Crunchy tasty wedges. We were looking for some wedges for dinner and couldnât find any and then saw these, so bought them. The wedges cost $2. 20 for 750g which is good value. The ingredients listing is pretty good and no numbers and itâs atleast 96% Australian ingredients Hubby said they were a bit soggy, which was probably my baking technique. I liked them even though they didnât have a big flavour hit, but that can be fixed with some sour cream or ketchup.

Tasty Wedges... Gone In A Flash! I bought these to form part of an array of snacks for a Friday night football-watching gathering. Itâs cold and who doesnât love a good potato wedge dripping with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream? The bright purple packaging is attractive and eye-catching. It proudly and clearly displays the product being purchased on the front. This choice of packaging sets it apart from other products and brands available in the same area of the frozen foods section. Although the packet is simple enough to open using a pair of scissors, a perforated edge or corner would be really handy and convenient! Upon inspecting the contents inside, I was pleased to find consistently sized wedges that seemed well seasoned and evenly coated. There were no ... MoreTasty Wedges... Gone In A Flash! Upon inspecting the contents inside, I was pleased to find consistently sized wedges that seemed well seasoned and evenly coated. There were no broken or crushed wedges, which was pleasing. Following the packet cooking instructions gave me lovely, golden potato wedges. They were crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle. They were a great size for snacking on and eating by hand â no huge, giant wedges here! The spice mixture on the outside was tasty without being spicy or overpowering. Even notoriously fussy Miss 8 happily enjoyed these wedges! At just $2. 00 for a 750 gram bag, they represent excellent value for money and are budget friendly. The bag can be recycled through Woolworthsâ in-store soft plastic recycling scheme Made in Australia from at least 96% Australian ingredients No artificial colours or flavoursTotally delicious served with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream. Miss 8 also vouches that they go well with tomato sauce. The whole packet disappeared in quick time, so I think that speaks volumes. I have no doubt that these will be a repeat purchase.

Tasty but packaging weak. We got these wedges and noticed at the checkout that the bag had split open along the back seam. We then went and got another bag which hadnât been split but when we got home we noticed it opened up along the same seam. The packaging was really easy to open - I didnât need scissors which I normally would for plastic packaging like this so I think there was a bad batch of packaging. For $3 these werenât too bad. We cooked them in the air fryer with a light spray of oil and that was a good way to ensure that the coating was crispy like good wedges from a pub. Often we find frozen wedges just donât live up to that crispy exterior. We did have to add some salt to season so along with this and the packaging issue the score is reduced slightly.

On a plate of chips , be a potato wedge. These wedges go well with steak, pies, fish, chicken parmigiana or just as a snack. On opening the bag, the wedges are all of varying sizes & thickness, no big deal as they all taste the same to me. They are lightly seasoned, and cooked in canola oil. The packaging is purple, with potato wedges on it. This bag stands out in the freezer, amongst the other frozen chips/wedges. Instructions on the back state to preheat oven to 230 degrees (210 fan forced). Line a baking tray with baking paper, and lay wedges in a single layer. Cook for 20 - 25 minutes, turning half way and cook until brown. I cooked my wedges as per directions, and they come out well cooked, crunchy on the outside & fluffy on the inside. Good for frozen chips. We usually make our own chips from scratch, but decided to buy these as we were on holidays and wanted something a bit quicker than normal, and we also didn't have our normal kitchen supplies available. Cooked as per instructions, they were hot, crunchy and fluffy - seasoned with salt, they were the perfect accompaniment to a burger. We'd prefer our own chips with just potato, spices, salt and olive oil, but for a cheap (when compared to other frozen chips), quick alternative, these were pretty good.
Wedged in my memory. Bought these to accompany some crumbed fish fillets in the oven. Usually buy the steakhouse chips but wanted to try wedges out for something a bit different. Easy to cook in the oven but they, like chips, do take at least 25 minutes on a high heat (230C) which we rarely set our oven to so we just tend to cook for longer at a lower heat. We also donât tend to turn these over at the halfway point so the bottom surface can get a little drier than the top surface. They also donât tend to brown too much. In this pack I also came across at least one wedge with green colouring so that hasnât passed the quality control check for me but itâs hard to pick up on all the green potatoes!Good side dish for the price you pay. Made in Australia from at least 96% Australian ingredients No artificial colours or flavours4 âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ health rating Priced at $2 for 750g The packaging is of an appealing purple colour and depicts loose wedges all over with a small dish of sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. We will probably buy these again in the future.
Good Value. I buy these when I can't get my preferred brand. They are a good price compared to brands, even when the brand name is on special. They lack flavour, (other than potato) however, we love to have these topped with bacon and cheese with sweet Chili and sour cream so plenty of flavour this way. They cook well when cooked to packet directions but I like to keep them in the oven an extra few minutes for a bit of extra crunch.
Fantastic value and a great product! Tried these for the first time last night. The purple packaging with the words âAustralian Potato Wedgesâ caught my eye as my usual branded product was not on special. At $2 for a 750g bag they are excellent value. Cheaper than the branded alternatives. Made in Australia from 96% Australian ingredients with no artificial colours or flavours I decided to give them a try. I was not disappointed. Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside they were delicious. We enjoyed them with sour cream as a side dish to our main meal. Very happy with this product and will definitely continue to buy. This will now be my permanent buy for potato wedges as the quality and value are fantastic.

Australian grown, quality product, 4 star health rating, reasonably priced, cooked well and tasted great. Ticked all my boxes, I wouldnât hesitate to recommend these wedges and will purchase again.
Convenient Wedges. Another great Woolworths product, the wedges are easy to prepare, just pop them into a preheated oven and cook for 20 to 25 minutes whilst you prepare dinner. They come out nice and crisp, have a great texture and are a delight to eat. My only criticism would be that they perhaps lacked some flavour for my taste buds, otherwise thoroughly enjoyable. They sell for a great price and are convenient to have in the freezer all the time for those nights your running a bit late, cant be bothered or for a weekend lunch with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce. They are Australian made from at least 96% Australian ingredients which is nice to see that our farmers are being supported by the purchase of home grown fresh produce. Overall a great accompaniment for a meal or a snack at a great price.
