I have original elite 2 for 3 years now never had a problem till last update + one button (RB) is hard to push down but thats understandable but never drifted!! This one drifts on first day (left joystick) im shocked. Some say that sometimes drift goes away after using it a bit, i will give it a week..

Hadn’t even had it in my hands for 5 minutes and noticed the analogs make a clicking noise on certain angles when you rotate them. Going to return it and replace it. If this ends up being the same I’m done with Xbox’s own controllers and just look for alternatives. They’re so cheaply made nowadays that it’s 50/50 whether or not you’ll end up with a decent controller that has no issues.

Having heard/read all the comments regarding how it breaks after a few months, I took out the 5yrs warranty. For now all is good but a review 6 months down the line would probably be more helpful, including how smooth the process is to have it repaired. I love the fact you can now change some of the colors in the mapping, that the mapping of the paddles is easy to do and that you can remove two of the paddles or put the longer ones at the top. The controller feels sturdy and solid, time will tell...

Pros: After using standard Xbox pads for 20 years the elite series 2 is a breath of fresh air. You can feel the quality in your hands compared with the standard pad.Cons: Not yet
Pros: Lovely colour, very sleekCons: If you want this controller because of the cost you may as well spend the extra for the black one as this one did not come with a rechargeable case or interchangeable parts for it. I got this to stop confusion with our two boys get the black one it has more with it
Pros: My husband loves it. He didn't need to charge it for 3 weeks.He is a big gamer and says, by far, the best for battery lifeCons: It never came with a carry case like the black and silver elite controller.
Pros: Much improved over the standard controller. If bought with all the accessories the choices to tailor it exactly the way you want it are excellent. The build quality is superb and little touches like the 3 position adjustment under the stalks for stiffer/looser movement make a huge difference. It also comes with a charging Dock inside the case to simply sit the controller on to charge it. Excellent controller. I'll be very interested to see how the PS5 version stacks up.Cons: Price with accessories pack is a little pricey for me personally.
Pros: Controller is the best our there in general howeverCons: The particular one I have turns off with any fast movement, pressure on the controller (squeezing it for example) and any knocks like placinging it down a little too hard and it's very annoying
Left joystick is sticking and A and B buttons don’t always register a press. This is the 3rd elite 2 controller I have tried how are Microsoft allowed to keep selling these. I had hoped with the release of the core they would of addressed these well known issues. Also very won’t allow me to return off the website I have to call them??
Same as the standard elite series 2 but if your going for the full package with the accessories its more expensive than buying the full black series 2 controller your paying a 20£ pound difference for a white plate. But if you already have a full kit it's worth it if you fancy a change of colour and use your existing accessories on it. Also Xbox design labs are adding the series 2 this winter so maybe worth waiting.
