Woolworths Chicken Breast Kyiv 350g

Great Taste. I'm not really one for getting kiev's (or Kyiv's as they have named this ) as the garlic plays havoc with my auto-immune, however I gave these a crack. Very happy with the taste, garlic wasn't overwealming like some are, you could taste and yes it still played havoc with my auto-immune but the taste was worth it. The crumbs were also fantastic! crispy, crunchy and so brown, perfect!Will I buy this? absolutely

I was sceptical.... This was the best surprise ever. When I took the chicken pieces out of the box and felt a bone I was thinking I bet there's a rib bone in one and a thigh bone in the other held in by minced up offcuts of mysterious meat and fillers but no... I couldn't believe my eyes after I air fried them & cut into the crispy parcel containing an actual chicken, not nugget filling. The coating was golden and crispy all around and didn't even care if there was too much crumb or not because it was just so good!! I am a fan. Obviously it's not an every day food but it's 5 stars from me. And I will buy it in the future.

I cut off any tiny bits of fat and gave them to my cats who had come out of another room when they could smell the scent of chicken as I was dicing it up I eat chicken quite a bit so it was great to have this freebie. I mostly use it in casserole/slow cooker/pressure cooker recipes. With this sample I cooked a chicken & sweet potato curry that I've made a number of times - using my Bellini Supercook (Thermomix's cheaper but still amazing cousin). I had the chicken curry with some coconut rice. The chicken is 100% Aussie and RSPCA approved. Unless I couldn't see for looking - I couldn't find any evidence that the plastic tray was recyclable which is why a knocked off a star as I find that disappointing. Nice flavour. I am not a fan of Keiv with the bone in at the best of times but thought I'd try this one. I cooked it in the air fryer which cut the cooking time down by about 5 minutes. The crumb was crunchy as it should be. The chicken stayed moist and the garlic filling had not leaked like other brands I've had. As all keiv's with a bone, the dark blood did come through at the joint which is not pleasant visually but you can just scape it away. Overall it was tasty, a little on the small portion side but enough when having it with mash potatoe & beans. I would buy it again as it is in a good price point when on a tight budget.

Not a favourite. We love chicken Kyiv with a side of mash potatoes and broccoli, it’s a regular meal for us but we normally use Kyiv’s from the butcher. We were looking forward to trying these out to compare as it would be nice to keep in the freezer for the odd occasion we need something quick to whip up. unfortunately my husband and I weren’t super impressed with the quality of the meat, the flavour was ok but could be better. We weren’t fans of it containing bone either. we probably won’t purchase these again but loved the opportunity to try them.

Woolworths Chicken Breast Kyiv 350g. Not a freebie, but good product regardless. Good easy meal to whip up in a hurry. Cheaper and quicker than getting takeaway. Cooks quickly in airfryer for nice crunch. Only downer is just 2 in a pack so need at least 2 packets for family or 3 if you want leftovers for next day lunches. Always handy to have a few packs in freezer ready to go. Another 5/5 Product.

Flavoursome and delicious. Chicken Breast meat is the best cut of chicken meat you can buy, because it’s low in fat and it’s healthier for us too.. So this product isn’t new to us as we’ve also purchased it before. With 2 large sized breast pieces in the packet… The Chicken Breast meat was extremely fresh and light pinkish in colour. By also using my Evaporated Milk, sample I made a delicious “Chicken Vegetable Casserole” This Chicken Breast meat was easy to cut and it also cooked through in no time too. So would like to thank bunch for this sample as we immensely enjoyed the delicious and flavoursome taste of this Chicken Breast in the Casserole as it tasted amazingly delicious.

Quality healthy lean meat meal. Gave these to my sister who put them to good use. Made a tasty meal using the chicken fillets stuffed with mushrooms, onions, onion powder, and red/yellow capsicum, pan fried and served with another sample of Woolworths sugar snap peas and a small salad. (She is cooking one handed due to broken elbow so cooking and plating up presents challenges) Thoroughly enjoyed, tasty and tender. Very happy with quality, sample serving size offered and the taste. Australian chicken, RSPCA Approved farming. Thanks Woolworths for the sample, these are another good budget option meal.

Weekly staple. Given I eat chicken salad almost every night, to receive this chicken breast sample was just fabulous, thank you Bunch! Found in the meat department, this chicken breast was easy to locate. The only downside is that I usually buy the 1kg+ bulk pack, so a much smaller package but perfect for those needing a ‘one dinner’ weight of chicken breasts. The packaging was easy to open and house two lovely uniform sized breasts inside. What I loved about this chicken was that it needed minimal trimming, so you’re getting great value for money. Most nights I just pan fry chicken (that’s been tossed in soy sauce) and add to a salad. This sample was perfect for that! I cannot recommend this chicken highly enough. Easy meal perfect to have on hand in the freezer! Perfect to have on hand in the freezer as an easy back up meal for when one’s time poor or just can’t be bother to make anything else!The big plus - convenience. About 20mins in the air fryer and its all ready! Paired with a salad or veges and mash, this makes for a simple weeknight meal that will do the job! The only comment to make is that the product is made from at least 80% of Australian ingredients - this should be 100% in my opinion!The packet costs $7 for two servings. If feeding a large family this could become expensive!
