Finally, a driving game that feels like you're driving a real car with a real suspension, not just sliding a car-shaped hockey puck around on a track-shaped ice rink. And you get to customize the bejeezus out of them. And then smash them into things! No powerups, no rubberbanding, just driving (and crashing) skills. The only ding I can give is the large-arena demolition-derby events, which just don't seem to have quite the right camera angle to make fun and effective (and all the AI drivers have an absolutely-UNCANNY ability to avoid you somehow)An absolute *must-have* on sale for $12 though; you can skip the DLCs unless you get really hooked, and buy those later.

Great game! My grandson loves it. The game gives the player several option for game play from demolition derbies to demolition races, and several different race/demolition tracks. The player also has the choice of different vehicles from cars, vans, buses, big rigs, lawn tractors, couches and more.

As a fan, many years ago, of Destruction Derby Raw on the PlayStation, I was happy to see this released. It is very similar in style to that game, albeit at a much higher quality. Plenty to do in career mode, though multiplayer only available online - in fairness there is a bit much going on for splitscreen. My only gripe is that Switch couldn't do it with tilt control. There are less buttons required than Mario Kart so I thought this would have been a nice feature to have. Overall though, good bit of fun.

Good things: I like the races and the vehicles in the game. There are some assists you can use to help with game play. Not as many as Forza, but enough to help you get to the next level. Best advice: Look up the best advanced setting to help with handling on your vehicle. It makes a difference. Bad: Not much content. I finished the 5 levels in 3 or 4 days. Now, all I have left is daily challenges, that are not that great, and the "Custom" events. I like the custom events, but after a while they can get boring. They need more content on this game or you will get bored easily.
Just fun. A simple game but it delivers all you need. Loads of vehicles to upgrade to and upgrade parts. Settings for different courses and a host of tracks with options for plain demolition or race tracks etc. Also you can upgrade to X/s for a price though not much difference unless you want to have a few more courses and detail.
Good game but needs purchase options to get full excitement of game. These ideas of getting what you think is a bargain price game, but then finding out you need to pay out more money to buy "add-on" content seems to becoming more usual with many game makers. Not always a bad idea though, it's a bit like "try-before-you-buy" as you don't need to pay full price when purchasing the game, then it's down to you whether you want to pay out more for more content.
Good Points: The different types of cars to drive and different tracks/challenges. It's a fun racing game, a modern day destruction derby.Improvement Points: The lack of local multiplayer is really disappointing as you shouldn't have to rely on playing with 'friends' online and having to pay the online subscription fee to be able to do so. The driveability of the cars is sometimes difficult too.
Good Points: Hilarious crashes and smashes when played with friends online and locally. Interesting and long-lasting career mode for solo players too. Lots of variations - many many tracks, loads of cars, brilliant customisation aspect. This really is a doozy of a game.Improvement Points: Can become subject to lag on low speed wifi connections causing stuttering. Hardwire it though and the problems vanish. Loading times between races are a little longer than is comfortable.
So a bought this a while ago, and I really don’t regret it. There are many different modes including race, demolition arena and banger race. The physics are realistic too, and there is a lot of room for car customisation. The only thing I would do is to make the playground easier to access without AI drivers with you. Other than that, brilliant!
I am quite literally obsessed with this game. I originally purchased for my 7 year old and had to buy a copy for myself. It's great. I haven't given my son the game yet, waiting until Christmas but me and his Dad has been taking turns playing on the copy I bought us. It's hard to put it down once you start playing. Definitely gotten out monies worth!
