I really like this Mi band! I wear it every day and find it really useful for life. for example, when I am working out or going to want to see my stress level. also it has its own app which is trucking information about you. For example, I find it really useful for menstruation tracking . Also, I’m a teacher so to see time is really important part of my work. I got different colors of this bracelet and I am color matching it with my outfit.

I got this together with the Poco NFC phone and find it quite simple to set up and use. The screen is clear and swipes through the menu easily. It tracks steps fairly accurately and records sleep, heart rate, notifies SMS and calls along with a few other features that I'm not too bothered about. It's easy to charge with a magnetic connector and USB/plug and lasts about 11 days before needing recharge. Only gripe I have is I keep catching the strap, which pops open and then the band drops off and there are limited apps that can be used with it. The screen display is decent with nice and vibrant colors. Sleep tracking works really well and is accurate. Heart rate monitoring works fine unless you do intensive workouts then it will struggle a bit to accurately measure the sudden increase in heart rate. Most of the activity modes have the same functionality with time, calories, heart rate measured. Only the major exercises like running, treadmill etc have more information given like pace, speed, cadence, stride etc. Battery life is good with all stress and heart rate monitoring turned all constantly getting around 10 days

This fitness monitor seems to have lots of functions, but I haven't found documentation for them and how to use them, so they remain unused by me. It is supposed to interface with Google Fit, which I use, but after doing, I think, what I needed to do to connect them, I don't see any evidence that they are communicating. Their app is pretty mediocre. You have to give a bunch of personal info to a Chinese company, and allow them to monitor your whereabouts and the other stuff it measures. Their assurances that this data is "safe" are not reassuring to me. I have not allowed its app to access my camera and photos, so it asks me every time I start the app to give it those permissions. There is no option to end this pestering. Their assurances that this data is "safe" are not reassuring to me. I have not allowed its app to access my camera and photos, so it asks me every time I start the app to give it those permissions. There is no option to end this pestering. There's an open source connector option "Notify for Mi Band" which I haven't tried yet which cuts Mi Fit out of the data collection picture. For a week or so while walking it would "pause" and then "unpause" itself randomly every 30 seconds. I never figured out why, but it stopped doing that. The screen font is really small and unclear, and the touch screen takes some getting used to and a practiced finger to operate. It wasn't expensive compared to other options, but it would take a lot of work to learn to use it optimally. For basic distance measuring and heart rate monitoring it might be OK. I haven't tried to assess the accuracy of the heart rate monitor.
I wanted an inexpensive fitness band that measured Personal Activity Intelligence (PAI), counted steps, and lasted a long time between battery charges. The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 meets those requirements well. I have found the PAI metric has been motivating me to work out more often and more intensely, which was the desired outcome. It was very easy to set up after downloading the MI Fit app from the Play Store. Most of the functions on my band are turned off. I don't use it for any notifications or sleep tracking, so I get about two weeks of battery life between charges. I am pleased with the purchase.
Pros: Lightweight. Waterproof. Good value for money. Seems to be more accurate step counting than my phone. Doesn't measure sleep movement as steps. Sleep tracking seems to be fairly accurate as it doesn't count laying in bed awake as being asleep. Pulse measuring is accurate and matches manual reading.Cons: Screen is a little bright overnight. Colour options would be nice.
Arrived next day, 3 days sooner than expected. Works perfectly, it is a great product for a very good price. Easy to connect to charger. My band doesn't even last a week with a full charge, but I have many apps running on it, and it charges quickly so it is not a problem at all. Start up tips: -At 1st needs to be charged for a while before the screen could switch on. -As soon as you connect it to the app, you can change the language setting P.s. I managed to scratch mine in a week, so screen protector is recommended
I have used Xiaomi watch bands for years - upgrading from S1 to S2 to S3 then S4 and now the S5. The best feature that I like about all of them is the battery only needs to be recharged about once a month. Earlier version displays were quite dim. The S5 is much better - that's one of the main reasons I upgraded. Apart from telling the time, the watches are waterproof, monitor light + deep sleep, record daily steps and can measure your pulse rate. This model also measures stress levels and REM sleep. I also much prefer this compact watch that is smaller than competitive models - that also need to be recharged daily or every few days.
You claim that Mi Smart Band 5 is India’s No. 1 Fitness Band, 1. However, I beleive that it is the most horrible Fitness Band in India. I purchased one on 2nd Aug 2021. With less than 10 months of using the product, on 1st June 2022, the display screen of the Band came out.Today, I visited the Faridabad NIT5 (MI Exclusive Service Center) and the service I received was absolutely awful. As soon as I showed the product to the Representative Meenakshi Dagar, she started arguing with me in a very bad tone that this is a damage from my end. I asked her that if the display of the screen is intact and the screen has come out of the Band, how is this a damage. After I insisted, she confirmed whether the product is under warranty. After knowing that the product is still covered under warranty, she took it to the Engineer to check and asked me to wait. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was told that the complaint has been denied, despite having it covered under warranty and no fault of mine.I would also like to tell you that this is my first and last purchase with Mi. Going forward, I will not only refrain from buying any Mi Product, but will also recommend every friend, relative, colleague and even human being that I come across to never buy any product of Mi.
The Mi Band 5 comes with an amazing set of features for the price point, and available for only a few pounds more than cheap generic equivalents from China, it is vastly superior in quality. The Mi Fit app is excellent for a free app, and when used in conjunction with Xiaomi's body composition scales, the feedback offered is excellent and quite comprehensive. It lacks blood oxidation and blood pressure measures, but at this price that is not at all unreasonable. Much better is that the measurements it does take are pretty accurate. Sleep monitoring is vastly assisted by enabling the extra sleep monitoring setting on the band. The band is very light, almost un-noticeable. Wearing it in the shower has caused no problems.
