Bought this to replace a 6-year-old Rocket that started falling apart.Seems comfortable.I would probably give it 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive thus why it gets 4.I guess time is what really matters if it holds up!We shall see!

I bought this saddle for my Commencal Meta HT AM Race 29 because the stock Fabric Scoop saddle was horribly uncomfortable for me. I am very pleased with this saddle, and I was shocked that the weight difference between the steel and chromoly versions were so minimal. I have a hard time believing that the gel version with the chromoly rails could be good enough to warrant paying twice as much.

I wanted a replacement saddle for an old mountain bike, that rarely gets to a mountain - so a comfortable seat for riding mainly on the roads. I am used to a road bike saddle. this fits the bill perfectly. a bit more comfort than a road saddle but firm enough to put the load in the right places. good price and reasonable delivery time.. I'll be back again no doubt..

After suffering on an expensive Ergon SM Pro for too long, I switched to this WTB Volt. My butt is in heaven. Even without a chamois, I feel pretty comfy. Longest ride so far is only 2 h but felt great after. Will keep testing to see how far I can push it.
For any sort of up-and-down trail riding (or Enduro), the WTB Volt in 142 is my go to saddle, and has been since 2015. I have it on every bike (gravel, xc, enduro), and plan to buy more for future bikes. The only time the saddle isn't ideal is steep downhills, where its width makes it difficult to get behind the saddle, but a longer dropper post can solve that issue. It's a good balance of light cushion, comfort, weight, and durability all at a great price. I am still using a 2015 Volt Steel (comp) on my road bike and it still looks new after almost 1200 miles.
The finishing is tidy, the curvature is comfortable & the padding is just about right for my bony a**se.The rail 'max limits' are quite minimal & the rails are relatively short so, not much adjustment back/front is possibleFor the price, it's a good replacement for my horrible gooch crushing, minimally padded XC saddle & seems like a far more expensive product though.
I bought this saddle for my Orbea Vector 20. The default saddle was super uncomfortable (although in the shop they said it was a good quality gel saddle). Yet...it was just uncomfortable (causing a weird pinching feeling at the end of the pelvis bone). Got this WTB saddle and the pain is gone. Longer rides might cause a bit of pain, but honestly...one must get out of the saddle every now and then on a longer trip (that is the only solution for me to avoid pain).
I’ve changed from the 135mm Volt, which was comfy, but was getting old, to the 142mm. This is definitely more comfy and a great seat. Didn’t really notice the width difference when dropping the seat for downhill.
Comes in widths, which matters to me. Super comfortable for any length of ride. A bit long in the nose; sometimes snags shorts on techy stuff, but not often. Problem is both rails snapped off on a small drop. WTB promptly replaced it. A few months later, the second seat lost a rail on a flat section of trail while pedalling. I hope the F35 uses better titanium. I'll be looking for something more durable.
This seat (m) came on the salsa mt bike I just bought. Just went on an 18 mile singletrack ride that I've done many times before. The last 2 miles were extremely uncomfortable and I won't be able to ride for another week. I have a larger gel seat on my old mt bike that is waay more comfortable. The wide version of this seat is not much wider (8mm, 5/16") than the medium and I don't believe that will make a difference. I don't trust the WTB gel version (twice the price) either. I need to go back down to REI and find the right seat.
