4. 5 Stars. Woolworths Milk Chocolate Almonds are a very delicious treat indeed!Priced at $2. 00 for a 190g bag of yumminess, they will not last long once you open them The dry roasted almonds were really crisp, fresh and with a thick coating of milk chocolate. The chocolate is slightly grainy and is not the same quality as the leading brands; which lets this sample down slightly. Made in Australia from 60% Australian Ingredients, they have a health star rating of. 5 and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The plastic film can returned to store. I would be happy to purchase this product again as they were happily devoured by all. I would also love it if this range included a dark chocolate option. Many thanks Bunch!

The package just shrunk. This is an inexpensive chocolate snack that we have been buying for a while when we can't find any other chocolates on special. It's better than compound chocolate but not as good as Cadbury chocolate. Whole almonds are used and they are nice and crisp. There is a thick coating of chocolate. This chocolate had been unavailable for some time. It was nice to receive this as a sample. When I picked it up I noticed that the packaging was smaller. The weight is 190g and on checking, the package size has gone down from 200g to 190g however, I think the price is about the same. The reduction would make it about 5% less which is still cheap.

Lots of chocolate. Packaging: Quite easy to find on the bottom shelf of the individual chocolate section. I'm not a fan of the colour of the packaging, it kind of looks cheap. Maybe a more natural, almond colour??? Love that the packaging can be returned to the store for recycling. Use by date of just under a year. Price: $2 for the 190gm pack. Cheap and a great option when needing products on a plate but not needing to totally impress others. Product: Each piece was generally a good size. Lots of chocolate around the almonds which meant the almonds got a little lost in the experience. I actually cut the chocolate off and measured each component - the piece 'as is' was 7g, the chocolate was 6gm therefore meaning the nut weighed 1gm. That's a little too much ... MoreLots of chocolate. Packaging: Quite easy to find on the bottom shelf of the individual chocolate section. Eating them I tried two different ways: just popping a whole one in my mouth and eating it, and delicately eating it so I could examine the components. When eating them whole I was left wondering where the almond was. When eating them in a more delicate manner the almonds had a nice crunch and were easy to bite into - no broken teeth. I have found another brand of chocolate coated almonds that are mainly almonds with a very thin coat of chocolate that really enhances the almond eating experience. Would I buy these - maybe but they won't be my first go to brand

There is no chocoholics anonymous, no one wants to quit . A dry roasted almond covered in milk chocolate, why yes please. These moorish roasted almonds, are covered in a thick milk chocolate coating. The almonds are crunchy and the chocolate , well not quite up to the same standards as eating Lindt or Cadbury chocolate. So much chocolate for such a small almond. The ratio here is definitely not right, but everything tastes better wrapped in chocolate. Easily found on the bottom shelf in the chocolate aisle. Made in Australia from at least 60% Australian ingredients. $2. 00 for 190g. 0. 5 Health star âď¸ rating. You will only want a couple of these at a time. Great to have on hand while watching a movie or to add to a grazing platter. Thanks for my sample Bunch.
Big Chocolate Wowzerâs! Healthy almonds crunching within a thick chocolate encased layer of wrapping between my teeth! They are so moorish itâs impossible to resist having more and more! Tasty chocolate, with high cocoa fat & sugar content. BUT that is what chocolate is! I didnât see preservatives added, so thatâs really good. Enjoy the healthy almonds - in moderation. A little goes a long way on the waist lineVery reasonably priced. A little packet to have handy when visitors surprise you. Add to a nut & savoury platter with nibblies. Thank you WW for this delicious tester.
Scorched Almonds. A 190g sample of WW dry roasted milk chocolate almonds had 31 choc coated almonds. I said âhadâ as the family found them very moorish, try stopping at 4 which is the suggested serving size. Itâs Rainforest Alliance certified promoting human rights and improves livelihoods. Made in Australia from at least 60% Australian ingredients with no artificial colours, flavours and preservatives. One of the ingredients used is a common glazing agent (shellac 1400) a dextrin formed from roasted starch used as a sealant which gives the food (in this case the chocolate almond) a shiny, waxy protective coating that can add weight and extend shelf life. Iâm not a chocolate connoisseur but I prefer a thinner coating and a higher percentage of cocoa solids like in old gold dark chocolate coated almonds or Lindt roasted almond block also in WW. For the price of $2 ($1. 05/100g) currently on a low price freeze itâs good value for money. Thanks for the opportunity to review this product.
Hubby loves them. I've had these before I thought I had reviewed them but I mustn't have. Just like the other packets in this range it's not my favourite chocolate. So I offered them to hubby and he nearly finished the packet in one sitting. They were in front of his computer whilst playing his game. I heard this angry voice yell out about how he couldn't easily open the packet. He is right. You have to rip them in the middle of the packet vertically if you want to open them without scissors. An easy tear open area horizontally across the packet would work better for lazy man who can't get up out of his chair to get scissors. The amount of almond is small and the chocolate very thick. So it's mainly chocolate. Rainforest certified cocoaMade in Australia from at ... MoreHubby loves them. I've had these before I thought I had reviewed them but I mustn't have. Would have liked more almond and less chocolate! Ingredients list said 85% Milk Chocolate and 14% Almonds. I certainly found the chocolate too thick for the size of the almond. Although it did say Milk Chocolate I thought it tasted more like Compound Chocolate. Nice for an occasional snack but I would like to see the above points improved. A version in Dark Chocolate would also be nice and probably quite popular. Also, having the product so hard to find on the bottom shelf is doing nothing to encourage customers to purchase. Many reviewers state that enjoyed the packs after they managed to find them. I'll try again at a later time and maybe they will better meet my expectations next time â
Budget friendly chocolate almonds. These are easily found on the bottom shelf in the chocolates & lollies aisle. The almonds are coated thickly with very sweet milk chocolate, which isn't the best quality, but as a budget friendly family treat it's fine. The chocolate melts nicely and it's creamy, just more sweet than chocolatey. These wouldn't satisfy chocolate lovers. The almonds weren't very crunchy and are quite small in comparison to the thick coating of milk chocolate. It's not a product I'd purchase in future, in saying that, this is very good value at $2 for a 190g bag to keep the young ones happy. * 0. 5 Health Rating* Made in Australia from at least 60% Aussie ingredients* Bag is return to store
Great valued sweet treat. At $2 one can't complain. It was a pleasure to sample chocolate, and chocolate with a nut centre was even better. The packet size was excellent, particularly considering the price point. Funnily enough, I found there was perhaps a tad too much chocolate surrounding the almond. The nut flavour was overpowered by such a large amount of chocolate, albeit they were still morish to eat. I would repurchase them; they present outstanding value when on a tight budget or those with a large family. A delightful sample. The photos depict the entire bag content and a peep on the inside.
