I gave 4 stars because this is my first purchase ever of a pair of Wranglers so I'm not sure about longevity. I'm guessing based upon reputation the durability will be good. There is literally nothing about me that is western style or "cowboy" so I felt like I was taking a chance. I was worried about them looking too "western" but they look fine even with a polo shirt and any pair of regular shoes or casual ankle high boot. I had been wanting a regular fitting denim jean in a charcoal or dark gray color as a base for the rest of my casual style but all I was coming up with in my searches were jeans with the stretch and it seems these days that's about all there is to offer. I hate the stretch so this was a strong selling point for me. So far the fit is good. I have ... I have long legs so I was happy to see the 34" length was more than adequate as compared to other jeans I have had where a 36" length would be too long but their 34" is good when I stand but hike up as soon as I sit. So far these do not. I also noticed when trying to put something in the back pocket that the pockets seem to be set slightly higher than what I have always been used to with other brands but that's no issue. As long as the other brands want to keep making the stretch stuff with no other options then I will keep buying these.

I bought these jeans 4 years ago just before I moved to Alaska to run tours in the back country. I bought these thinking they would be my off-duty jeans but they turned out to be my daily, nightly, go anywhere, do anything, constant companion jeans. I've climbed mountains, run from caribou, worked construction, gone on dozens of dates, ridden 1000's of motorcycle miles, and most importantly LIVED in these jeans. They are the jeans I reach for time and time again when I need a pair of pants that will handle everything and anything the day can bring. As a 6'0 135lb it's not easy to find jeans that fit my frame AND make my butt look darn good. Every time I put them on my girl tells me how good they make me look, even though there's motor oil stains on the thighs, epoxy ... I have probably 5 other variations of the cowboy cut but in my opinion, nothing comes close to the 938NAV. They break in like an old friend, and quickly too. After 4 years they're finally starting to get a hint of a hole in the knees, so a new pair is in the near future but these babies will never come out of the rotation. Do yourself a favor and buy em, you'll thank me later. Thanks for having my back(side) Wrangler

This is my third pair of Wrangler jeans of this 13MWZ model. My other pair is Bleached and one of them is a Blue. Those did me well. Other black jeans tend to have this bad chemicalish smell to them and some have even had the color fade after washing them. These do not seem to have the smell but I have not washed them yet to test if the color washes off or not. A problem that is with all the 13MWZ jeans is the shallow pockets. I love these jeans except for that. The Shallow pockets are very annoying and painful because when you place your phone in the front pocket and then bring your leg up when putting your leg up on a bench to tie shoes or walking up stairs and other areas where you bend, the phone stabs into your waist area(beltline?). I have to take care of this ... MoreThis is my third pair of Wrangler jeans of this 13MWZ model. My other pair is Bleached and one of them is a Blue. Those did me well. I have been buying Wrangler jeans from Sheplers for years and years. These jeans are perfect in every way. They were made in Nicaragua and the material is excellent quality denim as is the fit and finish. They are perfect. The only mistake was one that I made and it is not a biggie: I should have ordered the style that is not so tight in the seat. I used to order 13MWZKL, which are brown denim Wrangler jeans that have a bit more room. These look good on me but my wife says I am too old for tight jeans! Since I don't have an ounce of fat on my I have to say that these pants are for very thin people. Still, the quality is there and I appreciate that. The chocolate brown denim replaced my lifelong usage of blue jeans once I saw how cool that brown color looks---I ... MoreI have been buying Wrangler jeans from Sheplers for years and years. I'm 6'2" 220lbs so Im not a small guy. I bought the 40/30 and the waist fits fine but these do not fit as a slim pair of pants AT ALL. The description says the leg opening is 16.5" but when I put these on its more like 19. I even measured with body tape. These look incredibly baggy on me and I don't understand why. I have 17in calves and these are not tight on me or slim fitting whatsoever and I've seen other reviews saying they're too tight. This is my first pair of Wranglers cowboy cuts and I'm disappointed in the way they fit me. I simply wanted a pair of pants that would contour a little more to my body with that slimmer look and they don't at all. I have a pair of Wrangler realxed boot cut pants that are slimmer fitting than these. I've added photos for context.
Ugh. So I do love y'all's jeans! But my only complaint is that I'm a woman and I have to buy your jeans in men's because y'all's women's sizing is so small! I'm an Amazon woman, very proportionate but also a giant. I want to buy clothes that are made for women but I'm always stuck going to the men's department and then the crotch area always fits bad. I refuse to buy jeans that have stretch/not-100% cotton because they are usually poorer quality, break down fast and I deserve real materials of this earth that we work on! Anyway, y'all do make some of my fave jeans but I just want your woman's department to stop sectioning off the plus size section as something separate with limited options, open up the size pool of your normal woman's styles to larger sizes! I went on a road trip to go shopping about a month ago. I found a pair of the Prewashed Tan as well as the 936DEN in my size at Boot Barn. They were one size larger than I was hoping to find, but I bought them anyway, because I didn't want my expedition to be one from which I returned empty-handed.With the 936DEN, you know what you are getting. They are my favorite Wrangler jeans (whether in 936 or Original or Relaxed - Rigid Unwashed is the way to go). With the Prewashed Tan, which look great in the photos, I feel like there are improvements that could be made. The fit is great. The quality is great. However, it would be cool if: 1) The Prewashed Tan was NOT Prewashed - if it was RIGID and UNWASHED, because then if you are stickler for keeping clothes as ... The fit is great. The quality is great. However, it would be cool if: 1) The Prewashed Tan was NOT Prewashed - if it was RIGID and UNWASHED, because then if you are stickler for keeping clothes as new-looking as possible for as long as possible, you can treat them with a dye fixative such as Raycafix, like I have done to a few pairs of Wranglers and other items of clothing I have bought in the last few years, and then the color will hold for longer - This Tan, Prewashed as it is, really looks more like a dull beige than an actual Tan; and 2) Fully Wrangler-ify it. Make the stitching on the back pockets and elsewhere the same tan contrast stitching that is on your 936DEN and most other colors (except for the darks and neutrals, such as Shadow Black, ***Nightfire***, Charcoal Gray, your brown shades, and others - all of those should have the classic tan stitching as well). All of the Wranglers in your mainline styles should be completely Wrangler-ified with the classic patch and stitching.
Well to tell you the truth. That I do still by jeans from here but sometimes I think the problem is is that the jeans are Not what it used to be. And the jeans that I wear is size 27x34 and those jeans are Not 27x34 at all because I am a very skinny guy and those jeans don't fit because they feel like that they are size 28s around the waste and they are baggy and those are Not slim jeans and most likely they are straight leg jeans instead of slim jeans. And I usually buy the jeans 0936den size 27x34 most of the time and back the jeans were great back then But Now Not so much anymore because Now the jeans are made in Mexico City instead of being made here in America and I don't know why they changed that and they don't know how to measure and they don't know what ... Because I don't like to waste my money on stuff that don't work because it's very disappointing and I don't like that and I'm thinking that I should return my jeans back and get my money back for poor quality and wrangler jeans company Needs to get their act together and fix the problem and I like my jeans to be tighter around my waist and tight around my legs But Not super tight No where I can't button No. But I like to have my jeans tight on my legs and thighs and waist and Not loose because the jeans that I have right Now are droopy and they are loose around my butt and they suck and they are the worst jeans that I ever purchased and I don't like them at all. Because I have spent a lot of money on that and what a waste and for goodness sake please get your act together for real because I hate wasting money that doesn't work.
I needed a proper pair of jeans for horse riding that looks nice also for everyday occasions and I found the perfect model for me. I was new to the 100% cotton denim, they feel tight and rigid at the beginning, almost like you took one size too small, but once they break in, after wearing them a few times and doing some movement , they get super comfortable, even on the saddle, and they look great. They are slim from the waist to the knees, and regular under, so that they can fit cowboy boots. If you want an "urban" slim jeans , with elastine and kind of tight in the calf, this is not for you.The quality is excellent, only cons is that the 32 lenght that I always wear was a bit too long and I'm 175 cm tall, but nothing a tailor can't fix, or a roll .Other cons, ... Very disappointed in Wrangler. What used to be a reliable brand is now a cheap, quick money grab company with horrible customer service. Jeans are way too tight unless your legs are tooth pick thin. They are extremely uncomfortable, and just look cheaply made.I bought 4 pairs jeans while they were on sale buy one get one 50% off, all the jeans were the same price. Since the jeans did not fit around my legs (way too tight), I gave them 2 pair to younger cousins as gifts because they might fit them. When I returned the other 2 pairs, I was only refunded for each of the jeans that were 50% off. So I only got 1/3 of my money back for returning half the jeans (again all same price).
