The material and ability to contain warmth in the body is adequate. However, the cut has not been styled well. I tried on Size 8 and Size 10. The collar around the neck was too tight for both sizes. For Size 8, under the arms was too tight and difficult to move my arms but way to loose an baggy with Size 10. If I had the options again, I would have payed more for comfort with the Icebreaker
I was sick of wearing black so I thought I would try this one.I bought a black one last year and wore it constantly in winter. It holds it shape, doesnt smell after one use ( and more depending on activity) NO HOLES and a great fit.
Super comfy base layer, and the thumb holes in sleeves are awesome. Definitely able to feel the difference in this vs my Aldi merino top. This wicks moisture better and is warmer

I was at the snow for the entire season and was snowboarding through all types of weather conditions. I found this to be the best layer and would wear it almost every day out on the snow. It is very breathable and moisture wicking for those warmer days, but also keeps you very warm on cold days. I found most days I would wear this merino with a t-shirt and my ski jacket and if it got hot I would go take my jacket off. I had other merino base layers but this one was my favourite and most comfortable.
Good quality, washes well and very comfortable. Arm length is appropriate as it has thumb holes to warm your hands, the previous version used to be a bit short.
