Went for the 1s version...Absolutely chuffed with it!. Out of the box it takes 5 minutes to assemble with only 4 screws. It does have some big safety instruction stickers on we decided to remove. They left a nasty residue on but that was easily removed with a rag and some wd40 and it looked great once they were gone. You cant help but be impressed by the build quality. Everything is solid and built to last. Its a really stylish bit of kit nothing like those kids fundot scooters. Think the paint is powder coated and it has little bits of silver specs in it which look the part. The foot board is a rubber texture same as the handlebar grips nice and grippy. Ride wise its zippy and comfortable. Very smooth and quiet and you could easily go miles on it... Cant wait for ... MoreWent for the 1s version...Absolutely chuffed with it!. I weigh 92kgs dressed and carry a day pack. I travel 5km to work and 5km home. I go over Sockburn overbridge at 20km/hr fully charged and 17km/hr (end of trip) on my return trip. It uses about 25% each way. I then charge as the power drops too much to use a 2nd day. No parking at work so a bike or scooter is easiest. If I drive the scooter goes in the boot nicely. Not much foot room but enough for a man no problem. This scooter is fine for the purpose. A longer range isn't required for me which keeps the price down. Been traveling to work for 2 weeks now. No issue with performance.

I must say that being my first electric scooter I don't have a lot of experience but in all sincerity Xiaomi (the first product I buy from the brand) surprised me positively. Incredible build quality, for me weighing 100kg and in D mode (limited to 20km/h) travels 18km on the flat, just enough for me to make the journey home to work. I finally put the car in the garage, I do not pollute and limit the costs of travel. 5.30 hours charging times from 15% to 100%. It is true, with the discharge of the battery, it loses that sprint it has with 100%, but it still guarantees you to travel good distances compared to the competition and have cushioning and construction qualities. certainly at the highest levels for this type of instrument.

The scooter is of quite impressive construction! Good materials and nicely finished, my 16 yr old is over the moon with it. Very easy to set up, only the handle bars to bolt on. Very nice to see attention to detail like pre loctited Allen bolts provided. He’s been out n about on it all day and the battery is still at 25%. Such a shame they’re not legal to ride in public in the U.K., unless they’re hired. Cyclists travel at 30mph these days. What’s the harm . Oh well
This is my first electric scooter, so I can't compare it to any others, but I'm absolutely loving the experience. It's so fun to ride, the battery lasts all day. I can go so fast, absolutely great.I will be extra strange and strongly recommend hacking it for a lot nicer control over all of the options. Requires moderate technical skill, a soldering iron, an STLink programmer, and an Android phone, but I love it so much more now than I did before. Probably voided my warranty. I don't care, I love it! Hacked firmware lets it go up Auckland's hills a lot nicer. Set your own speed limit, configure motor power, be your own boss!
Not the fastest but fine as long as don't need to go up any inclines, the issue is maintenance. In first month or two the screw holding the rear mudguard to bracket worked itself loose. Replaced and ensured was tightened in case original hadn't been, but same thing happened again rapidly. Tried super glue etc to try keep them together and didn't work, so tried to at least stop the annoying vibrating sound of bracket and mudguard hit each other. Eventually just removed the bracket which is largely fine except sometimes you need to tap mudguard with foot if you hit a bump at right speed to start it oscillating.First flat tire was hellish to change, especially bad as was winter and the tires are diabolical when cold. Eventually got clamps and steel levers to help do the job as snapped normal bike tire levers. Subsequent changes were not fun but at least knew what I was in for with them.Stem started to feel wobbly. Tighten the latch a bit and improves but still more movement than I care for in it. Inspect it to find source and realise the latch pin has sheered on both sides, pure luck the broken bits have stayed partially in place/haven't popped out. A tiny part which could have led to a bad accident but instead now simply stopping me from using scooter until can source a replacement. FYI parts are hard to find unless you want to take your luck with likes of aliexpress where likely get subpar fake part which may not even fit.
This scooter is not designed to be repaired at home.I've owned mine for about 2 years, ridden it about one year and have given up on it due to various issues. It still goes but it's just such a rough ride at this point that I can't be bothered with it.The tire hubs are designed in such a way that it's incredibly difficult to change a tire if it pops, other repairs often leave the scooter worse off than it was before, as screws don't want to fit nicely a second time and are often a rickety kind of loose. Don't even think about putting on solid tyres yourself, one of the most difficult diy tasks I've ever undertaken and even then I needed two other people to help me.The scooter should be great for about 300-1000 kms of riding but after that things will start ... MoreThis scooter is not designed to be repaired at home.I've owned mine for about 2 years, ridden it about one year and have given up on it due to various issues. Bought for Christmas, used for 3 months constant. Soon as it gets a flat nightmare! It's nothing like changing a bicycle tyre! I tried to follow online tutorials. Need plenty of tools and a spare day. The patience of a saint and strength like the strongest man in the world. I tried failed and possibly broken it now. It must be repaired at a service center. Do not buy if you think you can change the tyre or inner tube!
I'm was anticipating this from the reviews to be slow and not that great of quality. But I'm actually really impressed. It's relatively powerful up hills, got me on a 50 min walking journey in 23 minutes and that was with me stopping regularly from being a little scared and only on 9mph. I'm around 47kg for reference. I realised after I could have changed the settings to up to 12mph. The light is very bright and once you're used to it, the steering is great and smooth. The tires aren't the complete best but can't complain. The battery is a small let down - 34% for 23 min journey uphill. Not sure if I'm overly happy with that but I'm going to buy a bag that attaches to the scooter for charger convenience. So other than that, I'd say 10/10.
Pros: Portable, easily fits in a car trunk or a seat. Lightweight. Very good range. Mobile App to get the ride data and configure scooter features. Cons: Price. I paid $760 shipped, but fair price would be ~$400. Hill climbing. It doesn't have power to climb up and slows down significantly or stops. Doesn't respond fast to the throttle. You push it full speed and it accelerates slow. Thoughts: I may be biased, since my previous scooter was 1200W with 2000W peak. I like to have it in my trunk all the time just for pleasure rides in parks or places I visit. I never used it for city rides. Quality is good. I got the "clone" scooter (no Logo, no Bluetooth, 4.4Ah battery, half price)) and the original one feels better in controls, higher power and better quality. ... MorePros: Portable, easily fits in a car trunk or a seat.
