Easy to use and set up. Came with 16 pods to try out. I went and got the offer of the Aeroccino which is definitely a good idea because otherwise you end up with lukewarm coffee which is never good.It is aesthetically pleasing and relatively compact. And much more sturdier feeling than the tassimo. It also seems to be a much better designed machine with the silver grates which the cup rests on having holes exactly where the drips fall, so they don't become dirty looking.The coffees are very good too. And with being able to recycle the pods much more environmentally friendly than the tassimo plastic ones.

I hesitated and wondered whether I would enjoy the coffee as much if I were to make it in a machine like this - but I needn't have. After many years my Nespresso machine began to leak. Choose the silver option, matches my kitchen perfectly. Its very stylish and so easy to use. It's slightly bigger than my older model but so much quieter. I also get more coffee in my cup which is a bonus! Even my husband was impressed with how the machine looked. Also nice to receive some pods to try. A great price too. Highly recommend. As usual delivery was excellent from John Lewis.
I couldn't find my item in store but a member of staff looked it up for availability elsewhere and online. I ordered for store collection and it was ready the following day.Great piece of kit, very sleek and doesn't take up lots of space on my kitchen worktop. The machine comes with a complimentary selection of pods so you're ready to go. It was easy to set up and straightforward to use. As will all coffee machines it's a little noisy but not as much as others I've had. Would recommend this machine for personal use and as a great gift idea.
I bought the silver one - looks nice and stylishIt's different to the 'U' model I had before as there's no automatic engagement or release of the capsule. You lift the lever up and insert a capsule - press the lever down to engage the capsule - press a button to dispense the coffee - then only when you lift the lever up again does the capsule drop into the waste container - its not a bad thing - just different... Also the U model had 3 different dispense levels - this only had two - they've done away with the Ristretto tiny level - but they still have the Espresso and Lungo levels - OK by me as I can still make my Espresso Martinis ;-)Giving it 4 stars as only had it a month...
Bought this as a replacement for a similar design (different manufacturer) which had failed.Really positive action on the loading lever gives the impression that it would pierce any capsule, which is great because the previous one struggled on the more robust capsules which didn't have thin foil bases.The water tank is a nice simple shape which is easy to clean and easy to detach.The chrome parts of the drip trays are actually metal (not cheap plastic like the previous model, which was similarly priced.)Doesn't give annoying beeps at various stages of the process (yes, unlike the previous one!)Like it.
While spending a week in a five star Glasgow hotel in October this year, I used the Nespresso coffee machine in our room. Ooh, the coffee was delicious. I've never used a coffee machine before. I've had non-automated coffee makers, at least four different types, but tbh am rubbish at making decent coffee. The espresso produced by the hotel room Nespresso machine was delicious so I decided to buy one when we arrived home. We've had our own Nespresso machine since October and use it every day. It works perfectly. Scores 10/10. The pods go to the Nespresso shop for recycling (or Nespresso will collect).
This replaces the previous version of the same machine which lasted many years and eventually broke (or I broke it) with a metal refillable capsule (be warned). I was thrilled that JL could send me a new one two days later in the middle of lockdown. Amazing.Life without coffee is impossible and although I feel bad about the waste, the taste of the coffee is fantastic and it is so convenient. I wish I was brave enough to use refillable capsules again, then I would not feel so guilty.
This is so much better than our previous Nespresso machine. Maybe it is because it is manufactured by Krups.The machine is overall very smart looking with a neat and slim design. The water container, at back of the machine, is more cylindrical and so it is easy to take off lid and fill without the need to remove the container from the machine.Compatible other coffee pods, such as Starbucks, as we continue to experiment.Overall good product, well manufactured at sensible price point and not restricted to only using Nespresso coffee pods if you fancy a change
