The first time I bought this pair of jeans it was at a thrift store, and it was perfect. The fit was amazing the color was great, and it had 7 belt loops which I love. I liked the pants so much I wanted another color so I tried searching for the same pair everywhere. I used the style number on the thrift pair to search for the same exact pants but I could only find these-which are shown in the pictures to have five belt loops. I decided to take the gamble and bought the same size I found at the thrift store (34 waist when I usually wear 32 or 33) and was so very pleasantly surprised when the pair came with 7 belt loops. They are nearly identical to the old pair I found at the thrift store and I'm super happy about it. I guess my only gripe would be that the sizing is a little off, as I stated above in the parentheses, and the model picture was inaccurate on the website which caused me to hesitate buying this new pair for a good while. They should show the 7 belt loops in the pictures because I think that's one of the best parts along with the red wrangler tag above the right back pocket. Overall great pair of no stretch, all cotton, slightly wider fitting, classic jeans and If they keep making them fit and look like this I'll keep buying them.

I would buy this again, if you send the right color.

I would indeed buy these jeans again and again

I purchase men's jeans because I simply will not squeeze myself into 99% Spandex leggings. I look for jeans that are 100% cotton, and you cannot imagine how difficult it is to find them. And even if I can, they're preposterously expensive. $150 or more for a pair of all-cotton jeans? Please. These were reasonably priced, fit beautifully, are made of sturdy cotton, and I just love them. Only one nitpicky complaint: A "run" started to appear in one leg of the jeans. I carefully trimmed it, and I hope it won't turn into a "fashionable" rip at the thigh. (Have you ever noticed that the pre-ripped jeans have rips at the exact same places on every pair? And who, please tell me, rips their jeans at the thigh?)

Incomparable price/quality ratio
24 July 2023

These are my daily jeans, that I wear 2-3 times a week. I've put them through a lot, like a 2 week hitchhiking trip in Europe or some construction work and each pair has lasted me more than 2 years. When the knees tear apart, I'll cut them and make shorts to give them a second life. I love the regular fit (which feels pretty relaxed for me) as it allows freedom of movement while biking or doing anything really. I also regularly get friends ask me where I find these cause they like the way they look. Living in France, I've not managed to find these here so I have my family bring me back two pairs each time they visit the US. The price/quality ratio is that good that it's worth the hustle.

Inconsistent fit
31 January 2023

Several years ago, these jeans, when new, started fitting me differently than my previously purchased Wranglers. They started "flossing" my butt cheeks. The cut changed. And the sizing became erratic. I can try on 3 pairs that are all tagged the same size, and 1 will be too tight around the waist, another too long in length, and another too loose around the waist. Upon returning the items, the Wrangler customer service rep told me she understood, "as the material and cut may be different, especially since they are made in different parts of the country and the world". It's a good value if they fit, but I'm searching for a different brand after 25 years, as the sizing/cut is no longer consistent nor reliable.

Not Exactly What I Thought I Ordered...???

I ordered the "COLOR Vintage Indigo (35001VI)" which is 14.75 oz. fabric. However, the pair I received seems more like the lighter weight stonewashed jeans. I have been wearing Five Star 96501MR's for about 20 years. I loved them.In October 2021, I ordered 5 pair and when they arrived I washed 2 pair and then found that they fit differently. The material feels stretchy, they fit differently and they want to crawl down. I then discovered that the number on them was 1096501MR and they were made in Nicaragua. My old 96501's were made in Mexico. At the same time I had also ordered a pair in black and they were still made in Mexico and fit as all of my previous pairs. When I called customer service to return the unwashed items, I inquired and was told that the weave may have changed. The jeans I always loved
28 May 2022

Seems these are the jeans I always loved. This style of Wrangler jean has always been my go-to jean. For me - WAY better than Levi, Lee, or other jeans. Loved the fit, feel, deep pockets, quality fabric, hardware, etc. Then, I saw changes, as did a lot of other people according to reviews. Comments were that the material was lighter weight, back pockets smaller, front pockets shallower, watch pocket smaller, crotches tighter, waist fit lower to comply with new style trends, etc. This concerned me to the point I started checking out local inventory, trying them on. Yes, it did seem they had changed them - a lot probably having to do with they were being manufactured in a lot of different places. It appeared that what you ended up with depended on what country they were made in, probably what factory. So for 5 years I was afraid to buy these jeans. Finally, I decided if I made sure I only ordered the 96501DS, maybe they might have gone back to the old reliable standard great jean they were before. Well - good news folks! The jeans I received had all the attributes of the old jeans. I'm extremely happy that I have my old jeans back!

Waste of good money; blue dye not set
24 July 2023

I've successfully bought directly from Wrangler before, but this was a disaster. I rinsed the new jeans, put them in the washer, and the blue that came out literally damaged the washer to the point that I had to use steel wool to clean all plastic and metal parts. So I washed the jeans by hand FOUR more times and each time massive amounts of blue came out. I finally tried the washer one more time and it AGAIN damaged the washer requiring repair. I would never wear these, or sit on any furniture. Ultimately I threw them in the garbage as I wouldn't even goodwill them, affecting someone else. Waste of $30+ and I'll never order from Wrangler again.
