I prefer jelly with gelatine, "Aeroplane Jelly for me... ". This jelly had a very mild flavour and was not as sweet as expected. At first I thought maybe it is good that it is not too sweet (healthier), but on reflection, if I am going to eat sweet jelly, I would rather it was sweet, delicious and flavoursome. If it tastes semi-healthy then I would rather have a piece of fruit, which is actually healthy. This jelly had a slight coconut flavour (that I didn't like) and I wondered if it contained coconut. It tasted a bit like an Asian dessert. When I read the ingredients, I saw it contained locust bean, carrageenan and xanthan gum. I think maybe the locust bean was the flavour I had noticed. I wondered why they had not used gelatine. Gelatine has a reputation for being good for gut health and I always think this small amount of protein it is the one saving grace of sweet treats like jelly or Turkish delight! So I was disappointed that it didn't contain gelatine and I think this was reflected in the bland, watery, mild, coconut (locust bean/carrageneen?) flavour. It was also quite a wet, soft jelly. I like my jelly firmer! Sweet water splurted out at me when I peeled off the plastic lid. The jelly had separated in the container. I wouldn't buy any jelly without gelatine again. I just don't like the flavour and texture. I am glad I now know to look for this on labels so I can avoid jelly made with these plant based ingredients.

Better than expected. At $2. 20 per pack these won't break the bank, but certainly aren't as well priced as making your own from powder. Found on the bottom shelf somewhat hiding. The lids are hard to open so I'd suggest if you're purchasing for kids you remove at home and place a silicone lid on top or repackage them in another container. These don't wobble like normal jelly but are still a decent enough texture. I thought they were going to taste bad but I was surprised at the tropical flavour - not too bad at all. Of course these have a million ingredients, which I assume most jelly does not to be taken for health benefits! Ensure you cross check the label for any allergies or intolerances. We picked these up a while ago and still have two sitting in the fridge. ... MoreBetter than expected. The fact they are still there tells me these won't be a repurchase. I did buy some ready made âď¸ jelly when I was prepping for surgery - Pineapple flavour and it was AWFUL. Comparatively I would buy the ready made WW if I wanted to buy again. Alas, its packet jelly for meeee!

Easy school snack. My girls tried these jelly cups, and they had mixed opinions. My younger daughter, who usually dislikes the fruit in regular jelly cups, really enjoyed the texture of these. She found the smell pleasant and liked the taste, though she wished it was a bit more flavorful. My older daughter stored hers in the fridge and loved it cold. She thought the taste resembled Fanta and found it quite pleasant. Overall, both of them enjoyed the jelly cups, with some room for improvement in flavour intensity. Great price and easy snack on the go. Also I can use the plastic containers for seedlings.

Refreshing. Great value. Currently priced at $2. 10 for four cups. The "juice" found on the top layer of the jelly had a prominent pineapple flavour, followed by a hint of mango. Otherwise, the jelly itself had very little tropical flavouring. Unfortunately, there is a significant amount of sugar in one serving, and I am also disappointed that the product is not Made in Australia (it is Made in China). I would only recommend this product for a quick and easy snack for the kids after school, or for their lunch boxes... but I much prefer Aeroplane Jelly - better flavour and I have fond memories associated with Aeroplane Jelly. I enjoyed my sample however do not intend on purchasing the item myself.
Sweet and Refreshing Tropical Treat! The jelly has a vibrant, tropical flavor that's both refreshing and satisfying. Each serving is just the right size for a quick snack or a light dessert. The sweetness is well-balanced, not too overpowering, and the texture is perfectly wobbly, just as jelly should be. Itâs also convenient to have four servings in one pack, making it great for sharing or for keeping in the pantry for when you want a little something sweet. Overall, it's a tasty and affordable option for a fruity snack.
Kids enjoyed it. My kids had previously tried the mango flavour jelly in this range which they enjoyed so they were happy to try the tropical flavour one as well. Both kids said that they enjoyed this tropical flavour jelly however reported similar issues as last time: - Messy because of all the juice/water in the jelly cup (they ended up sipping it all first before eating the jelly)- My daughter was unable to open the jelly herself (plastic film was too tight) while my son opened it on his own but his hands were covered in the juice/water- Both kids liked the tropical flavour but said it was not as strong/fruity as the mango flavour HSR is 0. 5 which is not ideal and given the mess, I would not include this in a school lunch box however it is convenient and very ... MoreKids enjoyed it. As the kids enjoyed it and it is a product aimed at kids, I will recommend it but I would not have it regularly (will not be a staple in our pantry) - this will be an occasional affordable treat for the kids if they request it.
Convenient Snack. We tried this Tropical jelly and found it super convenient as it can be stored in the pantry and unlike homemade jelly it doesnât go runny. So putting it into a lunchbox is easy. One of the main reason for taking off a star was mainly because it is made in China. Iâm not that keen on food made in China and would prefer Australian made but other countries for certain items are ok but definitely not China and itâs not like the product has ingredients that cannot be easily be produced in Australia. That being said the taste of this product is very nice. It definitely has a nice tropical fruit flavour that comes through and it is nice and smooth and pretty much tastes like jelly. Perfect size for either the paint or for water for dipping the brushes in to rinse them before using another colour paint or even glue! The jelly is easily opened although when we did open and little bit of liquid did spill but they are sealed well but not super hard to open like some similar products. So if you needed a jelly that needed to be in a lunch box then I recommend these one but would definitely look to see if there was an Australian alternative.
Convenience in a 4 pack. Packaging is sturdy and suitable for a family as there are 4 containers in one pack. Upon reading the labels, was rather dismayed to find 'Made in China' on the labelling, which makes me ask why. Opening of the jelly pods was difficult for arthritic hands and the jelly is of good thick consistency however rather boring on flavour for oneself as it was very sweet. The family appreciated the convenience of this snack food and commented that it 'was okay'. For those who like to browse their grocery cupboard, this would be a reasonable buy.
Yuk! I am sorry to say but this is the worst taste sample I have had. It has a rubber texture and despite saying tropical flavour I could actually taste paprika quite strong as an aftertaste. It is made in china so has quite a carbon footprint. It has masses of ingredients so making it a bit of a nightmare for little kiddy sensitive tummys. I am baffled how it has a two star health award as the taste and the texture felt so artificial to me. My three year old grandson who normally loves jelly did not like this at all. Sorry but this is not on my shopping list.
Wibble wobble, wibble wobble... Jelly on a plate! Not sure what to say about these. They were okay, I wouldnât say they were fantastic but I wouldnât say they were horrible either. You have to be careful when you open them otherwise the liquid will spurt all over you. Probably best to open them over the sink otherwise youâll be wearing it like I did. Although, I must admit it did smell a lot better in comparison to the can of tuna that I spilt on myself earlier. I have bought these before as my daughter is a jelly monster but she wasn't too fond of the flavour of these so I'm stuck with eating them myself unless I can palm them off onto my nieces and nephews. Think she prefers the one that has the fruit in them and so do I! Not impressed that it contains carrageenan ... MoreWibble wobble, wibble wobble... Jelly on a plate! Not impressed that it contains carrageenan as it doesnt work well for people who have intestinal troubles and can give me shocking stomach cramps so I have to be very careful on what I consume. Also not so good that they are a product of China. Iâm not so sure I will buy these again, only because they wonât get eaten, and I prefer other flavours of Jelly with less packaging. Good that they are a bargain price if you are on a budget but I think that might be where the positives end. Don't think I am a fan of these... ââď¸
