I really like these pants. They are comfortable (98% cotton and 2% spandex in waist. They have belt loops and best of all a great convenient pocket form my cell phone. The only problem is that they wear out too quickly. I bought 5 pair one year ago a wear one pair per week. They have developed splits in the front just below the cargo pocket. I am retired and don't domuch hard labor. My conclusion is that these pants wear out after about 10 weeks of use. However I will continue to buy them as I am hooked on the convenience of the cell phone pocket

I had purchased a pair of these cargo pants from a local department store and wanted a second pair in a different color. However, when I searched online the store no longer had these pants in stock, so by chance I googled Wrangler's web site and found exactly what I was looking for. The price and shipping costs were actually less than that charged by the department store. The pants fit very well. They are - as described - loose fitting. After an initial washing there was little to no shrinkage. These pants are very comfortable. I consider them ideal for informal occasions - running errands, travel, working around the house. In addition, these pants tend to be lighter weight which likely adds to their comfort and fit. Special note: They are, as described, relaxed ... Pros: I travel with these pants. They are utilitarian and the phone pocket is an added benefit. At first I thought that was backward, but right-handers hold the phone with the left and use the keyboard on the right. Good design overall.Cons: My previous Wrangler cargos had velcro closures on the back pockets. These have no button, snap or velcro. Not good. Also, the fabric is thin. I was expecting something a little more robust. I might buy these again after a few uses to see hope they hold up after several uses and washes.

For the price paid on Wrangler's website vs the usefulness and reasonable durability, I have developed the opinion over the years that these stretch cargo pants are a very good value. If light weight versatility is important to you, these are your ticket. If long term durability is most important, these may not suit you. They are light in weight, thin, flexible and ever so versatile/practicable. They are thick enough to protect from brush and bark, but tear easily when snagged on barbed wire. Because they are light weight, I can wear my belt loose enough so as not aggravate my back injuries. Conversely, I can fill the cargo pockets with interesting rocks while hiking without consequence. I generally wear out the knees first. Paint splatter and holes in the knees ... Paint splatter and holes in the knees usually force them into retirement. They are flexible so you can manage those high steps and stretches when hiking without your pants working against you or pinching those sensitive body parts. They come in a very good variety of colors and sometimes even camo patterns. Many of the colors are very much based in nature. I prefer hiking in subtle nature tones. Good luck on your decision.
I buy these Wrangler cargo pants often at Walmart. They don't have a good selection in the local store, so I've been buying them on line, which has *usually* been OK.I bought two of the same pairs, but different colors, and they came in one package. What I received was not what I ordered and were not made by Wrangler. On Walmart.com it says Wrangler, but these are definitely something else. One of the pairs I received today, Elmwood Twill color, has an elastic waistband, a drawstring AND belt loops. The label in the back is almost all Chinese(?) writing. The cargo pockets do not have Velcro closures but use a large button. Same with the one back pocket. The other pair, Barley color, has no elastic, but belt loops. The label in back only says 5XL and a row if ... MoreI buy these Wrangler cargo pants often at Walmart. The two back pockets are 3 inches across and 4½ inches deep (my wallet won't fit, even if emptied).Neither pair has a label with content or washing symbols or instructions, or the Wranglers label stapled to the back pocket. Both pairs have the correct size as ordered marked on the bag they came in, 40 x 32, but one pair is labeled 3XL and the other is 5XL.I did not bother to try either on. They're both flimsy, cheap light weight material and are going back.
I chose Relaxed fit Cargo Pants COTTON TWILL as labeled with the Khaki color, and moved my selection to the NAVY color. When the arrived, it was cotton FLEX and RIPSTOP and NOT cotton TWILL like the khaki color. I would have GLADLY kept the item in NAVY color if it were available in COTTON TWILL. I am disappointed that this "switch" was somehow made the I selected the NAVY color. I would have LOVED the COTTON TWILL NAVY if it were available. Why was I not "warned" that it was/is unavailable instead of the "switch" that wasa bit of a shock when it arrived. Please, advise me if that item becomes available again in ACTUAL COTTON TWILL like the ones I bought years ago and literally WORE OUT. I was hoping to replace what I'd come to love. Thanks
I have multiple pairs of these pants. A couple pairs are almost a year old and worn for work with not a tear in them, great stitching, thicker fabric and nice fit (manufactured Mexico). Two new pairs of the same pants (manufactured Kenya) are offensively poor quality. Stitching is super loose and looks like it's hand stitched but by a 3 year old, one pair is supposed to be 36 waist and is probably a 40 at best, other pair was worn once and torn at the back pocket stitches. Fabric is noticeably 50% thinner at least. Feeling inside of pant leg on year old pair is the thickness or even thicker than the waistband of new pairs. I'll remind you this is comparing two new pairs only worn once to a pair bought close to a year ago and worn at work and the quality is still ... MoreI have multiple pairs of these pants. I'll remind you this is comparing two new pairs only worn once to a pair bought close to a year ago and worn at work and the quality is still that noticeably off! The new pairs essentially look like they were slapped together with one of those handheld "mending" machines. I mean the 2 new pairs don't even have the wrangler tag sewn onto the cargo pockets ffs. It's disappointing that wranglers quality and durability in their pants has been brought down below a 6 pack of cheap boxers.
Just bought 3 pairs of these pants for my husband for his birthday on end of Nov. The Olive pair that I purchased are my review. Last night when he put them on he reached into the left thing pocket and he noticed it was ripped (where the stitching is stitched to pants). This is unacceptable. I have been buying these same pants for him for years as he loves the way they fit. This is the 3rd time we have had this issue, I only repurchased because he likes how they fit.. I hope Wrangler makes it right. We have been loyal customers for a long while. Now, I don't trust a product that lasts less than 2 months.
Even though the title clearly states 'Relaxed Fit', I have to believe that anyone who wears 34/34 pants would be considered skinny, like me, and I find these pants to be too baggy and loose. If Wrangler made a 'Normal Fit' I would love to try it, but they don't, so I'm disappointed. Furthermore, I bought a few pairs of a 'Normal Fit' flannel-lined Wrangler pant a couple of years ago, but now it's discontinued, which is terribly frustrating. Just when you find something that fits well, it's discontinued, and the not-quite-similar fleece-lined pants are only available in 'Relaxed Fit', again, terribly frustrating. I think the light weight would be nice in the summer time.
I was handed down the wrangler relaxed fit men's cargo pants from a family member. The cut on the cargo pants are some of the best, if not the best cut, I have ever owned. The only downside is the durability of cotton. One pair of the pants that was handed down to me developed a large hole, directly in the buttocks of the cargo pants. I guess it was because the seat of the cargo pants endure the most twisting, torsion & rubbing against itself. Needless to say, the hole opened up right at my "brown eye," showing my underwear if I don't wear matching colors. Therefore, I'm going to changeover to 5.11 tactical cargo pants. I will revisit the wrangler brand of relaxed fit men's cargo pants when they keep the same cut, but change the material their cargo pants are made ...
