Great mixer. This tonic water was a great price. Great as a mixer for cocktails and gin and personally I couldnāt tell the difference of diet or not so great for those wanting sugar free option. Taste wise a little salty and not the best option that I have tasted although I must admit tonic water is not a favourite of mine. 10 cent recyclable refund is always a winner. Would I buy again? Not often as not my choice of drink but good for those on a budget that enjoy tonic water. Thanks for allowing me to try.

Itās a mixer for my gin & tonic . Tonic water is a carbonated beverage and it has a somewhat bitter taste and fizzy. Tonic water is mainly used as a mixer with gin or vodka. Can be consumed on its own, but not something I would drink straight from the bottle. To me itās no different in taste, as the named brand diet tonic water. The price is the major difference. If you donāt like tonic water, you can add some to fresh cut flowers to keep them fresh for longer, or use to make scones in place of lemonade. Tonic. So I've never tried tonic water before... and it seems one of the only bunchies who doesnt enjoy a G+T haha I always just assumed it would taste like mineral water or soda.... but then I relised its sugar content. I dont usually drink sugary drinks so I decided I'd like have some mouthfuls after meals (as I always crave something sweet after eating). The mouthful is nice and sweet. But then as I swallow the after taste hits and it brings me back to my early 20's drinking lemon ruskies (which I was never a fan of but they always seemed to be cheap). I don't need to worry about over drinking the sugary drink as that after taste does it for me.... It does have a strong taste, which from the sounds of it is on par with other brands.... its just not my cup of tea. ...Ā MoreTonic. I'm only 1/3 the way through ... but I don't like waste so it will get drunk.... if anything it stops me from over doing it with something sweet after meals.... I did notice the diet version next to it on the shelf when picking this up so thats an option for those who don't consume much sugar like me. It was easy to find on the shelf. Lable is plain but appealing. Like I said its stayed bubbly. 75c you can't go wrong with that price as its remarkably cheaper than the other brands, although at that price I still won't be purchasing again due to my taste buds ... but if I was having a party and had gin on offer id get this for the mixer.

A Bar Staple. A staple at our house as we are gin drinkers (hubby more than me) but for me, itās always in the bar because of the health benefits tonic has for cramps, restless legs and leg spasticity. Anything that may help my MS is worth a try. I can confirm it helps me a little bit. We use to make our tonic with our Soda stream but no longer do as this is better flavoured. This tonic is truly as good as any other top branded tonic. Itās bubbly and refreshing and nice with a squeeze of fresh lemon, lime or with a tablespoon of blackcurrent cordial. Hubby says he loves it the best on a hot day, glass full of ice, a shot of gin and a wedge of lime, topped up with cool tonic. I had to laugh at him as he was so enthusiastic telling me about drinking Woolworths tonic ...Ā MoreA Bar Staple. Not that bad at all. I love a good G&T, and was certainly happy to be given this sample and the subsequent excuse to treat myself. I was a little sceptical about the quality of a 75 cent bottle of store own tonic water, but found myself pleasantly surprised. The tonic water tasted like most other big brands on the market. There was a good amount of fizz, and it kept well in the fridge for a few days. I couldn't tell that it was diet when consuming actual drink, however did notice quite an artificial aftertaste. I'm not sure what is worse, an artificial aftertaste of the diet beverage or the strong sweetness of the full strength sugar version. Tastes like lemonade. Iāve never had Tonic water before so I canāt compare the diet version to the non diet version. Iām not much of an alcohol drinker so gin and tonic was out of the question for me so I decided to just try it on itās own. It was very bubbly and fizzy, much like a soft drink. When I tasted it I was surprised by the sweetness of it, but to me it tasted very much like lemonade which I was not expecting at all. It was similar to the flavour of flat lemonade but with fizz. I actually didnāt mind it, but I couldnāt drink much of it, as it gets a bit sickly. I wonder if this could be used in scones like lemonade can? I might have to give it a try. My question however is⦠is this actually diet tonic water? The back of the label says itās diet tonic water ...Ā MoreTastes like lemonade. Mine didnāt seem bitter at all. So Iām just a little confused. I like that itās made in Australia from at least 99% Australian ingredients and itās so cheap at only $0. 75cI like that the label is eye catching with the yellow mixed drink on front against the grey background. I guess they had to add some colour. It would be great if a product like this one had a serving suggestion on it since i doubt many people drink it on its own and again I only think of gin and tonic, so another non alcoholic suggestion on what you can do with it would be nice. I donāt think I would purchase this one again unless I could figure out more ways to use it for.
Diet Tonic Water. Firstly, I do not normally drink tonic, soda or lemonade, so I cannot really make a comparison to other brands. Previously we had normal tonic water to taste and try from the Bunch sample and made a simple jam and cream scones using the tonic water. A basic design bottle of grey and yellow label that blends in with the other products on the shelves. I had tasted the tonic water on its own. It was bubbly, a little acidy in taste and little bland. I then added a few slices of lime. The taste was not much different and it was more acidy and not much bubbles, I guess it was not made for it to taste like normal soft drink. Overall, it was Ok, but really not for my palate. I would really not buy it again. Good to see and read it was Australian made with ...Ā MoreDiet Tonic Water. Love it. I buy this product all the time. It is the best tasting Tonic Water - on par with Schweppes (who possibly make it anyway - sshhhh) So, a bonus to receive a free bottle. I do notice a few changes. The bottle itself looks clearer, is slightly curved, has a ring pattern around the lower part and now wears a green cap instead of black. The label has new information - 'New Recipe' (I did not notice any change in taste - still fresh and crisp with that unmistakeable Tonic Water taste that I love) and now has a higher health star rating. On reading the Nutrition Information table, I see this 'new recipe' has way less sodium - that's a good thing and the calorie count has increased from 3 to 4 - but that equates to 1 calorie per 100ml so all good. BUT one thing stood out for me. The new label does not state ''No added sugar' on the front label as the 'old' label does. Those words have been replaced by 'Refreshing'. If I'm choosing a 'diet' soft drink I want no added sugar and want it to clearly state that on the front of the bottle.
