I'm a maintenance man responsible for a football field and 2 small school campuses as well as the mechanic for the fleet. I purchased a pair of these a year ago along with 4 pair of denim jeans getting ready for the school year. A year later I still have these pants and wear them once a week whereas the denim jeans wore out quickly and have been replaced. I personally think these are excellent work pants. Great job Wrangler.

Just got them, have worn them 3-4 times. Very nice. Waist sized about right, butt/thigh/legs are quite loose fit so mobility is good. Very few small quibbles, the big one is the tape measure reinforcement on the right front pocket is a synthetic leather that has a relatively high amount of friction, so it is a bit of a challenge to get the tape measure clip to slide over it easily. Front pockets, while not shallow, could be a bit deeper to fit our modern jumbo sized cell phones more easily. A tag is a bit scratchy around the waist; haven't looked into it to see if I can cut it off (forgot when I took them off at the end of the day).Hope they last longer than some of the other brands I've been buying.

These pants are tough, good looking, and I look forward to wearing them for many years. I have a few pairs of Wrangler pants and shirts I have worn for many years. My only problem is finding the size that fits. Because of the limited sizes available I have to have the length adjusted. A cost of at least 60% of the cost of the pants. My size is 34W 27L. Even a 28 length in 34W can't be found.

Durable, comfortable pair of jeans. A go to for work. There are a few weak points though that if fixed would make them even better. The back belt loops seem to separate at the bottom due to minimal reinforcement and stitching. Have 4 pairs, different ages with the loops separated. Even a newer one is coming apart. The base of the fly also developed a wear hole to the left of the stitches. Not sure why. All in all a great pair of jeans, just want them to be better
I like the Wrangler Riggs carpenter jeans for work and leisure. Well made and heavy denim material for durability.Rated good value due to normal pricing. With holiday pricing they are an excellent value.I have two recommendations to make them even better. One the additional tool pocket on the left leg is too shallow. You must be careful not to drop average length tools out of it. (Standard length screwdrivers, etc.) Two there should be additional tool pocket(s) added to the right let also. That way a medium sized flashlight could be stored in one side tool pocket and additional tool(s) in the other tool pocket.
I bought 3 pairs Wrangler Riggs Carpenter jeans. A few months later I bought 3 more pair. The waist is different from the first 3 pairs to the second 3 pairs. The color has started to fade noticeably in the first 3 pairs. Color stay technology?? Now some of the stitching in the belt loops has pulled out of the jeans while remaining in the belt loop piece of material. One pair the material is ripping by the cross stitch in the piece that covers the zipper.
I have used these pants (and shorts) for work for many years now, I really liked them. I like the reinforcement on the front pocket that keeps my tape measure from destroying the pocket. I also like the rear pocket reinforcement for hanging my impacts and drills on. I also love the fact that they put the hammer loop on the right side of the pants so 95% of the population doesn't have to reach across their body to grab their hammer. All great features for days when you just need the basic tools but don't want to carry a full set of pouches. That being said, they have reduced the size of the hammer loop making it almost impossible to insert a hammer without using a second hand. I guess I''ll go back to wearing pouches full time and buying cheaper jeans.
I dont know whats going on but wranglers quality has plummeted. I would expect these jeans to withstand all the work that I do. The first pair I wore split in the crotch and I only wore them 3 times. Then this second pair seem to do better but I've only have them for 4 months or so and same issue starting to rip in the crotch. I've already sent one in for warranty and now im thinking im gonna have to do the second one. I remember ordering jeans from wrangler long time ago and they were the best jeans I ever ordered and durable. It took 3 years before my other jeans completely started to rip and I wore those everyday doing the same work I do now. It's so disappointing having a great brand not just get rid of 38 long jeans but also drop the quality in material. Unless ... MoreI dont know whats going on but wranglers quality has plummeted. I am 6'2" and 280 lbs. Size stated was 44x32, but waist was about 2 inches too short. Also, the rise at the waist in the back was below my waist instead of high at the waist as described in the description. I have a pair of wrangler authentics cargo shorts that are 44x32 and fit me comfortably at the waist with room to spare.I also purchased a pair of Wrangler Authentics Relaxed Cargo Pants in the same size at the same time. They were also tight in waist, but only by a inch. Weird the difference in fit between pants of the same size.
I have been wearing jeans for more than 70 years. I've tried common department store brands, the ever popular L. Strause brand, and others. These days, I only buy and wear Wranglers. Over the past decade I've noticed Wrangler Riggs Workwear (WRW) has maintained their quality, where all the others have cheapened down. WRW seems to hold the indigo blue color best, but the other details truly set these jeans above all the others. Details like pocket edge reinforcements, front pocket tape measure reinforcement, larger stronger pockets, all attest to WRW superior quality and wear-life. However, such a little thing like belt loops is a huge plus over others. Wrangler sews seven belt loops on their jeans as opposed to a puny five on the other brands. Seven loops better distributes the weight around the waist, and often eliminates the need for suspenders when wearing work accessories and tool belts. Such a small detail but a huge advantage. These are the high spots of the WRW advantages, try them, you won't be disappointed.
