Woolworths Himalayan Pink Salt Refill 500g

Pakistani ingredients packed in South Africa. I only need Australian salt not salt that's more travelled than me. This quantity will probably last me the rest of my life so I hope salt doesn't go off. Edit:When I tried to dissolve one teaspoon of this in hot water I was left with undissolved pink residue. Salt should dissolve completely. I tried to crush some of the bigger bits and they did crush eventually. They didn't taste like salt at all.

Inexpensive and good quality. The himalayan salt was inexpensive compared to other brands, and good quality. The 500g for the price feels like a bargain. Compared to the other brands, the salt is a bit less refined, but not noticeable when dissolved in cooking. Only issue is you needed a new salt grinder to be able to use this - i had a old grinder bottle that i ended up topping up with the himalayan pink salt. It's meant to be a healthier alternative to normal salt, and the saltiness level, i feel, is approximately the same.

Pretty Pink. The salt comes in a sturdy resealable zip lock bag which makes it easy to store the unused salt. The salt crystals are of a good size and the pink colour makes it look great in a salt grinder. It is packed in South South Africa, with ingredients from Pakistan. Other than using it for cooking, you can use the pretty pink salt as a bath soak, toothpaste & or even gargling to ease a sore throat. Fun fact: there are traces of minerals in Himalayan pink salt & it's the mineral iron oxide that makes it pink.

Awesome pink Himalayan salt! I love Himalayan salt. We use this as its low sodium. Love the pink colour n all the healthy components. Was looking for this particular one with ( S ) on its packet. Well not at the bottom with all other brand Woolies. SAXA. But.......... It at the very top. In its cute 500g ziplock bag.. its on sale so I bought 3 more bags. Had stir fry tonight. Decorative salt. Pink and pretty, I love the colours in this salt sample. The resealable packet seals well, to keep the contents dry and fresh. I found it interesting that Himalayan salt was shipped to South Africa for packaging. Why not package locally? The salt tasted like salt, which, as others have said, is what you’d expect. I’d buy this product.

Nice Flavour. This salt tastes different to normal table salt. It tastes like some salty things that's packed with nice flavours. Sometimes when I fancy something salty but don't want to eat any other salty junk food, I just pop 1 little grain of this salt into my mouth. I can guarantee you it satisfies my taste bud without ruining my waistline. Sometimes i put it in soups, it doesn't need much and this 500g pack would last for a long time as it's rich in flavour. I will switch to this salt instead of normal table salt in cooking.

Great Salt. W heave always preferred the pink salt, it looks great in the grinder! As for this option it’s a good sized convenient packet, lasts a good while in our home and stays fresh in the bag which is super important. Price point is good and I like that we don’t have to keep buying new shakers we can just refill them. Would be 5 star if it was actually made and produced in the Himalayas.

Himalayan Pink Salt Refill in a Resealable Bag. We don’t use much salt, so the samples I’ve had will probably last a lifetime! However, this product comes in a convenient resealable zip-lock bag, keeping the salt fresh and dry. It’s perfect to have on hand for easy refills. The pink crystals look so pretty in the salt grinder. While it’s still just salt at the end of the day, at $3. 50, it’s definitely worth the price. If I ever do run out of salt, I’d definitely buy this one again.

Attractive salt at an affordable price. Reasonable price for the size and great to have a resealable container. I only use a little so the bag lasts a long time. It looks more attractive than plain white salt if you put the salt grinder on the table. I prefer the more subtle taste of Himalayan salt to sea salt which has a more robust flavour.

Rock salt! This is an odd bunch item to get without the original salt dispenser as it’s the refill. No grinder! So this sent me to the internet to workout uses of rock salt. For example you can sprinkle on weeds and it will kill them. Also pretty as a decorator item. And if you are so inclined you could use it when making casseroles or soups - situations where they will dissolve. Good product except no grinder. I’ve always thought pink salt isn’t strong enough in flavour. Not something we would normally buy but appreciate the opportunity to try. Thanks Bunch!
