The first time I bought this pair of jeans it was at a thrift store, and it was perfect. The fit was amazing the color was great, and it had 7 belt loops which I love. I liked the pants so much I wanted another color so I tried searching for the same pair everywhere. I used the style number on the thrift pair to search for the same exact pants but I could only find these-which are shown in the pictures to have five belt loops. I decided to take the gamble and bought the same size I found at the thrift store (34 waist when I usually wear 32 or 33) and was so very pleasantly surprised when the pair came with 7 belt loops. They should show the 7 belt loops in the pictures because I think that's one of the best parts along with the red wrangler tag above the right back pocket. Overall great pair of no stretch, all cotton, slightly wider fitting, classic jeans and If they keep making them fit and look like this I'll keep buying them.

These are the best cold weather jeans I've come across and the high rise and long zipper are greatly appreciated. Great job, Wrangler!

More accurate sizing compared to the non-flex
9 March 2023

First off, these 28 x 30 relaxed fit flex Wrangler jeans are sized much better compared to the 28 x 30 and 29 x 30 relaxed fit (non-flex) Wrangler jeans. The waist sizing of the non-flex versions are not even close to being correct. The 28 is a little bigger than the 29, but still a bit small. The waist of the flex version is bigger than the others and actually a bit too big, but multiple washings may take care of that. Also, the 30 length was at least 1 1/2 inches longer than specified on the non-flex version; the flex version looks pretty close to being correct. The flex fabric feels somewhat thinner than the non-flex jeans, but they are quite comfortable. We'll see how well they hold up over time. All in all, I recommend the flex relaxed fit Wrangler jeans. received 2 pairs of wrangler 34 30 straight jeans a few years ago and never used. Everything else in the wash at the time was fine. Quality is Disappointing
21 June 2023

I dont know whats going on but wranglers quality has plummeted. I would expect these jeans to withstand all the work that I do. The first pair I wore split in the crotch and I only wore them 3 times. Then this second pair seem to do better but I've only have them for 4 months or so and same issue starting to rip in the crotch. I've already sent one in for warranty and now im thinking im gonna have to do the second one. I remember ordering jeans from wrangler long time ago and they were the best jeans I ever ordered and durable. It took 3 years before my other jeans completely started to rip and I wore those everyday doing the same work I do now. I have been wearing Five Star 96501MR's for about 20 years. I loved them.In October 2021, I ordered 5 pair and when they arrived I washed 2 pair and then found that they fit differently. The material feels stretchy, they fit differently and they want to crawl down. I then discovered that the number on them was 1096501MR and they were made in Nicaragua. My old 96501's were made in Mexico. At the same time I had also ordered a pair in black and they were still made in Mexico and fit as all of my previous pairs. When I called customer service to return the unwashed items, I inquired and was told that the weave may have changed. I used to be ride or die for the U-shape Wranglers. I haven’t been able to find them anywhere and I found these Relaxed fit w/ flex. These are hands down the best jeans I’ve had in a really long time, maybe ever. These jeans, when u choose the correct size actually fit like a glove while still loose at the same time. It’s all from the flex Jean fabric which is awesome, letting you walk and sit down with ease. These jeans are super lightweight. The Wranglers I wore in the store must have weighed an extra 2 1/2-3lbs. The fabric is soft and super thin compared other jeans I’ve owned. Guys these are a total game changer you have to try a pair for yourselves and at the price they are selling for at Wal-Mart why not get 3-4 pairs. Personally I like the darker color jeans they look great. Also, I was absolutely certain I was a 38w. I’ve lost a lot of weight and the 38w in this cut were extremely huge compared to the 38w Wranglers I have at home. I was able to fit into a 36w easily and they fit great. I went home threw out all my jeans in the closet and ordered more online. Walmart has a larger selection of Jean colors to choose from on the internet but, I recommend going to the store and trying these on first. Grab your normal size and a size below what you normally wear when u try these on because, these are cut different. You will be surprisingly satisfied with these particular jeans ! Wrangler don’t quit on these ever!

The only reason I have to replace them is that I have lost some weight. Are there 3 belt loops or 5? Why are there so many complaints regarding the tearing of the rear pockets? I will have to bite the bullet and buy another more expensive pair of jeans. What a shame that these jeans are probably made in a foreign country using cheaper materials and cheaper labor.

I have been wearing jeans for more than 70 years. I've tried common department store brands, the ever popular L. Strause brand, and others. These days, I only buy and wear Wranglers. Over the past decade I've noticed Wrangler Riggs Workwear (WRW) has maintained their quality, where all the others have cheapened down. WRW seems to hold the indigo blue color best, but the other details truly set these jeans above all the others. Details like pocket edge reinforcements, front pocket tape measure reinforcement, larger stronger pockets, all attest to WRW superior quality and wear-life. Seven loops better distributes the weight around the waist, and often eliminates the need for suspenders when wearing work accessories and tool belts. Such a small detail but a huge advantage. These are the high spots of the WRW advantages, try them, you won't be disappointed.
