Where's the mango flavour? This is a brightly packaged product but I was rather confused why the mango jelly is a bright orange colour instead of yellow. I soon found out when I read the ingredients on the packaging. Though it contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, it contains natural mango flavour and natural collours (carotenes, paprika extract). This explains the bright orange colour of the jelly. The tubs of jelly weren't the easiest to open and on opening, a sticky liquid spilled out so I was glad I didn't give them to the kids to open. I had a couple of spoonfuls to taste and the kids ate a tub each. I couldn't taste any mango flavour at all, just a sweet tasting jelly and the texture is too firm for my liking. Mango Jelly. Thank you Bunch for this sample. My 6 year old takes one of the aeroplane jelly cups to School once a week as a treat and so it was nice to get these as a sample to compare between the 2 brands. The price is good for the 4 pack. The outside cardboard packaging is fine but the tub itself has nothing on it so that’s a bit dull and boring for the kiddos. Perhaps some cute fun fruity characters would be appealing. I did find the lid a lot harder to peel off too. My daughter can get the Aeroplane off but had to get me to remove the lid on this one so that means currently she can only have them at home so I can peel it open for her. The taste was very sweet. I wouldn’t eat it myself but the little one liked it. The price for a 4 pack of these is less than 2 ... MoreMango Jelly. Thank you Bunch for this sample. I think I may buy again as my little one enjoyed them and it’s just the issue of the lid at the minute but I’m sure once she’s older it won’t be a problem. Thanks Bunch!!!

Not the best flavour jelly ever. When I saw this in my little blue trolley I thought "Oh well the Jelly train as stopped for me I had best climb on board" from me for Jelly which is Made in China. I am sorry but I really do think we should be able to make this simple dessert in Australia. Even though I have read many reviews saying that it is watery on top and be careful opening the film on top I still managed to spill it on my kitchen bench - luckily not all over me though. But I would have to say the aroma of Mango that came "flooding" out got me quite excited this was going to be a very tasty jelly. And I do think there was that "artificial" aftertaste I usually get if it is a low joule jelly but a quick check of the box revealed Sugar as the 2nd ingredient so this was not the case. Maybe it was the various different gums or acids which seemed to be listed which gave me that taste as Natural Mango Flavour only rated a mention 2nd to last ingredient?? It was not all bad. I did have mine for dessert and "turned it out of the mould" onto my plate prior to adding the Vanilla Ice Cream with it. It came out easily and did look quite colourful and appetising on the plate. And I would have to say if you had a mouthful mixed together of both it did taste better. If you have children I am sure they would absolutely love it and not be as fussy as me. for the fact of No Artifical Colours, Flavours or Preservatives but not so sure about the 3 Health Star Rating when Sugar is the 2nd ingredient?? Tub and Sleeve are recyclable but film must be binned. All in all it was not a winner in my household but I can see the merits of the convenience when you have children in the house. Thank you @bunch for the opportunity to sample and review this product. I did hover between 2 and 3 stars as I do honestly think this is a 2. 5 star rating and does have as many good points as bad points. Thank you all for reading my ramblings and have a wonderful night.

Sweet mango snack. Located in the dessert aisle. Price $2. 20 for 4 pack. 3 star rating ( photo above shows product having 0. 5 star rating ). No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Not 100% happy with purchase, replace or refund. Recycle tub and sleeve. Film in bin. Made in China. Ingredients:Plastic film was quite firm and took a little effort to remove. After removing there was some syrup on top. ( Be careful as it did spill out ). Base, out of cup: Once the film was removed, a nice mango aroma was smelt. The jelly was sweet tasting, with a mild mango flavour, that is not overpowering ( for me it needed more ). There was an aftertaste of Mango. It tasted better cold than warm. The cups would be good if they had replaceable lids to make own jelly in. For a quick single serve sweet mango treat, this is ideal. Would be a nice addition with ice cream. I would consider purchasing this product. Thank you Bunch.
Convenient kids snack. We found these not too bad for the convenience factor. I'm sure kids would like them however the adults in this house were not overly impressed. We found the cups quite difficult to open without wearing the liquid the jelly was floating in. Not sure if the liquid was supposed to be there or if the jelly wasn't set properly. We tipped the jelly out into bowls as it was too difficult and messy to eat from the cups. There was quite a pleasant mango smell when opening the cup. The mango flavour however, wasn't very apparent. We found the taste was rather artificial and quite strange. We ended up adding some ice cream and tinned fruit to the jelly to jazz it up a bit and make it more palatable. We did enjoy it more than when it was plain jelly. ... MoreConvenient kids snack. What's the difference between jam and jelly? There's no such thing as a jamfish... hmmm, that's pretty factual and not very funny, anywayFirst impressions - These are $2 something, which seemed like a good price for 4 fruit cups but seems like an egregious rip off for 4 jelly cupsSecond impressions - What is jelly? Nobody actually knows, but we eat it anyway. Pause and ask yourself, does this pass the ingredient test? Have a look, what a bunch of nonsense ingredients! Not to mention this junk is 15% sugar. Why anyone would buy this or eat it is beyond me. How it ever became a 'food' in the first place is a concerning topic. Nothing about it is good. This shouldn't be fed to anyone, particularly children, which this lunchbox size seems to cater for. At least buy the fruit in the cup instead
Good for the kids. My kids were excited when they found out we had received this sample to try. I didn't think we'd actually get to the point of being able to sample it though, I had so much difficulty finding it. I went to a few different Woolworths stores and even after getting a staff member to help me look for it at one, we still couldn't find it. Turns out it wasn't with all the prepackaged fruit in a cup like I was expecting, it was in the jelly section. I guess the name should have given it away but with the packaging so similiar I kept overlooking it (as clearly the staff member who tried to help me did too). I've taken a star off because it's Made in China. I'd prefer to pay a bit extra and get one that's Australian made to support our local farmers. It's priced at $2. 11 for a 4 pack, which makes it an affordable treat to have and Woolworths say if you're not 100% happy with your purchase, they'll replace or refund, which is good to know. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to sample this product.
Unpleasant - not one for us. Unlike the product depicted in the product description, the packaging in real life displays a 3 health star rating - something I just don't understand considering it is just sugar, water and a whole lot of questionable additives. I really dislike the addition of carrageenan and would prefer not to eat this thickener due to its carcinogenic risk to humans. I put off trying this for a while as it just didn't appeal and ultimately this product was probably even worse than anticipated. Shelf stable jelly is just so very wrong, especially when you also consider its long expiry date which is a whole year away. Shelf stable jelly is just so very wrong, especially when you also consider its long expiry date which is a whole year away. I built up the courage to try this item and my daughter decided that she would like to open it. She really struggled with the film on the small pots. Once she did finally manage to pry it open, out spilt a lot of jelly liquid which created a mess - definitely not convenient if aimed at kids and school lunch boxes. The flavour and texture of the product was very very average. The jelly had a weird watery consistency and the mango flavour was barely there and had a strange aftertaste. I couldn't manage more than a spoonful and the remainder of the product went to the dog. Unfortunately this cheap product from China is just a no go for us.
Quick dessert. I found this product in the aisle with the canned fruits and other dessert type products. I found the little pots to be hard to open and the jelly in a mango tasting juice/syrup. I liked the taste of the jelly/juice. I found that if I drained the juice though, the jelly on its own was quite tasteless. The jelly itself was quite firm but easy to scoop with a spoon. This product would be great for snacks or lunch box additions for kiddies. Or a quick dessert throw together by adding ice-cream or custard. I wouldn't buy this product in the future. Even though jelly is a favourite of mine, I much prefer the jelly crystals made up. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to try this sample.
Not so great jelly snack. Thank you for the opportunity to try this product. Straight up it’s awful. The jelly was very sweet and tasted very artificial, the label says mango flavoured. The jelly was firm when you eat it, yet liquid covers the top which spills when you open the plastic covering which is hard to remove. So you’re eating sugar, water and gelling agents. Very high in sugar (18 mg) and sodium - 57 mg per serve!! Not surprisingly it has a 0. 5 star Health rating. This jelly is made in China and states that there are no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Although it tastes artificial, nothing like mango. Even though it’s $2. 11 per 4 pack, I don’t recommend for children! I question why such products are even produced….
