I haven't used it, but the person helping me in the garden has. He put it together, read the instructions and cut the long Privat hedge., he was happy with it. I was happy as I could use the battery & charger that I have for the strimmer - win win situation.

I am retired so not as fit as I was so I needed a trimmer that would be light to use for an hour at a time. I also have 200 mts of Privit hedge that needs trimming twice a year so I needed a powerful tool and this 20v model did the job. The batteries last about 20 mins and as I already have 10 other Worx tools I have plenty of batteries and chargers, so I have 3 with me and 3 more on charge. I find that I can cope with an hour cutting in the morning, and then after sweeping up the cuttings, an hour in the afternoon using my second batch of batteries For cutting the thicker hedge branches back 1 have a Worx mini hand held chain saw and a Worx electric saw. This battery powered hedge cutter is the easiest cutter I have ever used, it is lighter and feels better balanced than my old corded one of the same size with much less vibration back through my hands. Very pleased with my purchase, I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a small bladed hedge cutter. It is well worth the price, I bought the bare unit as I already have batteries and a charger with my Worx lawnmower so didn't need to more.
