Good competitor. I like that Woolies has moved beyond the cheap $1+ bread offerings and have expanded into the "bread with good ingredients" arena. The bread was a tad tough but tasted good. It complemented my ham and cheese, peanut butter, egg mayo and canned luncheon meat meals though eating it on its own is not recommended cause of aforementioned toughness. I overall enjoyed this brand of bread nonethess and would recommend it for your kid's after soccer practice sagga BBQ get togethers (if that's a thing).

Prefer Woolies Bakery. Positives: • It’s Soft • Great Size Squares • Love the sandwich suggestion on the back • PriceNot so positives (negatives ): • Unless you chew it until it’s paste it sits in your throat • Makes you feel bloated (like instantly), hardly how Hi-Fibre should make you feel • Toast was cold before it hit the plate (remember when toast melted the butter? Yeah me too ) • Woolies aren’t getting my money for this bread unless I’m doing a fundraising sausage sizzle... even then I’d ask if they would donate it first Recap: Back to the bakery for me. Lucky my Woolies bakery is just as good as the local guy down the street. If you want Hi-Fibre - Eat Fruit!

Great bulk-buy bread. Liking the packaging of this series of Woolies hi-fibre breads. Size of loaf is great. Size and thickness of slices are good too. Price: very affordable. Good one, Woolies. Seriously, for the price this is far better than some cheap loaves that seem to have no substance at all and are ghastly the day after. Kids did not like the soft, pale crust. They are getting spoilt with some other fresh-baked options with amazing crust-factor - but that is not what this loaf is all about. This bread works great for those everyday snacks (toasted sandwiches, jaffles) and bigger events (sausage sizzles, pinwheels/rollups) that need a reliable, soft, delicious and non-crumbly slice that you can rely upon. If I weren't working on my will-power lately, I would ... MoreGreat bulk-buy bread. Liking the packaging of this series of Woolies hi-fibre breads. Size of loaf is great. Does not fall apart. Have been super impressed with this range of Woolies Breads, this one is no different. Multi Grain, Wholemeal and now the White, are now our sliced bread of choice. Packaging looks good, 4 health stars, on my pack it states 91% Aussie ingredients, High in fibre, Good size squares of bread, No added sugar just 700g of yummy bread. Sandwiches, toasted, french toast, toasted sandwiches, bread and butter puddings, I could go on and on. If you've not tried this range of bread, do yourself a favour and grab one when next in store. No more do you have to pay over $3. 00 for quality sliced bread, at $2. 20 it's the knees. My all time fav filling, Peanut Butter, Honey and Alfalfa Sprouts. Sweet and Crunchy all in one perfect bite.

Soft and Fresh. Hubby came home with this product when I sent him out for bread. The slices are nice and big, which is great when making a sandwich but the slices are a bit too big for our toaster. This bread is soft and I like that it contains more fibre than regular white bread. It is also a great price when compared with other 'brand name' hi-fibre white breads. It maintained its fresh taste over a few days and was a hit with the whole family. I normally purchase the fresh bakery-baked bread, but this is an excellent substitute in a pinch.

Surprisingly good. I'm OCD when it comes to bread. for me it MIUST be fresh. when I buy pre-packaged bread, unless it's 5 days before Best Before, I don't buy it. I hate stale bread. As soon as I get home, it's straight to the freezer. I mostly buy graining/wholemeal/sourdough bread. White is fine if it's crusty. So I wasn't expecting much from this product. When I went to fetch my sample I rummaged around to find find 5 day BB, none, there were just 3 & 4 day. Hmmm I thought, stale white bread, oh well at least I'm not paying for it. Well I got it home, fetched the butter & vegemite (the best spreads to test bread). I pull one slice out. it's surprisingly soft. I was expecting dry. I performed my usual Fresh Bread test, fold the bread in half, if it's a day old, ... MoreSurprisingly good. I performed my usual Fresh Bread test, fold the bread in half, if it's a day old, the crust splits, if it 2+ day old, the bread splits too. Well waddya know, no split crust, no splt bread. So I tried another slice, the same, and another..... it's fresh! like baked today fresh!i spread on the butter. No ripping, the butter sticks and spreads evenly, that's a good sign. I dab the vegemite on. I take my first bite. The crust is soft, the bread is even softer, thick and chewy. Not bad, not bad at all. There's not much flavour, so I would suggest it's better suited to sandwiches, such as turkey (which is delicate) and being doughy, it'll be good for tinned tuna as it'll help absorb the juice. It's also perfect for a sausage sizzle in the park (which is what the rest of the loaf will be used for). If I had to buy white sliced packaged bread, then this would be a great choice. It certainly is value for money and on par with or better then it's branded counterparts. I'll now try the multigrain counterparts TLDR: Fresh soft, chewy white bread. if that's what you're after, then this is for you.

Soft and fluffy. First thing to say- this bread is hard to get! Been there a few different times of the week and it is sold out! Beautiful texture, holds fillings well without splitting or getting crumply. It can also fold as single slice and still good. I normally avoid buying white bread but this has hi-fibre so it is quite healthy. We always eat our bread fresh, not frozen, so we get to enjoy its softness and taste. Well done Woolies!

Great Value! We loved this bread - usually we opt for wholemeal/multigrain bread so was good to have some white in our life again! Has a great health star rating which I am always on the lookout for and tasted delicious! Soft and fluffy, toasted well and was beautiful fresh. My daughter loved it, crust and all which is a rareity for her! Great value too!Would definately buy this again however in our local Woolworths it was right down the bottom shelf and hard to find! For such a great product I would like to see it up higher on the shelf for everyone to see!

Better Than Expected. I don't usually buy white bread for the family. We prefer wholegrain/wholemeal but I gave Woolworths White Hi-Fibre a go. - Took me five trips to Woolworths before I finally found a loaf! Everytime I went, they were sold out. Don't know whether they don't stock many loaves of this sort in my local store or it is so popular it sells out quickly. Anyway, today I managed to grab the last loaf which was hiding on the bottom shelf. - $2 for a loaf is a great affordable price- The size of each slice is very generous for a loaf this cheap. - The flavour was quite satisfactory but I found the texture a little too soft and it kind of squished together in a lump as I ate it. - I made a tinned salmon sandwich and it was quite filling. *Overall, I found ... MoreBetter Than Expected. For people who enjoy white bread, I think this high-fibre loaf would be a very smart option. Large slices at a cheap price. We will stick to buying our wholegrain/wholemeal bread though as we prefer the texture and flavour.

Nice but a bit bland. I was a bit disappointed to receive this sample rather than a crusty bakery loaf that I would normally choose. But in the spirit of trying new things I accepted the offer and picked it up today. I ate one slice with butter fresh from the bag. Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy it. It wasn't soft enough to be really decadent, and it was generally a bit plain. In the end I added some 100s and 1000s to make a mini fairy bread for the last few bites. I understand some people might like this kind of bread, but it just isn't me. On one final note, personally I disagree with using high fibre as a selling point - I think there are other places you could/should be getting your fibre that are of better nutritional value.
