Great in my pasta dish. This was the second of 3 baby food items I received as Bunch samples. The first one I gave to a friend to use as she had a toddler. But this time I decided to use it myself. I tasted it straight from the package and thought it was ok. Anyway so tonight I decided to make a mince pasta dish for dinner to use up a few things from the fridge and pantry. I decided to put this into it also. I also added a chopped zucchini, a can of capsicum that I had in the pantry for a while, a can of corn, onion, garlic, a tomato based sauce and some herbs. Price was $1 for the 120g pack. Although it is not something I would buy as I don't have any very young children in the family, I would think it would be appealing to a toddler.

Sampled it in the supermarket! Baby girl did not like being in the pram during my grocery shop so thought I would introduce this sample to keep her entertained for 5 mins while in the supermarket. How convenient!Again for me, the colour was a bit dull brown and off-putting. Similarly the texture was not as creamy as what I would expect from something described as custard. The strawberry flavour was also a bit bland. I appreciated that the product has no added sugar as well as no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Knowing the product is made in Australia from at least 82% Australian ingredients is also assuring. For the low price, I would likely re-purchase but would probably stick to other flavours in the range that baby girl enjoys more.

Okay. Glad I have a lil one who enjoys these as it looks like I'm on the baby food train. Not complaining but I wouldn't usually buy these as they get a bit expensive and this specific flavour was pretty bland. I would buy if I was out for the day maybe. He didnt seem to like this one as much as the pumpkin one we had. Easy to squeeze into a bowl or straight onto a spoon. I'm sure he could eat straight from the pouch when he's older but I've read about mould so I'm a little suspicious (not in this brand, just pouches as a whole). Lovely colourful packaging. Very appealing. Have to scan the shelf for the right flavour as there is lots to choose from. Not a bad thing. 82% aussie ingredients. Could be higher as always

Well priced and importantly, a hit with kids. This was trialled by a 15 month old. He's no longer a fan of just soft/smooth foods, so we mixed this in with tiny bites of veggies and chicken. A clean bowl and dirty mouth were the end result, so I'd say it was a success. While his parents cook veggies like this for him, they have found that these packs are great for older kids when they go out to eat.. They cut up bits and pieces of their own meals and mix it in with these veggie pouches. It's easier for kids to eat, the restaurant doesn't have to be inconvenienced, and it ensures kids get some of their daily veggies. It's a bit sad when its ingredient list is quite minimal and readily available here, and yet product contains only 63% Aussie ingredients. My grand daughter who is 16 months old wasn't inpressed and didn't like it, and neither did her mum. I was thinking of giving it to me 5. 5 month old grandson who would have probably have woofed it down, but thought otherwise seeing he in new to solids. Unfortunately I was charged for the product, but Woolies reimbursed me with a $5 credit to spend in the store which was very kind of them. Disgusting. I wasn’t sure where to locate this product, tried the aisle were the butter/yoghurt is, then the jelly/custard aisle then found it in the baby food aisle. Very attractive packaging and $1 for 120g we were excited to give it a try. The pouch is plastic and would be convenient to toss in a bag without worrying about it leaking or breaking. It had an easy twist top as well. Then it all went wrong. It smelled awful like bananas decaying. To serve the instructions state “simply empty the contents into a bowl or straight onto a spoon”. Squeezing it into a bowl it even looked disgusting a horrible brown. Along with the smell it really was uneatable. Not something I would normally purchase given custard is so easy to make fresh as required. If l was to buy it, I ... MoreDisgusting. Convenience. My granddaughter loved it. I had a little taste and it was not overly sweet which was great. She finished it off in a hurry and was looking for more which is good news. Its handy 120gm pack with no added salt or artificial colours, flavours or preservatives makes it a great essential meal to go anywhere with it and great to feed hungry little ones and has a long best before date which means you could keep supplies handy for times you dont have time to cook a meal up. Love the fact you could see through from the bottom of the pack the colour, texture and it is made in Australia but from at least 88% Australian ingredients. Does not say where the balance 12% comes from??

So ingredients wise, it's great for babies and toddlers. I do have to point out that while there is no added sugar, it doesn't make the product sugar free. With milk and fruit being the main ingredients, it means it still contains sugar. Having said that, I tried some and it was pretty bland and didn't taste very sweet to me. It's a convenient snack, so while I'd rather offer my toddler whole foods e. g. an actual banana, this is definitely a good option when you're low on groceries or just need to run out the door!
