Regular Purchase! I really enjoy cream cheese. It is delicious bagels, focaccias, toast, crumpets, croissants and rice cakes. It pairs particularly beautifully with smoked salmon. This product is packaged securely but is still straightforward to open. Its simple blue and white packaging is eye-catching and easy to distinguish in the store's refrigerator. This cream cheese spreads easily and has a deliciously smooth and creamy texture. It comes with quite a generous use-by date although it frequently disappears from our house well before that date rolls around! At just $3. 10 for 250g, it represents far better value than other brands available. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Suitable for vegetarians. Australian made with 98% Australian ingredients. ... MoreRegular Purchase! I really enjoy cream cheese. stumped! Must be consumed within 7 days of opening. This is a nice compact size and not too difficult to consume within the time limit. TBH I haven’t bought cream cheese since Uni days. It was our go to ‘poverty students snack’ ... it went a long way…. cream cheese with Vegemite and crackers. I gave that a go and …yeah! … it tastes just as good! Some of it I used to make an omelette! And…Ohhhh remember how popular salmon on bagel, capers and cream cheese used to be? I had my first one at Indiana’s Tea Rooms in its early hey days. That’s what I’ll be making next before the 7 days are up. Very useful standby item. Thanks Woolies for resurrecting the memories.

Great on toast/bagels. I was really happy to receive this sample, used to eat cream cheese on toast as a teenager and haven't really done so for years so it brought back memories! This sample inspired me to buy some bagels and I enjoyed the cream cheese on the bagels with smoked salmon and capers, we also had some with ham, both were delicious. It's nice and easy to spread. The product was easy to find with other cream cheese, I would actually like to see in a larger tub size perhaps 500g rather than 250g as it didn't last very long but then again I do like a generous serve. The tub itself was very plastic heavy, not too sure if there's a better way of doing it though! All in all, will definitely buy again (although it doesn't really fit into my healthy eating plan!)
Very impressed. This cream cheese is very tasty and so versatile. I like that it is made from 98% Australian ingredients. The Health Star Rating is very low at. 5 but the Low Fat version carries a 2. 5 HSR which would be a much healthier option. I used my sample to make a smoked oyster dip, which was enjoyed by all. Another favourite of mine would be to pair the cream cheese with thinly sliced smoked salmon, dill and capers layered on a Ryvita. I'm also partial to serving cream cheese by setting on a serving platter, make a big dent in the middle and drizzling either sweet chilli sauce or some Worcestershire sauce into the dent. Delicious with crackers. Great pricing at just $2. 60 per 250g tub. I'm looking forward to trying the 'Light' version when it comes back ... MoreVery impressed. Try this cheese instead of branded products. ✅⭐️This is a cream cheese that I would often buy, ⭐️✅Easy to find in the fridge section✅Good value pricing $2. 60 for 250 gram tub✅Made with Australian milk and cream ✅ Made with at least 98% Australian ingredients ✅ Vegetarian ✅Recyclable packaging ✅ Smooth, creamy taste✅ Easy to spread❗️0. 5 ⭐️ Health rating ( explains why it’s so deliciously creamy ) ✅ I use this cream cheese for making cheesecakes and it works perfectly. Also perfect for wraps, sandwiches and adding while cooking. ✅Definitely a product that I will continue to buy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️I highly recommend you buy this instead of branded cream cheese. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
It's OK, but it's not "Philly"! When one thinks of cream cheese, the undoubted market leader ir "Philadelphia". Equally, the block forms of cream cheese are usually more flavoursome than the 'spreadable' varieties in tubs, so for two reasons; this would not normally be our 'first choice' cream cheese for putting out at dinner parties. On the upside, the 'Woolworths Brand" options of both types of cream cheese are generally around HALF the price of the big brand Philadelphia stuff, so there are definite savings to be made if one can find uses for this product. We will almost always choose to use this (the 'Woolworths Own') brand whenever we are using the cream cheese in cooking (for cheesecakes, in baking, or even a dob in our scrambled eggs), but if it is to be for ... This definitely is a damned good product though, and very reasonably priced for sure.
Makes a yummy dip. This is my 3rd cheese sample in a row and given 2 of the 4 of us is dairy intolerant, I wasn't sure if I would accept this sample. That is till my wonderful mother came up with the idea of making dip! So I bought a packet of French onion soup and the cream cheese, mixed them together and I had dip. I really was surprised at just how easy this was. Admittedly I will leave it out before trying to stir it next time. Bonus feature - I can reuse the tub for the dip! At $2. 60 for 250g it works out almost the same price as a bought dip. The 2 dip lovers got stuck into it and loved it. It makes me wonder what other dips I can make for them now. With 98% Australian ingredients and both tub and lid being ♻️ this is a winner for us.
You can use this to make keto Crepes! Hear me out, 1 tub of cream cheese, 8 eggs, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon, 4 tablespoons stevia - put all in a bowl and use an immersion blender to blend until perfectly smooth. Have some non-stick vegetable spray handy and spray a pan put on medium heat. Pour in 1/4 cup at a time for a perfectly thin crepe. Rotate the pan so the liquid covers the entire bottom of skillet in a very thin layer. Wait until bubbles appear on top and should be ready to flip. Pro-tip, if you're not that talented at flipping all at once, these will allow you to flip just a bit at a time with your spatula, like rolling up a sponge roll, to make a perfect rolled crepe in about 1 minute per crepe. Serve with fresh berries or full fat cream or even sugar free ... MoreYou can use this to make keto Crepes! Cream Cheese Convert. It had been several years since I had eaten cream cheese. It was usually a different type of cream cheese from a different brand. So I was unsure how this one would taste... I was pleasantly surprised. The flavour was delicious. It had a subtle cheese taste. We tried it spread on toast or fresh bread, by itself or with other ingredients such as ham and tomato. This cream cheese is quite a versatile product and could replace butter spreads in some sandwiches. The tub of cheese had lasted quite a while. At $2. 90 a tub, it is quite good value. This product would definitely make a regular appearance on future shopping lists.
