Buy this cake right now!! What a whopper of a cake! Huge!! Not too sweet and quality ingredients. I would never normally buy a cake from a supermarket but this one has totally converted me. Such rich chocolaty flavours and enough for a crowd. Highly recommend. This is now my go to cake.

Sweet. My sister purchased this cake for my birthday. It was handy to walk into the store and buy a cake for under $30. $29 price. It was very sugary and the icing was rich. The little crispy balls add a little bit of texture to it. The cake is a bit dry but adding cream gives it more flavour. The chocolate message plate is a nice touch. It was a full on cake and definitely had the taste of being cooked commercially in order to last a long time. The 3 of us weren’t too excited by it.

Great tasting cake. This is the second time I’ve used the cake and it’s lovely. Im not usually a cake person as I find them too sweet, but this has a great flavour without being overpowering or sickly (like the $5 mudcakes). The little gold balls are also really good. Kids all love this and at $29 for a celebration cake it’s great value compared to others. Will definitely buy again.

Had to ask where they bought it. We had this at work on Friday for a birthday and I asked which cake shop they bought it from as it was so good. I didn't think it could be from Woolworths or Coles. It presents well with a happy birthday circle made from white chocolate on top and chocolate blobs on the top around one side of the cake. The cake has a soft and fluffy chocolate sponge layered with smooth buttercream, topped with a Belgian dark chocolate drip and chocolate ganache. The taste is perfect not too sweet and you don't need a large piece to be satisfied.

Decadent lusciousness. The quality, taste and price of this cake is fantastic and rivals the cakes in the named cake shops. The health rating is as it should be ... low... because this is after all a one off sometimes food. Totally recyclable packaging. The fact that it is so rich make is go a lot further as each person will only have a small piece. Definitely buy this one again

Great Taste and Value. This 1. 4 kg cake is a chocolate lovers dream and definitely will not disappoint. This cake was delicious, moist and not too sweet. The cake is great value at $29, we have tried the other varieties previously and they are also great. If Woolworths could bring out a white chocolate mud cake, then the range would be complete.

Delicious! I purchased this yesterday for my son’s 18th birthday and it didn’t disappoint! Tasted absolutely delicious and very fresh. Long best before date ( 9 days) but I’m sure it won’t last that long at my house! Made in Australia from at least 68% Australia ingredients. All of the packaging is recyclable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a delicious birthday cake at a reasonable price.

Oh My Lordy. Thank you so much bunch this cake is amazing so beautiful it was hard to stop at one piece. What can I say it is one of the best cakes I have ever tasted. To look at this cake you would think it had come from a fancy Cake shop. Good on you Woolworths for selling such a Beautiful amazing looking tasting cake at a great price. Birthday Treat. I was lucky to pick this up for my belated birthday family get together. It was so fresh, moist and tasty. Perfect combination of flavours, not too sweet and was a hit with the whole family. Plenty of leftovers and loved that it has a ‘happy birthday’ plaque on it. Very well priced and will be buying this again for our next family celebration.
