Tiny Peanuts and Where do they come from?? The sample was out of stock at my local store since July 2023, and I had to travel to another store to get it. The peanuts are tiny compared to the ones I buy regularly. I tasted a few of them straight from the packet, they have a slight sweetness but not peanuty. Because they are very tiny, I will use them for salads, baking or stir fries but not for snacking as I prefer bigger peanuts. I have the habit of checking where my products/ingredients come from, but the packet only indicated “Packed in Australia from imported ingredients”. It’s a bit puzzling and unusual that the country of origin was not stated on the packet, especially when they are Woollies home brand. This says 98% peanuts 0. 9% salt, &peanut oil. ✅As you can see the bag is reasonably full, so still good value, &it has a foil bag for freshness. ✅I thought that I would sieve the nuts just to see how much excess salt there was? As I could hardly taste any. ❌ and as you can see in the container, Nope there isn’t any in there, so I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing? I made peanut butter cookies for my grandchildren and added these nuts. It made the cookies look like they were from a bakery! The nuts also added to the taste and crunch of the cookies and doubled up on the key ingredient for an extra flavour punch!
