Great salt product. Love that this salt is fine rather than really coarse - makes it easier to flavour dishes without adding too much. the size of the pack is great, nice and large so it lasts for ages. My only critique is that the bag seal broke after a few uses and itâs really awkward getting the salt out of the bag. I think a nice glass shaker or just a paper packet that can be tipped into a Tupperware container would be perfect. Overall, the product is comparable to other, more costly products and so I would recommend others give it a try.

Great product! I easily found my sample on the shelf. The bright pink colour makes it really noticeable. The images are soothing, both at the front and back. Product of Pakistan. No stars are shown. It contains Pink Himalayan salt and has a longer than two years shelf-life. Easy to open and resealable. I always use pink salt, but so far I've only bought the rock one, that I then grind myself. Having it already grinded, and so finely, is so nice and usefulAt $3 per kilo, it has a very good price too, so I am definitely going to buy it again. I used it continuously preparing my meals at home, and I am very happy with it. I filled my salt shaker so I always have it at hand. Thank you so much for the sample!

Himalayan Salt, Pretty Pink. We usually buy Himalayan rock salt or white rock salt - no nasty additives. Love this salt, although it is not made in Australia - Pakistan has the monopoly on Himalayan salt! So really it is a product that is used and needed and we can't produce... Himalayan salt is great to use in cooking or as table salt. It is a regular on our table. We find no difference between using it or white salt. The only thing I would say that I wouldn't use it for is if you make homemade saline solution ..... when I used this Himalayan salt in the past it has been colourful, but not so clear as white rock salt. It was useable though. Thank you bunch for the great sample!
Salt is salt. Thanks bunch for this Himalayan Pink fine table salt sample. I wasnât quite sure what to expect but I thought it would be a bit fancy since it was pink in colour and Himalayan! I may have written something similar for another bunch salt sample and I apologise for my ignorance regarding salt, but how different can salt taste? The packaging is very appealing with its pink colour scheme matching the colour of the salt. And very simple extra herbs and oil pictured as well. I like that it states â100% natural and unrefinedâ I liked that there was a clear window on either side of the pack to see the actual salt within. The pack tore open easily and I like that there is a resealable ziplock feature to the bag as well. The salt was indeed quite fine in size. I ... MoreSalt is salt. The pack tore open easily and I like that there is a resealable ziplock feature to the bag as well. The salt was indeed quite fine in size. I was half expecting it to be pink flakes of salt. The texture of the salt when rubbed between my fingertips was slightly moist and this could be due to the fact that there is no anti caking agent added. It is purely 100% pink Himalayan salt â Iâm glad that I read the back of the pack which suggested using it sparingly to season dishes. I took a little taste test of some salt and it was VERY salty and strong so you really wouldnât need to use much. We sprinkled this salt on sparingly to some pork medallions and it gave them an adequate flavour. I wonât be needing to buy any of this salt again for a long time as the 1kg bag will last me for years to come Product of Pakistan Best before date of nearly 3 years â Priced at $3 for 1kg is very good value â I couldnât see any symbols indicating whether the plastic bag is redcycleable but I assume it would be. ââď¸In the end salt is still salt and apart from just how salty it was, it tastes just like I expect salt to taste
My go-to salt for everyday cooking. I have been using this salt for all my cooking, well, almost all The family likes the taste and colour, but I do opt for plain white salt when I am making something which is plain white (e. g. coconut cream) which I like to keep its pure white colour. I've learned from experience that adding this salt gives it a slight pink taint to it. I haven't marked the product down for this because all pink salts would have the same effect. Other factors I love about the product are its value for money and that it is in a convenient, resealable packaging.
It's salt and cheap for what it is. As in the title, it's salt, and pretty cheap considering the miles the salt has travelled to get to our shores. I would like see some more products offered which might take advantage of the local salt industry e. g. Murray-Darling River salt, which is also pink with minerals, even if it might be a little pricier. Support our local industries. One concern with people replacing all their salt with e. g. Himalyan salts, instead of using sea salt or iodised table salt, is potential iodine deficiencies. But that is up to people's choices with respect to diet.
Nice Table Salt. The Woolworths Himalayan Pink Fine Table Salt 1kg is a generous sized packet. Tight resealable bag, fine grind and a good table salt. I do not like to cook with this salt as it gives off a sulphur smell and taste. The salt has very little odor in the packet and it is only when it is added to food and cooked that the smell becomes apparent. I try to use iodised salt as we need that extra in our diets. Thanks The Bunch for giving me the chance to try this salt. Would recommend it for people who use non iodised salt.
Nicer than my usual rock salt. I tasted this beside my normal salt and I prefer the taste to this one. I added it to my grinder (even though it is fine and doesnât need grinding I like the packaging - the heavy duty plastic of the resealable bag will last the distance. The viewing window so I can see whatâs left and the volume will last me a long time! I like the pink colouring for something a little different. Very likely will buy in the future
Great staple for the pantry. Tastes great and is perfect for seasoning chips. I will not have to buy salt for a while as it has a long expiry date and I only use it sparingly. Love that it said âIt is free from added chemicals, food additives and anti-caking agentsâ on the back of the packaging. The packaging was easy to open, and the resealable pack is perfect for storage. The clear sections in the packaging allow you to see when the contents are getting low. I had no trouble finding the salt in my local Woolworths store. Really good value for money, will buy again.
