Woolworths Corn Sweet Kernels 420g

Price is good. Hubby came home with these corn kernels when I sent him out with a shopping list. I used the corn kernels in a mince mix for my nachos and they worked well. The corn is lovely and sweet and as I didn't need the whole can for the dish I was making, I scooped out a couple of spoons and ate. Lovely and sweet. Price is good at $1 for the 420g can. The name brand is. 90c more for the same size. Product of Thailand. I did take one star of for this. But I note that the name brand is currently being sourced from Thailand also due to shortages of Australian corn, apparently.

Very pleasant fresh taste and not artificially sweet. I was really happy this with this canned corn. It tasted just as it should, like fresh corn has been placed into a can, without making it taste super sweet. The corn wasn't bland tasting either, it was perfect and I have bought it again to use in various recipes.

OK alternative. Corn kernels are a staple in our house so we were keen to try these. Easy to open with a ring pull, and even once drained, there was plenty of corn. The colour is a little more pale than the bright yellow I'm used to but the flavour was pleasant and the kernels were firm. They have no added salt - which is great if you're limiting your intake. Unfortunately for me, these kernels are not Australian grown so I won't be likely to buy them.

Great Value! I am not usually one for using tinned fruit and vegetables, I used this in a tuna mornay rather than frozen and loved it! they were a similar consistency i the meal and had a delicious sweet pop of flavor when eating! I tried a couple directly fro the tin and think these would be a great addition to a salad also. Yum! I will add them to my shopping list in the future for sure.

Cheap, convenient pantry staple. Flavour - Delicious and sweet, comparable to branded versions. Texture - Has the perfect bite to it, what you would expect from fresh corn kernelsPrice - $1 is value for money, perfect to add into a salad mix for extra veggies. Serving - I like to add these corn kernels in chicken and sweet corn soup and salad mixes. Packaging - Easy to open with a pull and peel lid, no need for can openers. I have been buying these canned corn kernels for a while now. No need to wait for the branded version to go on sale. Wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two so I will continue to repurchase and be happy to recommend it to family and friends.

Nice tasting corn. This is not a sample but I have used it before. The corn tastes great, it’s easy to use in a variety of recipes such as chicken and corn soup, salads. I’ve also used it as a side dish with other vegetables. The only downside of this corn is that it’s product of Thailand. At $1. 00 per 420g tin it’s good value

Quick and easy. We go through a lot of corn in this house, its one of the few vegetables both my girls will eat. The Woolworths canned sweet corn was quick and easy to cook as a side dish, I even sent a little to daycare with my 1 year old as the vegetable part of her lunchbox, that compartment came back empty, so I'm assuming no complaints there!I usually use frozen kernels/cobs but find not handy to have cans at times where freezer space is minimal. I will be switching to the Woolworths brand from the name brand I usually purchase.

Great value. Good, fresh tasting corn. Tastes less sweet than some other brands due to the lack of added sugar, preferred this Woolworths corn for that reason. Great price at only one dollar for a tin. Used it in burritos, charred with onion and capsicum as well. Could find plenty of things to use it in. Highly recommend.

Short Cut With Sweet Corn! I utilised the corn to make mini quiches. The corn was lovely in texture and nicely sweet, complementing the other ingredients. This product has made me less hesitant to always resorting to bbq, boiling or baking fresh corn to utilise in meals. I appreciated the clearly visible 5 star health rating, swaying me to not feel “bad” in utilising a canned product, when time poor. The tin was easy to open and I found the 420g, as the perfect amount :)

Crunchy and fresh. Firstly, I love the packaging. Really funky and bright. Price is great at just one dollar. Usually I buy 4 little cans as I find it keeps the corn fresher for my work week lunches. In contrast the sweetcorn was super fresh and crisp I dont think I need to go back to using 4 little cans. Product of Thailand, this definetly influences my decision to purchase.
