Woolworths Pistachios 80g

Versatile Snack. Im not a big nut snack kinda person, but pistachios have always been something I've used on chocolate bark treats with raisins. These pistachios are nice, worked fine for the use I have. Enjoyed that it had a recipe for chocolate bark on the packet. Ive seen other recipes and uses for them so will try again in the future. But still not thrilled over the price of them. So its definitely still only ever a every so often thing.

Delicious in desserts, but not sourced from Australia. We made the chocolate bark on the packet which was delicious, but probably wouldn't purchase these as a snack for more than one person - the portion size wasn't nearly big enough for our family. It would also be great to crush and add on top of some ice cream or decorate some festive cakes with. While the chocolate bark went down a treat with the family, I don't think I'll be purchasing this product in future since the pistachios are sourced from the US and not from Australia. I'll probably opt to buy the bag of pistachios with the shells from Woolworths instead because they're Australian grown. Would be great if they were in more environmentally conscious and eco-friendly packaging as well.

Shell Shock. Produced in USA, Packed in Australia.... Hmmm maybe that explains why they seemed a bit stale. Tasted ok besides the lack of crunch indicating freshness. No added salt 5 star health rating seems ok I guess if you are adding them to something as an additional ingredient ie slice, chocolate bark. I just ate them as a snack, lack of salt obviously plays a huge part in the lack of flavour. Price per 100g\kg very expensive. I would rather buy with shell on from a local delicatessen, (for a lot less) at least for snacking purposes taking the shell off is half the fun.

Versatile Bag! This product was quite easy to find amongst the other nuts in the baking section. The bag however is small for its priceIt was quite handy having the pistachios already shelled and ready to eat, it’s a perfect size for a quick snack or to add into a recipe! The nuts don’t come salted so that is handy when it comes to needing it for baking. The flavour of the pistachios is strong enough and they were crunchy! Probably wouldn’t repurchase this unless I needed the 80grams of pistachios for a recipe I was making only due to the pricing of the bag. Thanks Bunch!

Good Pistachios for Baking. I recently bought these Pistachios for baking. In my Woolworths there was one other brand of Pistachios, Made in Australia and slightly more expensive. The nuts looked almost identical. The Woolworths brand Pistachios are produced in the USA and packed in Australia. The nuts are natural, the pack clearly states there is no added salt. There are No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives. The Health Star Rating is 5. The Pistachios were perfect for my baking. I would add them to a home made muesli, in salads, etc but I would not consider them a quality nut to offer as a snack, nibble or on a cheese board.

I had trouble finding the Pistachios, I first looked in the nut section in the veggie department then in the baking aisle. I could not see the Woolworths Pistachio nut’s anywhere However there was a team member in the vegetable section working, who took me straight to them in the baking aisle. Delicious and versatile. These pistachios have been wonderful. Although they are quite expensive on the shelf a little goes a long way. I have been putting these on the kids snack plates, adding in some baking (Mmmm fig and pistachio biscotti) and adding them to salads. I still have half a package left! I love that they are unsalted, the flavour is wonderful and it makes them so easy to add to whatever you feel. Great product and I will be buying again!

The shells help keep the dirt and other contaminants out of the grooves of each pistachio. These specific ones with no shells are the reason that some of my family members had reactions. It's great they weren't salted as they can be used for sweet or savoury snacks. It would be better if the pistachios were from Australia instead of being shipped from the US. It would be great to also receive organic nuts so I know they aren't sprayed with chemicals such as pesticides and fungicides. It would be amazing if Woolies could sell this product in a more eco-friendly packaging as only 9% of plastic is actually recycled. Overall, it was ... MoreCould be fresher with shells. Disappointed. I was super disappointed with these as a snack. They were stale and had no crunch at all. I normally buy pistachios as a snack and would have been so disappointed if I’d bought them. They had a use by date of 20/05/2024 so well within date. They may be more suited to baking which could help crisp them up. I wouldn’t buy these again.

Healthy and versatile! So happy to pick up my pistachios as normally I bypass them because of the price. I knew that they are very beneficial to your health and contain healthy fats, fibre, antioxidants and protein. I finely crushed up about 50 gm in my small processor and added them to a batch of savoury cheese scones. Yum! The rest I nibbled on watching the cricket to see how they would be as a nutritious snack! Also yum and I found them fresh, crunchy and having them pre-shelled is a bonus. If I buy these again I will try sprinkling crushed pistachios on the top of an easy vegetable slice I make for added flavour and nutrients.
