Quality Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I have purchased this high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil before and it compares on every level to the other brands of this quality. It is worthy of using on its own for dipping crusty bread, and also perfect for dressings. The taste is fresh, rich and delicious and the huge 1 litre bottle has a long use by date (April 2024). Thank you Bunch for this great sample to review! After receiving the 500ml Essentials Olive Oil to review recently, I’m feeling well stocked up! I will happily purchase the Extra Virgin Olive Oil again and again and will gladly recommend it to others!

Good Oil. A very versatile oil. It has a light flavour which doesn't overpower the food yet adds a little flavour. A little watery but that doesn't affect its performance and actually enables easier spreading even before heating. Great price compared to other brands. Just a shame it's not Australian. Still definitely buy again unless Australian brand is on a super sale and comparable in price.

The oil we use. Thank you bunch for this wonderful sample of Spanish extra virgin olive oil. We regularly buy this oil except in the 1 litre bottle as it is more economical that way. But I’ll happily take this 500ml bottle too We routinely use this oil when cooking and frying things rather than any vegetable oil. Today we used it to cook some pork medallions and prawns . Yesterday I used some to make some pearl couscous. I always find it to be a lovely taste and mild in flavour although It is classed as having a robust flavour with a 3/3 rating. So I’m not sure how that is scored. I am no connoisseur of olive oil though I like the green plastic used for the bottle which probably helps to protect the olive oil from too much light. You get what you pay for. Thank you Bunch for this sample. Easily located with the other Olive Oils, this is labelled Robust Flavour 100% Spanish Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive, with No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives, an HSR of 3 and costing $4 for 500mls. I teamed it with Dukkah on a tasting plate. There was nothing I liked about this Olive Oil which was a pale colour, without the characteristic fruity smell, no peppery buttery taste, it was thin without viscosity and it had a bitter aftertaste. It was difficult to open the bottle using the loop seal, a pourer spout would make it easier to control the flow of oil and optimum storage of Olive oil is in a dark glass bottle not plastic. After opening the screw top did not seal properly. Woolworths ...Ā MoreYou get what you pay for. Thank you Bunch for this sample. Thank you Woolworths and bunch for the opportunity to sample and review this Spanish Olive Oil but it will not be a purchase for me.

Liquid Gold EVOO. I’m excited to try the WW 1L bottle of 100% Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil. I remember as a child the taste of olive oil in my salads and in mums baking. Now my family really enjoy the EVOO flavour in my cooking, salads and various recipes. I used to purchase the 4 litre tin of EVOO but the prices have become too expensive as discussed herePrior to picking up the 1L green tinted bottle I initially thought it was made of glass but to my surprise it was a recyclable plastic bottle. So much lighter in weight and I really don’t mind as I was used to buying it in a tin before. Under the screw top cap there is a plastic pull ring which easily lifts to reveal that wonderful aromatic smell of 100% Spanish cold pressed olives. I still have some left of the branded Spanish EVOO I used to buy and compared it to the WW Spanish EVOO. I can honestly say the smell, colour, texture/viscosity/mouthfeel and flavour was so similar I could not tell the difference. From a price comparison the WW brand comes out in front:1L bottle of WW Spanish EVOO costs $11 ($1. 10/100ml)1L bottle of Moro Spanish EVOO costs $18($1. 80/100ml) or 3L $48($1. 20/100ml)With my sample I fried up some Chicken Schnitzel and home baked fresh potato chunky chips. When our friends popped in they enjoyed fresh crusty ciabatta loaf for dipping into the EVOO with WW glaze balsamic vinegar and dukkah. (see pic below). I was in WW the other day at the deli counter and I overheard a staff member complimenting a lady in front of me on her skin complexion and the lady replied that she has been using olive oil for years on her face and skin. It bought back memories of my grandmother who used to do the same. Thank you for this wonderful sample and for the opportunity to review it. I would definitely purchase this product. Like everyone I always lookout for the best quality but also the best price.

Great value olive oil. I was lucky to get this product as a bonus sample, thanks Bunch! At $10/L it's great value (pretty much half the price compared to the bottle of Australian olive oil I have in the cupboard). It was very easy to find on the shelf. Taste wise I do notice it has a more bitter flavour compared to the one I'm using at the moment. And colour wise it looks slightly lighter. I don't mind the fact that the packaging is plastic, at least the lid goes back on properly unlike another brand I'd purchased before, I think it was Squeaky Gate brand that the lid never seemed to go back on nice and tight and it was in a glass bottle. Being from Spain the best before date isn't as long as the locally produced ones but is still pretty long (March 2024 on my ...Ā MoreGreat value olive oil. Being from Spain the best before date isn't as long as the locally produced ones but is still pretty long (March 2024 on my bottle) but really once you open olive oil it shouldn't be sitting in the cupboard for anywhere near that long anyway. The flavour difference isn't huge but I think for drizzling, dressings and that kind of stuff I will still buy the better quality local Australian product, also because I do prefer to buy local produce and support the local producers / companies etc where possible... but obviously within reason, I tend to try and buy when they're on a good special otherwise it certainly is a lot more expensive. This imported Spanish olive oil definitely seems to be great quality especially at that price point. For baking and that kind of stuff I don't think I would really notice the difference compared to more expensive brands. This product is certainly the way to go if you're on a budget or if you use a lot of olive oil in your cooking.

A great olive oil. There was a supply issue when trying to locate this bottle of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, none of the local Woolworths had it in stock. But worth the wait. The oil is a product of Spain, packaged in Australia and comes with a 3 star rating. It is packaged in a plastic square bottle, which has a recycling symbol as a reminder to dispose in the recycling after use. The design of the bottle was great to hold, different not having glass. I would recommend an upgrade to the cap and the way it pours out of the bottle. Too much comes out and it cant be controlled easily. Also our cap does not seal tightly, being a plastic lid it spins round and round and would not be an ideal item on a picnic/ bbq as it might pop off and leak. Oils aren't oils. Who hasn’t in this world heard or used olive oil?Another versatile product that is open to one’s imagination and design on what and how you use it and really, a main ingredient in any kitchen. Great for dipping bread, salad, pasta, meat and as I learnt from the chef Adrian Richardson (Secret Meat Business), splash a little oil on the meals at the end to make it gleam and shine such as salad and meat. He would be proud of me. Olive oil is a healthy dietary need with health benefits (the good fat) where it is widely used in Spain, Italy, Greece and Turkey. Not only is it used for cooking, frying, dressing, BBQ, good for your hair, skin, soaps, squeaky door, unstick zippers, medicine, dust from furniture, etc. Heard drinking it straight does wonders ...Ā MoreOils aren't oils. In a green plastic bottle (which is a little strange as I only know of sunflower and peanut oil in clear plastic bottles, the rest come in glass). Just look as professional with the other products. Surprised to see the Health Rating is only 3 stars. My oils do not have a rating chart. What’s going on?I normally use Bertolli and Cobram (it is expensive but made in Australia). The nutrition Info are all about the same, give or take a few mg’s here and there. Good value for money. You cannot possibly go wrong with this product for whatever purpose you use it.

Wonderful taste and value for money. Having grown up using olive oil all of my life, I am very accustomed to the various different brands and tastes. I was fortunate enough to try a free sample of this product to taste, and I am very glad for the opportunity. I primarily used the product as a dressing on steamed vegetables so that I could taste the unique flavour, without the oil being obscured by other stronger flavours. I really enjoyed the depth of the flavour, which enhanced the taste of what would be plain steamed vegetables. The taste is very much comparable to other brand names, but at a cheaper price. I definitely would buy this product again and have already recommended it to family members.
