Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro 6GB 64GB Glacier Blue (Global Version)

I purchased this device last year and as usual I was extra careful in keeping my mobile devices safe. I must say I am really really displeased with the quality of this device, It gave me temperature warning on a normal sunny day and stopped functioning, do mind others with much older devices did not have any issues at the same place and time. Later during a very light rain it took moisture damage and completely died on me, the funny this is it didn't even get any water on it.I understand exposure to elements will damage devices but all through these years I have used a couple of mobile devices, motorola and honor for approx 5-6 years, never faced these issues. What makes this more unbearable is that the device is still covered with 1 month warranty remaining but the MI authorised service center personnal outright claimed uster damage on it, they were not even bothered to hear my side, I was asking them how water got in without getting wet but they were adamant. MI please take note your devices are of very poor quality and unreliable for Indian environments, your advertising regarding quality is misleading and incomplete. It will be better if you can give a warning like 'MOBILE WONT WORK IN SUN AND WILL TOTALLY DIE IF IT SENSES A DRIZZLEPeople please avoid this brand unless you are the kind of person who lives and breathes inside AC rooms all day!!! Best all-rounder phone (4G) in segment

Pros:DISPLAY: The display is really amazing. Super AMOLED+120 Hz refresh rate was not known in this segment. Earlier we had to choose between 120Hz IPS LCD and 60Hz AMOLED Technically the best in the segment. Also, the chin is one of the smallest, so least interruption in while watching videos and playing games.AUDIO: Sound is definitely a big thumbs up for this device. Thanks to the Dual Stereo speakers. Also it supports Hi- Res Audio. As a result the output through headphones are really good.BUILT QUALITY: This device weights almost 193gm without case despite having a 6.67″ screen. The stock Camera App is loaded with features including support for RAW format. Primary Camera along with Macro are Excellent.Areas in which it is decent:PERFORMANCE: The phone is powered by Snapdragon 732G which is a very fairly good processor for day to day usage in this pricing. It can push consistent 60FPS in High Graphics in Call of Duty Mobile. It gets warm while playing and also while using Camera but not overheating, which is normal. However, if you are looking for something more powerful then definitely you can choose Dimensity 800U (Realme X7 & Narzo 30 Pro) and even Snapdragon 860 (Poco X3 Pro).BATTERY: It has 5000 mAh battery which usually last long for 1 day. (I have been using this on 120Hz since day 1). However, the charging speed should have been better despite having 33W charger included in the box. Charging from 10–100% takes 90 mins, which is 1% per min.Scope for Improvement Required:SOFTWARE: MIUI is no doubt a feature rich UI but definitely not the best UI in the segment. I haven't received any ads or recommendation. I haven't updated the device with latest security patch because of the bugs that are introduced after every update. However, Xiaomi has reduced the bloatware after Govt of India banned many apps. So it is relatively cleaner than previous generation. If you want to remove to bloat, you can do it as follows:—

Been in ownership of this Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro for two weeks and I've got to be honest, fair play for the money it's a really good phone. Extremely unhappy with this product

A 3rd class phone if you wish to use it for 2 yrs or more. A nice choice if you use it for 1 year. Thereafter front camera stops working. Apps that use front camera crashes. No video call can be done as front camera does not work. After 1 and half year, sim slot 1 stops to recognize the sim card. Back camera also crashes after every use. Service centre people are least helpful. However they are very efficient at wasting your time and energy⚡.

Glittering but not Gold!

I have used the best mobile in economical range, but with WORST camera, and that is Mi Max 2!👎Now I switched to Redmi Note 10 Pro, again not-so-good phone, but camera is good.I did not consider any realme or other mobile due to its relatively smaller screen size and only triple canera on rear side, and higher cost also. But, then Redmi Note 10 Pro is duping the customers. It's 6.67 inch screen size is only an eye wash since the screen is very narrow and in front of Mi Max 2, it looks like a kiddoo! Mobile is slow, interface is dull, 6GB RAM is only for name sake and you don't at all feel the speed or fast access to files. It's okay for the price

I bought this wanting a low price phone with a half decent camera. The camera to me was important when looking at reviews. This phone looked good when looking at reviews. The battery life is good and if you want to listen to music on your phone this is a good phone and loud. But it's not great if using the video option. The voice taping either goes low or tapes the voice with interference. Scratchy sound! Also reduces voice volume every so often when chatting on phone! this was happening within days of buying the phone. Maybe my phone is slightly faulty. So it's not for me and wished I'd bought a different make. It's also to heavy for my liking. The main issue for me is the fingerprint scanner on the right keeps getting touched when handling the phone such as getting it in and out your pocket. This sometimes uses up your fingerprint attempts and therefore you have to enter your PIN or pattern to unlock the phone. Another small issue is the phone has froze a few times, if this happens just press and hold the power key (also fingerprint scanner) and the phone will restart and work normally. I've now just gone 2 and a half days without charging and it's worked just fine.Like I said for the price this phone is hard to beat.

Within year very bad experience with redmi note 10 pro

Of all the phones I have used so far, I have got the worst experience in this (REDMI NOTE 10 PRO) phone. I am very careful with my phone,I have never dropped it till date. But after one year the issue of fingerprint started coming in this phone. And the fingerprint option disappeared automatically.And now this phone does not even open with its power button. The screen shows up after repeatedly pressing the power button. And sometimes even that doesn't happen.And the phone automatically switches off. I am very upset because of this, when I need this phone urgently,Then I have to face these issues.This is very bad experience for me. I have to use this phone like this..

I bought this phone, it seemed okay generally - the user interface was fine and battery good but the camera struggled to focus on moving targets eg animals and the zoom lost clarity.Unfortunately the bluetooth function never worked so I contacted Redmi direct who were helpful with providing testing options to try and get it to work,before ultimately having to return via Very. The phone would also not charge well unless with the provided cable, on a night away I forgot the charger and it took literally all night to get a decent charge when the phone advertises charge within hours.Word of warning - I have been told there is no replacement option from Very, only a refund then buy a new phone myself.
