Xbox Wireless Controller (Velocity Green)

This was a gift, and recipient was well pleased. The colour is amazing, vibrant white, and it works well with their Xbox one. I didn’t realise however it was battery operated, I though it would have a built in battery for that price and it would be rechargeable by usb. It’s a shame these controllers haven’t been done this way to help save on batteries and environmental hazards.

Best for a Amature gamer.

I bought it for use with my samsung N95. As i dont have any Xbox or PS, so i find it really an essential thing for me to play all those game anyone can play with their Xbox without having the console. Works perfectly, probably need a good powerful TV for smooth stream otherwise i would say its amazing.

Disappointed

Very disappointed with both controllers I've had. Both Right Trigger and B button have both been very stiff with the Right trigger sticking on both controllers. Left thumb stick became gritty also after a few months of use too. Very disappointed with the lifetime of both controllers.

Eggcellent controller

We bought this Xbox Controller instead of Easter Eggs .And this was a big hit my teenage son who loves his Xbox yes more than chocolate! And yes it's a little bit more than more than I'd spend on Easter Eggs . The John Lewis quality we can trust & 2 years guarantee , good grips easy to use feel nice to touch , all adds up to a happy son .

My grandson has an Xbox, which came with its own controller. He expressed a wish for another unit so that he could effectively play against another friend and wished to be able offer his visiting friend the opportunity to join in with the competitive game.He is delighted with his gift and is having immense pleasure in the competitive actions.A wonderful gift giving a lot of pleasure.

Keeps disconnecting, incompatible with older battery packs

I thought I'd spend a little more to purchase another official Microsoft Xbox controller, after the left thumb stick on my previous one broke after a couple of years. Straight away I found that Microsoft have changed the slots for the battery pack, so the old one no longer fits.I'm using it with the batteries provided at the moment, but it constantly disconnects. I've tried the trouble shooting suggestions of updating the firmware, and reconnecting, but this issue persists so I'm back to using the old controller until I can return this and purchase another.

XBox Wireless Controller - Excellent

Bought this XBox Wireless Controller on line for my 16 year old son for Christmas. I was kept informed throughout the transaction. Delivery was quick and item was very well packaged. My son was delighted with the controller and he has not experienced any issues at all. I never normally shop at John Lewis as I always thought it was really expensive. The Controller was sold out elsewhere, I did a search and John Lewis popped up. It was rhe same price as elsewhere. I have since bought more items and some have been cheaper at JL then elsewhere. Thank you
