Woolworths RSPCA Approved Diced Chicken Breast 500g

Saves some time. We all love a time-saving product, so this was welcomed in our house to trial. I normally purchase free range chicken in the green packet, so had not tried this one. The packet easily opened at the corner and we had no issues with the taste of the chicken or how it cooked. The dice was on the larger side which my husband liked, but for myself and the kids it was a bit too large. At my local, the staff display some of these packs in a standing up position, which makes all of the chicken pieces fall to the bottom and the juice collects, which looks gross and not appealing to purchase.

Normally I would never buy something cut up as it works out cheaper to buy it in a piece and then I can cut to whatever size I want for the dish requirements. But as Woolies were giving me a sample to try of the diced chicken breast who was I to say no. $14. 00 for 1 kg and all in bite sized pieces. The meat is high quality with lovely nice lean bits of chicken with no scraps. I decide to make a Chicken Tikka Masala with my sample. Very impressed! Lots of packs to choose from in the meat department, easily found with the other chicken offerings and all looked very fresh. I wasn’t quite ready to use this so it went in the freezer. Easily defrosted in the fridge when I was ready to make butter chicken, Browned the chicken pieces for added flavour before adding onions and the sauce. Absolutely impressed with the finished dish. I always buy thighs for this type of meal as I worry about drying out chicken breast. I was so very impressed with how tender and delicious the chicken breast was and it definitely did not dry out. The 1kg pack is a great size and if you’re after convenience, having this chopped up for you is great too. Thanks so much for a wonderful sample

Time saver pre cut chicken. My little eyes lit up with joy when I received this 1kg packet of diced chicken breast as a limited release. Such a big packet that it easily did three big meals. I made chicken satay, chilli chicken stir-fry and I I also made a chicken Pad Thai. The convenience of this chicken already being pre cut and diced saved me some prep time in the kitchen, not to mention that my hands didn’t have to get dirty. The chicken pieces were pretty much all uniform in size and were lovely and fresh. Cooking time was minimal being that the breast meat doesn’t need to long to cook through. Flavourful and tender this is another fabulous meat product stocked by Woolworths. Thanks for my awesome sample.

Another fabulous Bunchee chicken product. Thanks a bunch for this great product offer. I divided the meat into 2 packs & froze one as 500 gms is enough for a meal for the 2 of us. I was lucky to get the last remaining pack the day that I shopped. I checked the expiry date as it had a bit of liquid in the tray but had a long expiry date on it which was pleasing. The chicken was diced perfectly & saved me time as i usually buy the breasts with skin on which I discard so it is wasted then dice the chicken myself. I use chicken a few times a week as it is the most economical meat these days & very versatile. I like the fact that the chicken is RSPCA approved & hopefully treated as humanely as possible. Nice Size chuncks. A Nice Product but the Cost $15 for 1 kg but its cheaper if you buy the breast and dice it yourself but the price is due being diced. Can not fault this product at all. Says 100% Australian Chicken. So your paying for the convenience of not having to slice the chicken. I still buying the Breast and dicing it myself.

And I use the word sample loosely, a 1kg pack of diced chicken. Such a huge amount I froze half ready for another time. I made a chicken casserole with lots of vegetables: chicken, bacon, onion, carrot, peas, cauliflower, mushrooms, chopped broccoli stem, chicken stock, salt, pepper, garlic and some Italian herbs. Yum! The chicken was moist, and being diced I didn't have to chop it up (win!). Great that it was RSPCA approved.
