Xenoblade Definitive Edition has a great cast and story that spans huge beautiful environments to explore. This updated version looks better than ever and has a bunch of Quality of Life improvements like much easier side quest tracking for NPC’s and needed items, plus a mode you can enable to adjust your character levels down and up with your currently accrued character experience to adjust the difficulty! Beyond quality of life improvements there’s also an epilogue story that picks up with some of the cast after the events of the main game and I enjoyed it a lot! If you give Xenoblade DE a go, be sure to play Xenoblade 2 which is an indirect sequel to Definitive Edition and I love both games a lot!!

Omg this game is so gorgeous. Monolith did a great job with the remaster. The soundtrack is good and I love the voice acting. The story is good and the weird combat system takes a moment to get used to but will keep on your toes. Did I mention how breathtakingly beautiful it is makes you wish you visit this world.

A sprawling rpg with compelling characters in a interesting world. The hundreds of side quests can be a bit tedious, there are obvious graphical limitations, and the animations are a bit stiff but this is another high quality jrpg that is easy to get lost in.

Xenoblade Chronicles\n\nThe game itself is fantastic. One of my all time favorites from 30 years of gaming. It is beyond easy to get lost inside the game's world. It actually feels alive and it's exciting to see what's around the next corner. The gameplay is simple enough to pickup, but with enough nuance to really get into it if you so desire. The story is incredible, and full of emotional twists and turns. There is also loads of side quest and optional stuff to keep you busy. Especially if, like me, you tend to want to find everything in these types of games. I really cannot recommend Xenoblade enough. Especially now that it's easier than ever to get your hands on.\n\nShipping/Logistics\n Arrived relatively early in the day (10am, give or take), on the day of ... MoreXenoblade Chronicles\n\nThe game itself is fantastic. Delivery driver even made sure to verify my ID. Only issue is the corner of the game box itself, inside the larger brown packaging box, is damaged. Which, although somewhat minor overall, is still upsetting given that this is a collector's edition....
I bought the switch for my son and the first few games we played were luigis mansion 3, Mario odyssey and then Zelda awakening and breath of the wild. Then this game bc it was supposed to be comparable to Zelda. Zelda was by far the most fun I've had playing an rpg. Within 30min of playing this game I was so disappointed. The movement is awkward, the scenery is nice but nothing is interactive. The battles are brutal. You die without even so much as a movement from the enemy. Sorry but if you like this game then I'm guessing you haven't tried zelda yet. Oh and the sound of walking on pavement will drive you bonkers. Sounds like hoofs of a horse!
The New Nintendo 3DS XL in America is a wonderful system with great variety in software and themes for the system. This game was originally for Wii and was only available at GameStop for a short period of time with EXTREME MARKUP on a "used" copy of the game that was new, but opened. Now on the New Nintendo 3DS family, everyone and experience this great game! The graphics are EXTREMELY watered down and the epic locales have lost some of their charm, but otherwise this is a near perfect port of the masterpiece of a game that not many got to play. If you enjoy Monster Hunter and various action RPG games, this is the correct game for you. The combat is fun and fast paced, and the characters are VERY lovable, especially Reyn. Im a huge fan of the old NES classics. The simple gameplay and fun pixelated graphics are like comfort food served up on an 8-bit platter. Its great that Nintendo was able to take these games and make them fun for the smartphone generation by cutting them up into bite sized, challenging chunks. The remix portions are cool, seeing familiar games in a different context, but for me the original game sections are just as fun - and by focusing on a few game moves or scenarios at a time, I find Im getting better at the original games themselves. I do find that the timing of jumps and moves are little slow from the original NES, which affects things like super Mario Bros, Golf and others. I wouldnt expect there so be controller lag on a Wii U + flat screen set up, but ... MoreIm a huge fan of the old NES classics. Overall, if you have any nostalgia for early Nintendo or for when video games were simple yet still fun, NES Remix Pack is the perfect combination of past and present.
This game is incredible! Great voice acting and fantastic music. Huge "worlds" to explore filled with creatures and NPC's to speak and collect quests from. This game features a story that will keep you motivated and riveted to the end. There's so much to do and learn, you'll be 100 hours in and finally realize a gameplay mechanic you haven't been using or didn't fully understand what you were doing! Lol. Although, there is quite a learning curve, there are tutorials built in that you can keep going back to and, thankfully, we are lucky enough to have the Internet and Xenoblade wikia to help us in fetch quests that would be otherwise difficult to complete. And even though I'm a completionist and wanted to do everything there was to do, you don't have to. You could ... MoreThis game is incredible! Great voice acting and fantastic music. And even though I'm a completionist and wanted to do everything there was to do, you don't have to. You could probably finish the game in 70 hours if you skipped many of the optional quests! As for me, I'm almost done at 120 hours!Yes, it's true the graphics are a little muddy on this system, but even so, there are some times and areas that are beautiful to behold! You will be amazed at the amount of voice work and nice musical scores jammed into this game. If you love rpgs, do not pass this up. It's truly a masterpiece!
If you like JRPGs then this game is for you. It has a very gripping story that keeps you wanting more at every turn. The active battle system is fluid and dynamic. The wide variety of enemies require different methods of attack and make the player consider a battle plan before engaging. Enemies seem to be challenging throughout the game. Regardless of how powerful you are there is always a difficult foe to face. I would recommend this game to any video game lover who really enjoys a good plot. It has given me many hours of pure gaming pleasure. It is by far my favorite RPG of this generation.
A classic JRPG that got a much needed and well-deserved makeover to bring it up to par for modern gaming standards. played this on the wii and loved it, bought it for the 3ds and it was great (can be hard to see on that screen tho) this definitive version is Exactly what we wanted for this game. (i'm still messing around with the extra storyline so cant comment on that yet)
