. I found them sweet and sickly. Most probably wouldn’t eat again. These days I do prefer natural nuts. Hubby tried them and said they were sweet. Tastes like pancakes on a Sunday morning. OMG! These are absolutely amazing. Usually maple flavoured cashews are either too sweet, lack flavour or are rock hard and break your teeth. Not these. They smell like real maple syrup and the flavour is amazing. Tastes just like freshly made pancakes on a Sunday drizzled in maple syrup with a scoop of icecream and a dash of freshly whipped cream. Yum! And then they are the perfect amount of crunchy as you get the cashew part. Not overly hard to break your teeth. Absolutely delicious I'm not sure I can stop myself from eating the whole packet in one sitting. The packet in this photo looks bigger than the actual size of the packet but that was my only complaint.
