I read some of the reviews and I was scared there wasn’t going to be any worms but I was so surprised when I realised I got at least 300 mature worms. If you are not sure you can open the box and search through the box. P.S after waiting for a few hours I decided that I wanted to feed them I didn’t expect them to eat immediately but they did.

Set up my small worm farm (Composta) using two of these boxes. Didn't look like a 1000 adult worms, but just going to assume some of that '1000' number comes from baby worms and eggs? Worms were healthy regardless, lotsa new babies, and the worm farm is doing well.

Entire life cycle in a box!

Perfectly suited to the Tumbleweed Can O Worms.Insee people are getting it wrong. There is only about 200 adult worms, HOWEVER, there is a significant amount of young worms and eggs. There is well over the 500 on the box plus a whole life cycle.

Happy healthy worms
1 January 2023

I ordered a box via special order through the Airlie beach store, I collected them the same day. The next day I opened them to put them straight into our worm farm to find them literally cooked. Super smelly and not a single live worm. I immediately returned them. Jas on the special orders desk and the manager were fantastic! They immediately organised a replacement box, which was full of healthy happy worms. Almost a month on and they are thriving, could not reccomended enough. Guessing the first box got cooked in the truck or someone left it in the sun? I would reccomended opening your box immediately upon purchase so you can return it if needed without too much hassle.

Misrepresentation - only less than 50 worms
27 September 2020

I bought mine in early September when it was still cool - but still got only less than 50 worms at the beginning. Definitely not 500 live worms. It has already been 3 weeks and the number is still far below 500 although there are some babies.

More like 10% of what it says it has.

No where near 500 worms. I literally counted them when i spread em on my compost bin. More like 50. The amount of bad reviews shows they have been short changing customer for a while?. Very misleading.

No worms
10 April 2022

What a waste of $30! No live worms in the box at all, only a few dried up, dead ones in the bottom of the box. Have written twice to the company who "grew" then for comment and have received no responsewhatsosever. Will now have to spend more money on another lot but definitely not from this company.

Not many worms
1 September 2020

I just received this pack of worms. Many were lifeless and lucky to be 50 worms I could count... not great value. Hopefully the lifeless looking ones come to life by some miracle. I wonder how long they had been sitting on the shelf.

Worm Booster Box
14 September 2020

I was a bit dubious about this product after reading negative reviews. I opened the box in the store and could site at least 50 worms through the bag so I purchased to give it a go. When I emptied the worms into my new farm I could see a good mix of adult and baby worms, I could see at least 200ish but they like to hide, I had to gently take out 5 tiny baby worms before disposing of the bag, no dead worms, all seemed to be wriggling and healthy. I would suggest having a look before purchasing as it is a live product but I’m happy with my purchase.

I purchased this box thinking it would be filled with worms, when I got home there were only a few adult worms and the rest were pot worms! Would not recommend
