Really nice, pleasantly surprised. I don't normally buy sesame seeds even though I like the taste. But I do buy bread rolls or products that contain sesame seeds on or in them. After purchasing them for this Bunch review, I had a thought on how I would be consuming them and decided to give it a try in my breakfast cereal, first thing in the morning, and wow, I was pleasantly surprised. The seeds complimented my cereal in such a lovely way that I have eaten them in my cereal every day, since adding them the first time to my cereal. The toasted flavor of the seeds stood out and really blended in well with the semi-sweet taste of my cereal. Sesame seeds are now part of my must-buy shopping list monthly and I will be experimenting with different foods from now on as well. So, in all honesty, I can really recommend the natural taste of this lovely product.

Glad Ive tried these sesame seeds. To be honest, sesame seeds have never been a staple in my pantry, so when I received them I was unsure what to do with them. The only thing I could think of was bread (and I don’t bake bread). My son suggested I put them in a stir fry, so that’s what I did. I made a honey soy stir-fry, toasted the sesame seeds in a pan, and sprinkled them on the top of the stir-fry. The sesame seeds gave the stir-fry a lovely extra element as the texture and taste were lovely. They worked particularly well with honey soy so they will become a new pantry staple. Great price. Only thing I found is that I had to put the packet in a small container once opened to prevent them spilling. writing my review now, I’m actually craving sesame seeds as I’m ... MoreGlad Ive tried these sesame seeds. Crunchy seeds. Sesame seeds are a pantry staple for me, but I have always bought a brand name (which comes it's own jar) as I had never seen the WW brand. When I went to pick up my sample it was not with the branded sesame seeds. I had to ask where they where to find them. They where with the nuts no idea why that is quiet confusing. Comes in a plastic bag that isn't resealable so I have added them to a jar on my spice rack. I used them in one of the ways I normally would - as a topping on my tuna on toast. They tasted like any other sesame seed I have tried, so comparing them to my use all they where equal in taste, crunch and freshness. Price wise they are cheaper at 16c/100 the branded 20c/100g. I would consider purchasing them again if I needed them and I haven't been able to get my brand on special.

Open Sesame. Wow what can I say Fantastic product. Versatile for both sweet and savoury. Small package with huge flavour. I sprinkled some on my bacon and asparagus rolls and they toasted deliciously. I also added these to a summer salad and they added just the right amount of crunch. As I have never used sesame seeds before I really had to stretch my culinary skills and I found a recipe for sesame snaps. They were delicious for an afternoon snack and will become a regular treat for us. I did have a little trouble finding these at my local Woolworths but a lovely helpful assistant directed me to the right area. Great price, great product. If you haven’t tried give these a go you will be pleasantly surprised what you can do with the humble sesame seed.

SensatIonal Sesame Seeds. Got to love it when you receive a sample that you use regularly in cooking. I was really pleased to see this sample in my bunch box. The packaging for these sesame seeds is fantastic as there’s a nice open window so you can see exactly what’s in the pack. A little tricky to find on the shelf as it was camouflaged within the nuts section of my local woollies. But not too much of a drama to find. One of the dishes I used the sesame seeds in was a chicken and pesto dish. I sprinkled them on top of the chicken. They gave an amazing crunchy texture to my dish. Tasting them on their own they are packed full of flavour and they are nice and plump. Definitely a winner in my eyes and certainly comparable to all the other brands that produce sesame ... MoreSensatIonal Sesame Seeds. However this one has an added bonus of a much cheaper price. The pack size is fabulous because it allows for quite a number of meals. I also used them to make some cheesy sausage rolls. I really love toasted sesame seeds, especially on a crunchy pastry. The pack size is awesome and allows for many meals. I feel some honey chicken coming up very soon in my dinner repertoire! These tasty sesame seeds will definitely become a regular in my trolley, mainly because of the high quality matched with a low price. Definitely a winner and one you should try.

A Very Versatile Tasty Seed. Sesame seeds add a crunch to cooked and uncooked foods. These Woolworths Sesame Seeds are grown in India and packed in Australia. They cost around $1 per pack of 100grams and have a 5 HSR. They add a crunchy sprinkled on top of just about any cooked vegie such as broccoli, broccolini, asparagus, beetroot, zucchini. Sesame seeds are so versatile, a finishing touch to a stirfry, in muesli, a crowning glory on breads, in and on breads and muffins, adding crunchy texture to a sandwiches, home made Tahini, as a garnish and for coating cheeseballs.

I love LOVE them!! I absolutely LOVE sesame seeds!!This pack is most delightful in every way with the low cost, the peekaboo window on the pack so I can lovingly look at them in store, right down to the delightful and delicious tasty goodness just waiting inside to be devoured! I think I might enjoy them more than most and my favourite way is to give them a quick toast in a dry frypan to enhance the fabulous flavour. As they start to toast my mouth waters with excitement and sometimes I can't wait for them to cool down as I steal a cheeky taste. They are the perfect healthy addition to add to all your dishes - from homemade bread/rolls, add to dressings/salads, putting some inside sandwiches, to a tasty crunchy topping on a favourite in my household of Sesame Seed ... MoreI love LOVE them!! They have a '5 star health rating' clearly displayed on the front of the pack and get the 5 star health and taste rating from me too. The only suggestion would be for a resealable pack and of course if you made it in a larger size then I would be most excited as it would mean I get to enjoy more of this delicious healthy ingredient!

Versatile and tasty. I had always wanted to make my own tahini and this product gave me that chance. Product size was good for what I was making however the only reason I gave the sesame seeds 4 stars is due to the fact that when I measured out the contents it was less than 100g, it measured out as 70g. I understand with such a small product that there can be done weight variation. Sesame seeds toasted nicely and crushed up really well to give a smooth tahini when oil, water and lemon juice were added. I then used the tahini to make hummus and it gave a great nutty and well rounded taste. I also used the tahini to make a delicious salad dressing. Very versatile ingredient and great price!

Versatile. Versatile product to use and I have in the pantry all the time. Sprinkle on thai chicken sausage rolls and pies with light egg wash for decoration. Used to toss on lightly steamed vegetables such as snow peas, asparagus, carrots, capsicum, mini broccoli, and beans to serve. Especially like with a shake of changs crispy noodle salad dressing which is gluten free. I do notice that gluten may be present in the sesame seeds advice on the packet. This product good value for money and use by date 7 months away. Have opened packet and stored in an airtight container as is recommended on the packet. This product is grown in India.

Not a product I buy. I have never purchased sesame seeds so this was a new product all together for us. I used them to sprinkle over my marinated chicken legs that I made for dinner. I plan to use them next time I make sausage rolls as well. The product is a source of fibre and contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. It has a 5 star health rating. Packed in Australia, however grown in India. Overall not a product I would buy again. The reason being, I have quite happily cooked without them for years and I didn’t find they really added that much extra flavour. The fact they are a product of India also means they will not make it into my shopping trolley.
