This is the second pair of this style jeans I have purchased. The first one ripped at the rivet on the rear pocket. I purchased this pair to have as a replacement for the first pair while I sent it to Wrangler to be considered for Warranty. The second pair, the left leg is shorter than the right leg by about a half an inch. I will deal with it as I am not paying to purchase a third pair of jeans and have a possible problem with it. I have purchased other models of wrangler jeans for over 30 years and never had an issue.

These are the only jeans my husband has ever worn and the quality has gone down hill. He cannot even make it through most workdays without having a blowout. These jeans tear right beside the zipper and then continue on down the leg or begin to tear out at the pocket and blowout the entire rear end. This is seriously embarrassing in the construction field when he is a superintendent and has meetings with clients. He should not have to pack an extra pair of jeans everyday. Even with a one year warranty against defects I seem to be returning jeans to the store faster than I can order them. Pretty sad to say that Wal-Mart jeans are holding out better than a truly classic jean. I guess the old saying still rings true "they just don't make them like they used to"

I picked up a pair of the 13MGSSW which is advertised as 14.5oz denim and seems more like light weight dress slacks. So I ordered 4 pair of the 13MGSHD advertised as 15.5oz HEAVY WEIGHT denim and they were even lighter weight. Not sure how they do quality control, but something is terribly wrong. I put them on a scale and even with the tags on the 13MGSHD they weighed 1oz LESS! I have been wearing Wrangler Jeans since the 80's and have always LOVED them. The last Jeans they had worth anything were the 13MWZ's made in Mexico from US fabric. All of them now are what I would call "city jeans" absolutely worthless for anyone who actually works for a living. They have stooped to false advertising in the last few years which is too bad as now I have to find a real pair of ... MoreI picked up a pair of the 13MGSSW which is advertised as 14.5oz denim and seems more like light weight dress slacks. Email me if you ever start making REAL JEANS again.... I am sure this will be swept under the rug as you laugh all the way to the bank....

The fit is great and appreciate the heavyweight denim. These jeans are built to work and last but can still look good with dress boots and a sport jacket. My issue is with the pockets: both from and back pockets are shorter / shallower than other Cowboy Cut jeans. And, the watch pocket is placed at the waistband requiring you to maneuver around your belt to access the pocket. Fix the pockets and you have a 5 star pair of jeans.
These are very good jeans. Not like the junk from Levis. Good looking and nice fit. I bought my 1st pair from Cabela's which, alas, does not carry them anymore. Wrangler did right by having them available right from the web site and honored me with a veterans discount.Only thing that would make these better is if they made them in the USA. But I am glad this might be providing workers in Nicaragua some good jobs too.
Dear TeamI received my order really quick which is fantastic, thank you. Sheplers offers awesome value for money and the only criticism I offer from a distribution aspect is, you stock brands that won’t ship to Australia, when really you should and here’s why. Those brands such as Boulet, Ariat, that won’t ship to Australia are tied up with agents here and often its one agent who ties up multiple brands across the country. Those Australian based agents sell limited styles, rarely have enough stock or sizes and the price is often triple the cost to consumers, using the excuses of being imported etc. and it’s the suppliers or manufacturers fault.More Australians would wear country clothing brands like Justin for example if they were available in Australia and ... MoreDear TeamI received my order really quick which is fantastic, thank you. A fantastic pair of jeans, really comfortable, I’ll use them for field work, but I will be placing an order for the same product only in the original fit and a size down. A demonstration video would have alleviated this and I would have purchased based on real time examples, not a picture of a super model in a photo shopped format. The Khaki casual flats, really soft product, great as a semiprofessional trouser in the office, waste sits a little low and the cowboy cut originals pre washed jean, simply awesome, really comfortable, durable and easy to wear. Will I buy again, absolutely? Cheers.
The fact that these jeans have George Straight’s endorsement has no bearing on my comments. For me the most important feature in any pair of jeans is that they are 100% cotton and these jeans have absolutely zero stretch, perfect!Second feature I look for is comfort. These jeans permit full range of motion without feeling tight in the thighs or seat, ride at the mid waist level and do not fit tight against my boots, perfect again!I can’t comment on longevity yet but I expect them to last far longer than pants that stretch just like the jeans from the 70s and 80s did. Elastic/spandex has no place in a pair of men’s jeans. I guess you can call me old school. The only thing that I wanted which wasn’t in stock in my size when I ordered during the “buy 2 get 1 free” ... MoreThe fact that these jeans have George Straight’s endorsement has no bearing on my comments. For me the most important feature in any pair of jeans is that they are 100% cotton and these jeans have absolutely zero stretch, perfect!Second feature I look for is comfort. I guess you can call me old school. The only thing that I wanted which wasn’t in stock in my size when I ordered during the “buy 2 get 1 free” sale was the lighter blue color. This dark blue reminds me of the old school dress up for a Saturday night at the saloon type of jeans. I am hoping that they will fade some sooner rather than later.I can say that these jeans have dethroned Levi’s 550’s as my favorite jeans to wear. Absolutely comfortable!
I have used Wrangler jeans for 50 years. When Wrangler came out with George Strait version I started using them. Had real good luck until the last couple of years. I ride from 4 to 6 hours a day. On and off constantly. These jeans pull apart at rivets on the back pockets, also the front pockets are so small, you can hardly get hands in them. The front pocket is where I put my wallet. I feel like it's going slip out. I hope this gets somebody's attention and improve quality control. C.W.
These are great jeans however the 36 waist ordered are two inches too big around. Sizing is off on these. Ordered replacements and ordered a 34 and they fit perfectly. I ordered some other Wrangler jeans at the same time and they were also 36 and they fit fine. But these seem to have a sizing problem. Wasn’t happy with the return process. Charged me 10 dollars to return jeans that are sized incorrectly.
Tractor supply assistance and shipping was awesome. I had returned other pants that were way too small. Unfortunately Tractor Supply does not have a good variety of sizes in pants in store. As to the pants, (George Straight boot cut) it seems the waist size runs a bit small. Mine seemed defective in that the right pocket was pinned to the river. Hat to cut it loose. Now I have a hole in my pocket. I opted for this size based on another pair of wrangler jeans. These were noticeably tighter at the waist. Leg area was very comfortable. I’ll buy wrangler pants again. I just wish I could find the other model pants that fit perfect.
