Best value for 70s Leisure-type slacks!

These are great slacks that inject retro flare into your outfit. Quality and fit is on point!Sizing is only controversial because most people are used to buying pants with vanity sizing meaning that most makers will deliberately mislablel pants to make consumers think they are slimmer than they are. The Wrancher slack, like the Coyboy jeans, run true to size in that you should buy the labeled size that matches your waist measurement. That said, the cut is best for someone with slim thighs, hips, and behind. I can see how someone with more developed lower body would find this slack hard to fit properly. Black is Tighter Than Heathered Grey in Same Size

You would think a mass manufactured product like this is standardized. Bought two black and one heathered grey. The black pairs are both significantly tighter than the heathered grey. Overall these pants are very, very tight. I'm on a weight loss mission so these will eventually fit great but be aware the fit is very tight, especially in the crotch area. If you don't like your pants tight, these are not for you.

I have 3 pair of these dress jeans

I bought one pair of the dress jeans. Because others had said they run small I ordered a size larger than I normally wear. They fit perfectly and I bought two more pair. I could not be happier with them. I have washed them several times now. I hang them up while they are still hot from the dryer, wrinkle free and they still have as good a crease as when they were new. If you are looking for washable, nice pants you can't go wrong with these.

I would love these in a low rise version
19 June 2023

I used to sell these to old cowboys who liked to look nice on Sundays. They had an "old man pant" label given to them that feels misguided. They have a ton of potential.Truths/facts:- Boot cut dress pants are very hard to find- these look great with a suit jacket- I wear a 31x34 in slim boot cut retro jeans, but 35x34 in these- If these had a low rise waist, I'd own every color

My regular size would have been fine
17 May 2023

I'm 5'7", 155lbs, average to athletic build. I usually wear a 31 or 32 waist and 29-30 length (depending on desired fit). After reading countless reviews that they run super tight, I sized up and ordered a 33 waist, 30 length. The fit was okay but they were loose all around. (including waist and thighs)I'm exchanging for a 32 waist, 29 length.Quality is awesome, light fabric but feels well crafted, just should have went with my normal size!

No other jeans like these

These polyester dress jeans are something of an acquired taste, but once you acquire it you'll never go back. I have a number of pairs in different colours and wear them all the time. They're casual enough for work, but are dressy enough to pair with a jacket for more formal occasions. The cut of the cuff is enough to suggest something of a cowboy swagger without going too far into bell bottom territory. I suspect the appeal of these jeans is the way the material and cut suggests something formal, while the jean pockets in the rear hint at something less buttoned-up and more exciting.Just two suggestions: first, like everyone says, get two sizes larger than usual as these jeans ride higher than you're probably used to. That's critical. So if you normally take a 34 ... MoreThese polyester dress jeans are something of an acquired taste, but once you acquire it you'll never go back. Strangelers
6 April 2022

As with all Wranglers I've tried on, they are either way too tight on first wear or they are huge. That's how wranglers are at first; stiff, constricting and weird. I still recommend though with the caveat that you size up or get your size and be prepared for a break in period. I broke in all my wrangler cowboy cut slims and now their perfect, but they are wacky tight the first three wears. Wash but don't dry, squat and get through the stiff beginning and you'll end up with an excellent fit.Fabric is wonderfully soft and breathable for polyester (which overall is still no that breathable. Also has a nice sheen to it that sparkles in the sun.The cut isn't really classic wrangler, but more like cowboy cut slims with slightly more bell like leg. You're gonna notice your pant leg flip and flow as you walk which is a cool effect. Also your butt is going to loom better than it has ever looked before.

Used to like these real well
13 May 2021

I wanted to be happy with these had a pair from many years ago that just finally got to worn to wear. The fabric on these two new pairs has no flex. Fabric does seem like it would still be low maintenance in terms of ironing but the drape of this fabric is not as smooth as my older pair the creases break differently when I shift or bend and I'm not convinced they wouldn't crease if I sat down for a long period. A couple of reviews say these run small and they're not kidding and not by just a size. I normally wear a 44 x 32 so I ordered a 46 thinking that would make the difference nope, can't zip them. The fit is quite strange really I can get them on the seat fits, no problems with the thighs being too tight I can even get them buttoned but I can't zip them and felt ... MoreI wanted to be happy with these had a pair from many years ago that just finally got to worn to wear. Reckon I could go up a size but then I think they'd be far looser than I like my jeans to be while technically fitting if I wore a belt. If you used to own a pair and love them but haven't ordered recently maybe don't set yourself up for the heartbreak as this product has changed a lot. Will be sending these back. Wanted to find something nice to say but I'm just not impressed with the current incarnation of this product at all and there are many Wrangler products that I wear and love these Wranchers just won't be one of them anymore.

Wrangler Sizing
29 October 2022

Much like others have experienced, it seems like every different style of pants from Wrangler has a completely different sizing. I'm a size 29 in the Cowboy Cut jeans and they fit my waist very snug, but comfortably so. I have a pair of these dress jeans in 30 and they're way too tight, I can't even move or bend. A lot of people recommended sizing up, so I bought a size 32 and they are way too big. The pants are super stylish and cool, but unless you know what size you're going to be in this exact style, it might be a gamble.

runs two sizes smaller and shrinks half inch but looks great

We love them! My husband wears a 32 In Levi's but we had to get a 34 - they said it will shrink 1/2 an inch I haven't washed it yet but so far I think it will fit perfectly he loves them and they look great on him . We had to exchange it twice to find the right fit and they were very accommodating - since I bought two pairs the first time when I exchanged it I got the 33 and 34 next time and asked if I could exchange the one that didn't fit and they said no problem - they waived the shipping fees and honored the discount I bought them at and there were no hassles so far (haven't gotten the money back yet but that takes about 15 days wich is standard everywhere and I don't think I'll have a problem .
