Disappointed in condition. Disappointed in limited leg leng
After many tries to know exactly what size to order (straight leg that sounded like a narrower leg was always too baggy) I finally found the right size to order. Except, I just can't understand why I can't get length of 28 ". I'm not that different from normal that you wouldn't supply 28" leg size. I always have to pay to get them cut shorter.Anyway, I want to have creases in front and back both for the looks and to make it easier to fold every time I wash them. So I press in the creases after the first washings. I am unhappy that these two pairs arrived in a carelessly folded state that put in unwanted creases and wrinkles that are hard to iron out. Apparently they were poorly folded for quite some time.... Show more

Disappointing and not what I expected
I find Wrangler's descriptions to be rather poor. These are not the pants I thought they would be. There is barely any flex in the waistband, so I'm disappointed because I thought I was getting flexible pants. Also, the jeans have too much polyester in them for me--I really hate poly and only buy full cotton. (This is my mistake in this case). I was excited because these pants came in a 28 inseam...normally I buy 29, but they can be too long for me (I am short-legged and low-waisted).I have bought other Wrangler jeans that actually flex, and these are obviously not the same ones--but who can tell, when there are 100 different kinds of jeans on the website. So confusing. My search for the pants I have bought before continues. Two stars because my erroneous purchase ... MoreI find Wrangler's descriptions to be rather poor. Two stars because my erroneous purchase could have been avoided with a better, more descriptive website and more clear delineations for the different styles of pants. It shouldn't be so hard to find pants I have bought before!... Show more

Excellent jeans -- But beware of size inconsistencies
I've bought them many times and will continue to do so, they're excellent jeans. But just be aware that black jeans run smaller than blue jeans. I know, makes no sense, right? But TWICE (more than two years apart) I ordered blue and black -- same exact size (40x36), same cut, same everything, just a different color. When they arrived, the black jeans waist was two inches physically smaller than the blue jeans (compared side by side). First time I did nothing, second time I returned and re-ordered 42x36 black jeans. Upon delivery I compared them with the (actually still unworn / unwashed) blue jeans and despite the different labeled size, the waists on both were the same physical size.Makes no sense but apparently a thing. Maybe the black ones are made in a ... MoreI've bought them many times and will continue to do so, they're excellent jeans. But just be aware that black jeans run smaller than blue jeans. Great for work or personal use
My husband has been a pipefitter for 12 years and works a crazy amount for his service department. Needless to say, he has been through his fair share of jeans in those years in all different brands and styles. During his last work jean haul made because his company provided uniform ones are junk, he bought several styles of Wranglers and another brand as we were shopping at a different retailer than usual. These have been his absolute favorite ones out of all that he bought. The extra elasticity of the waistline is very beneficial for him with all the bending & sitting he does at odd angles for his fitting and welding. Only regret is that he only got one pair in each style he bought. Hoping these come back in stock so I can stock up for him for both work and ... Jeans do not have flex waistband
Second time ordering these jeans hoping a mistake wasMade in your shipping department I have ordered twice now two pairs at at time 34x30 & 36x30 with flex waistband! None of these pants have a flex waistband and it's very disappointing because that's the reason I ordered because my waist is changing so I was hoping to have flex in the waist but I'm telling someone has made a big mistake in listing these jeans with Flex waistband because they do not have any flex in the waistband! I have old pairs of wrangler jeans that has Flex waistband but what you all advertised and I purchased does not have any flex what so ever in the waist! Please check these jeans Style#855WAQD out yourself and you will see there is no flex in the waistband!! Very disappointed in wrangler I ... I can't afford to keep shipping them back when I'm not getting what was advertised and purchased!! Please check this out for me and I would like to be contacted with your findings??... Show more

More accurate sizing compared to the non-flex
First off, these 28 x 30 relaxed fit flex Wrangler jeans are sized much better compared to the 28 x 30 and 29 x 30 relaxed fit (non-flex) Wrangler jeans. The waist sizing of the non-flex versions are not even close to being correct. The 28 is a little bigger than the 29, but still a bit small. The waist of the flex version is bigger than the others and actually a bit too big, but multiple washings may take care of that. Also, the 30 length was at least 1 1/2 inches longer than specified on the non-flex version; the flex version looks pretty close to being correct. The flex fabric feels somewhat thinner than the non-flex jeans, but they are quite comfortable. We'll see how well they hold up over time. All in all, I recommend the flex relaxed fit Wrangler jeans. It's ... Regular dude jeans for regular dude.
Hi, are you a guy who knows nothing about clothing or style but are here because you’re just trying to find a regular pair of jeans that just fit . Maybe this is for you. I am also just a regular guy who knows nothing about clothing or style I’m 230 pounds 5’11” tall and wear a size 36 x 30. I lost some weight had to buy my first jeans and a decade and got these online delivered to my house. Not much to say other than they look like jeans, they feel like jeans, and they fit better than my old ones did after losing some weight.First two pictures are me wearing these jeans, last three pictures are of me wearing the George “athletic style“ jeans also from Walmart while giving a thumbs up. at first I thought I hated those other ones but turns out I actually like those ... I would give these jeans a five star but again I don’t know anything about anything, so what would make them different than a three or four? So I’ll give them a four star review but just now I have absolutely no complaints about these jeans at all. Hope this review helps you figure out what you wanna do. Have a good one!... Show more

Runs long, sturdy material, not comfy, looks good
If you wear a 30 length, then you need to get a 29 or 28 length, otherwise these pants won’t fit you good. They have a nice jean look. They don’t look corny. Other jeans in this price range look like they’re made out of a cheap material that isn’t really jeans or is trying to be a cross between jeans, work dickies, and chinos. These just look like jeans. They are not comfortable. The material is thick (a feeling, not visibly noticeable), and they are rigid feeling. Hard to explain. It’s not too uncomfortable to wear, just not the same feeing as more expensive jeans. It’s not a cheap feeling, just not a comfortable feeling.I am giving these 4 out of 5 because they need to fix the length. The comfort isn’t a big issue with me because they’re not unbearably ... Something Changed.
I have been wearing Five Star 96501MR's for about 20 years. I loved them.In October 2021, I ordered 5 pair and when they arrived I washed 2 pair and then found that they fit differently. The material feels stretchy, they fit differently and they want to crawl down. I then discovered that the number on them was 1096501MR and they were made in Nicaragua. My old 96501's were made in Mexico. At the same time I had also ordered a pair in black and they were still made in Mexico and fit as all of my previous pairs. When I called customer service to return the unwashed items, I inquired and was told that the weave may have changed. I ended up donating the washed ones because I couldn't stand them.Super disappointing.Several months later I ordered again hoping to get ... Recently I purchased a pair of 100% cotton Rustler's and they have the same crummy fit and feel.I have seen a lot of men wearing the same Five Star jeans as me over the years and am sure many of them are disappointed too.... Waist Size Is Not Correct On The Tag!
I love the comfortable fit of these jeans with the Comfort Flex Waistband and the 4-Way Flex denim(#1039952MI).Due to recent weight loss, I am currently trying to find a 40x32 size that fits!I can find the 42x32 (larger waist) size in several different stores, but the waist is too loose. Whenever I try the 40x32 in ANY store, the waist is like six inches too small! It's that way every time I try that particular size on!I can't even come close to getting it buttoned! It's only one waist size smaller than the 42x32!When I try a 40x34(longer inseam), it fits perfectly in the waist, I'm able to button it and zip it up with no problem. The longer inseam should not change the size of the waist! Why is every 40x32 in this line always too small in the waist?I think you ...
