One of my earliest memories of my grandparents is going to their house and they would buy pineapple juice that came in a can. I remember it being very tart and delicious. The price point on this juice is much better than the leading brand, before Woolies introduced this there wasn’t really any alternative than buying the more expensive one and given the amount we can go through over summer it can be a very costly item so this version has really helped our budget. I am not a big alcohol drinker but when I do partake in a cheeky one it’s usually during the summer/Christmas period and my go to is always vodka with pineapple juice. I like to freeze some pineapple juice into ice cube trays as it’s a great way to add to drinks instead of water so that the taste isn’t watered down. To me pineapple juice is best served super cold. I like to put my glass in the freezer until I am ready to drink it. And you can also add the frozen pineapple juice cubes to your straight pineapple juice to keep it colder for longer. Or just eat them like ice blocks for a refreshingly cold summer hit

Perfect Pineapple Juice! I loved this pineapple juice!I used to always buy the green can of GC pineapple juice and mix it with other flavours in a punch. Interestingly there seems to be very few brands offering pineapple juice on the shelves nowadays so I was delighted to find this one standing out like a diamond in the rough on a completely empty shelf!Love the packaging and the picture is vibrant and signifies the pineapple flavour. Twisting the cap is easy and the carton itself allows for squeezing as you pour it without it imploding on itself. Love that its 99% fruit juice, with minimal other additives but would have liked an increase from the 20% Australian ingredients which this juice boasts. A very good price for the 1L carton. But.... adding it to a cocktail shaker and adding some vanilla vodka and Chambord makes the best French martini ever! And we enjoyed a fair few of these over the Christmas period. Its highly possible that Ive purchased two more of these cartons since my sample just for cocktails!I'll continue to but this juice on a regular basis and will see what other flavours are in the range. Easily located in store with all the other juices and I love how easy it is to open, just unscrew the top and thats it, no pulling up plastics tabs or trying to peel off foil - love it!Full of goodness and great to see no added sugar - pineapple is a lovely sweet fruit anyway and I found this juice very satisfying, with a delightful taste. No too sweet and not too tart. On it's own, a lovely drink, served chilled with an ice block or 2 on a hot day (if they ever come this year!) also tried it mixed with a lightly sparkling lime juice mineral water and it tasted superb so if you don't like the full flavour of pineapple juice it does go well as a mixer. Highly recommend this product, also excellent to add some 'spark' to your baking and savoury cooking, add some to your jelly instead of water. You can't go wrong with this product, such a great price too at $1. 95 per litre. It's just juice, with no lumps or chunks. A lovely, mostly Australian product with great packaging will definitely be a staple in my pantry. from me

Only 20% Australian Ingredients. I really love pineapple in all its forms and this juice was really good! It was sweet but not overly sweet. Made from reconstituted pineapple with a 99% fruit content, the ingredients list was free from added sugar (thank goodness!) and the little bit of citric acid in the mix helped to dull down the overly sweet taste that some juices have. Fruit juice is a rare treat in our household but this was affordable and the pantry pack meant that I could enjoy it when I was ready without the threat of it going bad. Definitely handy to have in the pantry. the 1L pack size contained 4 x 250ml serves which for our household was perfect. I would buy again if the Australian product content improved but I'd rather pay a little more to find a product supporting our farmers. Not everyone has that luxury, so if you're looking for a great tasting product at a reasonable price and supporting Australians doesn't come into the equation for you, this is a great product for you No judgement just a fair assessment of my preferences

The reason has been due to new packaging and Government food ratings apparently. It's a nice flavoured juice, pleasingly no added sugar and yet sweet enough. The fibres also make it feel like a fruit juice, not just a watered down drink. Perhaps a little too acidic for me, but perfect addition to smoothies, fruit punch and use in Sweet and Sours. For a tetra pack juice, this is quite good. Although this type of packaging is not something I generally opt for, it does have the benefit of having a long shelf life, very convenient to have on hand, excellent for travelling and squashing down for recycling. ... MoreFlavoursome. If you like pineapple juice, and you haven't given this one a try, I highly recommend that you do so. I think you will be convinced that this brand of pineapple juice is great tasting and very refreshing.
