It seems a little thick and tastes a bit sharp, probably due to the no added sugar and dependent on the variety/varieties of orange used to make the pre-reconstituted pulp. This product has 3 HSR and the 2 litre bottle is a good volume for a bigger family. The seal on this particular bottle was extremely difficult to peel off. I haven’t had this level of difficulty with any other peeling bottle seal. It just tore into strips and I really like to get every bit of these seals off the mouth of the bottle coz they can get pretty gross-looking in no time at all. It was obvious that the bottle needed to be shaken to mix up the big layer of juicing sediment at the base, but then it looked very uniform. The suggestion to serve chilled was sensible, but we add lots of ice also in summer and it is very enjoyable, probably because it waters it done just a click or two in time. A sprig of mint is nice in it too. This doesn’t taste like freshly squeezed orange juice but it is a pleasant chilled drink in summer. I would always prefer a product that gives open information about source/origins rather than settling for generic, “imported ingredients”. A ‘sometimes’ buy.

This juice is No Added Sugar juice and is reconstituted orange juice. It is a big bottle and doesn’t fit in our fridge door so I had it tightly closed and lying down on the bottom shelf in our fridge after opening. It is packed in Australia from imported ingredients, which seems to be the same as most other juices. I probably wouldn’t buy this as it’s not convenient for our fridge size but would recommend it as an affordable tasty juice. I did a quick search on the internet about reconstituted juice compared to fresh juice, it doesn’t seem to have the same benefits as fresh juice, which I understand.

Refreshing Juice. This was very easy to find on the shelf with the other long life juices. The label is nice with pictures of real oranges certainly making it appealing. And I like that the bottle is clear/see-through so you can see exactly what's inside. It is a good 2 litre-sized bottle so there's plenty of serves and the price is excellent. I love that there is no added sugar so it's not too sweet. My palate has become accustomed to less sugar and find now a lot of foods with added sugar way too sugary/sweet. However some sweet-tooths and others that haven't reduced their sugar intake might find it less appealing because it isn't as sweet and a tad more bitter. My grandson recently had a juice with lots of pulp in and wasn't happy (ended up spitting it out) but he found this was more than ok and didn't even notice the pulp. We used a freezer-style slushie maker to make a orange fruit slushie for him and that icy drink definitely got the thumbs up. While it's packed in Australia it says they use imported ingredients which is a shame. While I prefer home grown, I do understand some of our oranges are imported so that's fine but they should tell us what country they are imported from. So have taken one star off for the lack of transparency. Overall I was very happy with this juice. It was concentrated and full of flavour with all the orange in rather than being strained and diluted. I loved that there was no extra sugar and would be happy to buy again for a nice, refreshing, natural drink. However I'd prefer to know the country of origin before recommending to others.

It also froze nicely for some orange ice blocks (good for the kids, better with some gin for adults. ) My kids both approved and hubby rated it better than his usual juice buy. If we could get the ingredients locally with some understanding of origin, it would be a 5 star

OJ. Reconstituted orange juice is simply when they process it, they remove all the water to get an orange concentrate. Then when they make it into the juice, they add water to it. In this juice that I taste tested I could really see the separation from water to the concentrate. It's not necessarily the right consistency but to get a lot of juice it's better than squeezing lots of oranges. It didn't wow me with fresh orange juice flavour and it didn't wow me freshness. I always squeeze oranges at home. I prefer a fresh orange juice. It takes me about 4 oranges to get a reasonable amount of orange juice. I like to eat an orange when I'm not feeling well, and it also helps me absorb my iron tablets for example. I will still buy the fruit but would purchase an orange ... MoreOJ. Despite my usual squeezing of fresh oranges (or occasionally fresh 100% juice with no added sugar), as a convenient long life product, this was full of flavour and pleasing in its varied uses. Apparently 125ml of fruit juice is equivalent to 1 piece of fruit and a bottle suggested serving of 250ml (8 per pack), this equals the Dietary Guidelines of eating 2 serves of fruit per day. Personally, I encourage the family to not overindulge in this easy form of sourcing Vitamin C and have a combination of this and fresh fruit. As this juice doesn't have pulp, it reminds me of breakfasts at motels and actually think it was up there with the better ones at such establishments. Quite a nice taste, particularly pleasing those who don't like juice with pulp. Unlike me, who enjoys the fibre in fresh juice, but found it an excellent economical addition in combining fruits in smoothies. Really, I would love to see this produced from locally grown fruit (particularly 2nd grade and those fallen and wasted)! This would be responsibly sourced, helping the farming industry and less damaging to the environment in a number of ways!
